The food here is usually good and timely and correct for the most part... they always bring us the wrong soda. This time though we ordered roasted pork and it was dry and hard. I also ordered a piece of flan that didn't make it in the delivery. I called them around 6:30. They stated they made a mistake. Ok no biggie. 7:30 came. Nothing. 8:30 came. Called again left me on hold for 5 minutes while I can hear them discussing where the flan was. I didn't know such an insignificant piece of food can cause so much drama. Third time calling. Almost 9pm and the guy comes knocking at my door stating he called me numerous times. Don't lie. He never called. It took him 3 hours to redeliver this piece of flan. I ordered a small soup and a chicken lunch. After waiting 40 minutes, which is understandable it being Sunday I finally receive my food. I open my soup to see it's just a huge bone and a piece of platano. I called so they can send me another one, after be put on hold, passed around, I finally got the owner on the phone and was told to wait 40 more minutes for the soup, no problem. But the argumentative demeanor and the lack of empathy was really the last straw. The owner wouldn't let me speak, nor even cared what I was saying. Rushing me off the phone. I ordered food from here tonight... *$5.99 baked chicken mini combo (chicken, rice, beans & can of soda) *$2.00 side of Yuca *$2.00 slice of Dominican Cake Food was delivered WITHOUT slice of cake AND can of soda! Rice was very mushy like they'd cooked it right after I placed my order and it hadn't fully cooked! Yuca tasted under cooked and awkward. I'm surprised at the low reviews. I've ordered here consistently once or twice a week for just over 2 years, and the food has been very consistently decent. I'm usually apprehensive about ordering seafood from non-seafood restaurants but after trying their Pescado Frito once I was happy at how fresh the seafood is. My daughter's favorite item is the Chicharon de Pollo Sin Hueso, while I rotate through either the Pollo Al Horno, Pescado Frito, Rueda Frito, Pescado Al Ajillo, and sometimes the Chicharon. I avoid red meat, but I've had the Pernil before and was happy with that as well. The only criticism I have is the red beans can be a bit soupy, and the beans-to-rice ratio that comes with the combo is small (just order extra beans, problem solved), but the black beans are great and I'm very happy when they have Lentils available. Lastly we usually get the items in their Combo form. Between the portion sizes and the combo's they're a great value for the money. read more

Their food has become really nasty not worth it anymore. Their chow fan tastes like water were they boiled the chicken, the fried pork chop is nasty. The chicken chicharrón is not what is used to be. I don't know if they changed the chef or owner but it's totally nasty. read more

I ordered scrambled eggs with onion, peppers and tomato with home fries and ham for breakfast. When the order came there was HUGE chunks of CELERY in the eggs and potatoes. I am highly allergic to celery. When we called them to inform them of the issue the only response was , "WHO IS ALLERGIC TO CELERY?" which is extremely insulting especially since it is a life threatening situation. They didn't even offer an apology. So my question is not who is allergic to celery, but WHO PUTS CELERY IN EGGS????? Do not eat from this restaurant! read more

Im writing this review to warn others about the worst Spanish food ever. I ordered food at about 8:30pm last night because I was starvinggg and I was craving dominican food so bad, it was one of the only places open. I ordered a chicken mini combo with beans and a can of soda, and two morir sonando. The morir sonando was great, my boyfriend even loved it! I tried it before from this place and its always been good because I mean it is a dominican place so they should know how to make the drinks. My problem here is the food. First, they gave me a drumstick and a thigh and it was sooo dry I couldn't even finish it. The rice was super salty and a little hard, definitely not like the rice my mom makes. And last but least the beans had MAGGOTS in it. Yes you read that write, maggots. I completely lost my appetite when I saw that and now at 10 in the morning im here sitting on the toilet.
