This is one of my favorite Fusion Taco spots. The prices affordable and food is perfectly creative and tastefully balanced. It is located at the Ridge Hill Mall next to Legoland Discovery Zone & TJmaxx. This shopping center has ample paid parking: $5.00 for upto 3 hours. It also has a Showcase Movie Theater. The Cantina is the perfect place to pick up a light snack after Shopping shopping around in this large outdoor mall, dining in for a lunch date or family dinner. It has a large seating space that can accommodate up to 30 tables of 4. Reservations are welcomed and recommended, especially on the weekends. They have afternoon happy hour from 3pm -7pm Mon-Fri. S7 margarita starring happy hour. Happy hour tacos start from 3:25 to 3.95 I ordered three tacos, the battered fish taco, the pulled pork taco, and the pork belly taco. Each one was nicely, salted and drizzled with a different sauce, generously and the combination of the textures between the meat, and the sauce was bursting with flavor.. keep in mind the food is generously salted so if you don't want a glass salt, ask if they can lightly salt the meat. The hostess was friendly and service was quick. The restaurant was kept clean and organized.. I highly recommend trying this taco restaurant. It's all good. Vibe: Festive and has Hispanic music playing in the background really cool vibe. It has a men's and women's restroom and is handicap accessible. It doors have hooks for your bags and coats.

First time diner and wanted to take advantage of the Happy Hour Menu. Place provides outside seating in the summer months which is great on a nice breezy day like today. I truly adore the color of outer restaurant it's very vibrant. Margaritas are a must try In had a passion fruit with tajin. My favorite tacos were the steak, shrimp and pork. Can't wait to come again. Tacos are mini great for trying a lot at a time. I thought guacamole would be made table side for the extra touch but unfortunately they didn't do that.

We had a reservation for 15 people this past Saturday April 25th. The manager Ernesto was very accommodating and always promptly return my phone calls. We were never rushed they let us enjoy our time with our family get together to celebrate my grandson's birthday. Our waiter Jeffrey was phenomenal. The food as always was excellent the drinks on point . The ambiance was fun and energetic and the music brought everything together. I highly recommend this place

I've been to Cantina in Ridge Hill a few times since it opened, and while there's definitely potential, it's still working out some kinks. On this visit, it was really crowded and we didn't feel like waiting for a table, so we grabbed a couple of open seats at the bar. It took a while for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, the drinks came out wrong. That said, they made it right by not charging us for the mix-up and letting us take to-go cups with our corrected drinks--which were actually pretty good. One small funny moment: the manager was dressed like a regular customer, so I had no idea he even worked there until he greeted us. Friendly guy, just a little confusing at first! Service overall was still solid despite the hiccups. As for the food: the fish and shrimp tacos were great, and I liked the quesadillas. The Mango Jerk, Pork Belly, and Pulled Pork tacos weren't bad either. The chicken fajitas, wings, and plantains were just okay--kind of mid. Ambiance is nice, the vibe is lively, and happy hour prices are pretty decent. I'm giving it 3 stars for now, but I see a lot of potential. I'll be back to see how they keep improving.

Been to Cantina twice and the food has been delicious both times. The service is fast and everyone is friendly and polite. Went for happy hour on a Friday at 6pm and the food and drinks were at the table within 15mins. The drinks are strong too. Music and decor create a good vibe. My go to spot at Ridge Hill.

Guac is tasty, we added hot sauce for that extra kick.

The centerpiece of this restaurant in my opinion is the beautiful horse shoe shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant. I typically enjoy a nice clean and clear bar so you can fall into the feeling of the restaurant and see what is happening all around. This bar had bottles of wines lining the bar, in my opinion I would remove the bottles and allow for a more open feel. Personally I felt that the bottles created a barrier between me and the bar tender. The outside tables are tables typically for 2 or 4 people with banquet seating and then chairs. Oh, my God How's this boy treating you? Very good wonderful started The service was attentive but not over bearing which created a relaxed feeling.. I was looking for a wine and cheese bar for a night our for myself. I wanted a place that I have not been to before and yelp directed me here Wines on Aug range from 15 and up for a glass which is not outrageous in price. They had a nice selection of wines and I stepped out of ny own comfort zone of a cab and tried the house Pinot Noir accompanied by the B6 board. Overall I was satisfied with the meat and cheese selection and baguette that was served with it had a nice oil on it. Presentation was well done with one exception in my mind, the breads ticks came in a package. Presentation factor went down with that. Take one of the small wife carafe used to serve the wine and present it in that. Overall I felt something was missing but could not put my finger on it. Overall this place has a great date night vibe.

The baked clams and mussels were outstanding, and the crusty bread was perfect for soaking up every drop of sauce. I added jalapeños to the Snow White pizza and it was incredible. The dough had the perfect chew and flavor. My boyfriend's chicken parm was massive--two huge cutlets--and easily a 10/10. The seafood pasta was equally delicious. Dessert was the perfect finish: frozen espresso, refreshing lemon sorbet, and a giant tiramisu that's big enough for a crowd. My only small complaint is that guests pack their own leftovers. At this level, I think the staff should handle that. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, he was extremely dismissive and simply said no, then added that there were no tables available for us--which was odd considering the group right after us got seated immediately. I'm not sure if it was how we were dressed or what, but his overall attitude felt very cold and unwelcoming. We ended up sitting at the bar, and to be fair, Bill did help coordinate with the bartender Ana to get us seats together, which I appreciated. Ana herself was kind and attentive, though when we asked for food recommendations, she mostly just said "everything is great." I personally prefer a bit more honest guidance. For food, we shared the Hot Honey Roni Sicilian, Caesar salad, and calamari fritti. The pizza was definitely the highlight--super delicious and satisfying, especially as my first time trying that style. The Caesar salad was good, but for $16, I found the portion a bit small. The calamari was also solid, though we didn't love the sauce it came with. While we were eating, Bill noticed where we had placed our bikes (near the stairs where we could keep an eye on them) and came over rather abruptly, asking why they were in "his garden." Even after my friend apologized, he just walked away. His overall presence throughout the visit really hurt the experience--definitely not the kind of hospitality you expect. Overall, the experience was okay. The drinks were good, and my friend and I always make the best of things, but for the price point (about $80 each with two drinks and tip), I expected better service and slightly more generous portions. I'd consider going back, especially if we're biking in the area again--but next time, we'll definitely bring bike locks...and avoid the garden

I opted for water as my grandson did and his fiancé order a glass of white wine. It was Sauvignon Blanc, and she found very satisfying. For an appetizer, we shared a truffle pizza. It was a different flavor that I never had before, but very tasty. For entrees they ordered a sliced steak and chicken parm. I went for the seared duck with mushroom gravy. I never had duck served this way. I really really enjoyed it. No one wanted a dessert so my grandson ordered espresso and I ordered a cappuccino. The waitress brought us thin slices of powdered sugar biscotti as a compliment. The ambience is quiet and cozy and dimly lit with an electric light on each table. On the menu it mentions like this restaurant is a sister location of Cafe Alia, also in Scarsdale. This was an excellent choice for Thursday night. You won't be disappointed.Sal E. New Rochelle

A Chic Culinary Gem in the Heart of Yonkers…read more If you're looking for a spot where the energy is high, the crowd is trendy, and the food is artfully executed, Zuppa in Yonkers is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere grabs you--it's upbeat and lively, fueled by a playlist of infectious, danceable house music that sets the perfect tone for a night out. Our evening was a masterclass in Italian-inspired dining, supported by a waitstaff that was consistently attentive without being overbearing. The Starters: Fresh & Crispy We kicked things off with the Calamari Salad, and it was nothing short of fabulous. The calamari had that elusive, "just right" amount of crunch, and I was impressed by how fast it arrived at the table. Even better? The portion was incredibly generous, making it a perfect shareable plate. Following that, the Caesar Salad arrived. While a staple at many restaurants, Zuppa's version stood out for its beautiful presentation--shaved parmesan and crisp greens arranged with real care. The Main Course: Flavor Over Everything For the entrees, we explored both land and sea: * Salmon over Quinoa: This dish was a standout for its flavor profile. The salmon was perfectly cooked and bathed in a bright, vibrant citrus sauce that paired beautifully with the nutty quinoa. My only minor critique is that the portion felt a bit small compared to the other hearty dishes, but the taste certainly made up for it. * Butternut Squash Risotto: A seasonal dream. The sauce was delicately seasoned, providing a smooth, velvety coating over the perfectly al dente risotto. It was comforting yet sophisticated. The Grand Finale: Dessert Excellence If you have a sweet tooth, Zuppa is your paradise. We sampled two desserts, and both were elite: 1. Chocolate Brownie with Salted Caramel Gelato: Simply exquisite. The richness of the brownie against the salty-sweet chill of the gelato created a perfect balance. 2. New York Cheesecake: Classic, creamy, and delicious. It was the ideal way to round out a high-energy meal. The Verdict~ Zuppa strikes that rare balance between a "scene" and a serious culinary destination. Whether you're there for the trendy vibes and the music or the expertly prepared seafood and pasta, you're in for a treat.
