Checked this KBBQ spot out during their weekday happy hour and honestly, it's one of the better deals I've come across lately. For $22.99/person from 11am-5pm, the value is pretty hard to beat. The meat quality is solid... not ultra premium, but definitely flavorful, and well worth the price point. The ambiance of the restaurant is what it is, an AYCE KBBQ spot. What really stood out was the service. The staff were super attentive, quick with grill changes, and consistently checked in. You can tell they actually care about the dining experience. Big plus for the self-serve banchan station too. Everything was stocked, fresh, and convenient so you could grab exactly what you wanted and how much you wanted without having to ask the staff. Overall, a really solid AYCE KBBQ option if you're looking for good service, decent quality meats, and a happy hour that actually feels worth it. Definitely planning to come back.

Is becoming one of my favorites. Each time I come, the wait hasnt been terrible and the customer service is great. They do a good job at making sure the meats keep coming and the robots are a cool addition. It keeps my kids entertained. I like it because of the self serve bar and its variety. I would go just for their fried chicken. There is alot of tables and I can see it be busy and lively at night. They are open til 2am. Overall, pretty good place to try out.

Best if you go during the week Monday- Thursday. $10-$14 cheaper per person. Service is good. Food is good, prices a bit steep. Can Soda $2.75, water free. The best part is the salad bar. All you can eat.

Second time coming here! But this time the whole fam came with! Friendly staff and we didn't wait too long for a party of 13 people! Lots of tables good lighting and good food! The chicken wings are amazing! The breading is so good! We ordered a the rib eye, marinated beff and buldogy and it's so tender so good! Make sure you come in empty and enjoy all the emats but these are out favorites! One of the best kbbq in the LA area. 100% recommended!

This ayce kbbq place is conveniently located on the corner across the Regal Edwards theater. There is a public parking plaza behind the restaurant. I went to take advantage of their weekday lunch special for $22.99 that has 15 items to choose from. The quality of the brisket and pork belly are solid. They also have a self serve salad bar with many items that taste fresh and delicious, such as salad, potato salad, pink radish, japchae, and tofu soup. I really enjoy the kimichi and seasoned cucumber to go with the meat. The servers are nice and always walking around to help, especially with changing the grill. Had a nice experience here and would recommend to others.

A family member recommended Road to Seoul BBQ for their affordability and selections. We went on a Sunday night at around 8:45pm and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant wasn't busy, but they seemed understaffed. The service was friendly and faster once we were seated. The restaurant's spacious and lively, and good for big and small parties. We liked the self-serve salad & hot foods bar, which was included in the price per person. We had to ask the staff for sauces since they weren't at our table nor the bar. From the bar, I enjoyed the fried chicken wings and japchae. However, next time we visit, we'd get less food from the bar because we felt that we didn't take advantage of the BBQ as much during this visit. From the BBQ selections, I enjoyed the brisket for its quality and how well it paired with the side dishes. Unfortunately, we didn't try their desserts, which cost extra.

Road to Seoul has improved a lot since they first opened. Food is fresh and delicious, pricing is right, service is amazing and ambiance is great! I also love that they have happy hour pricing. I went from not wanting to come back because of how bad the quality was in the beginning to how great it is now. This is my current go to KBBQ in the SGV area. =)

Good food like always, but service needs to be more improve. Food bar has a wide selection. I like the corn and fried chicken.

Weekend ayce special from 11-3pm for $26.99 and order from standard menu is a pretty good deal. If you can make it on the weekday between 11-5pm, it's even cheaper at $20.99 and same menu! Other discounts they advertise include getting half off on your bday (+/- 1 date) showing ID as well as senior discount. For your bday they will play bday song over the speaker. Ban chan/side dishes are in the self serve area. I appreciate that the spring salad, bean sprouts and oranges were fresh since those are some items I always get. Both rice and rice paper are included but need to ask server for it. The unique thing here is a robot comes to your table with the order and your server will remove the meats from it. Servers are attentive and will remove grill plate without requesting. AYCE but only 3 meat orders at a time with 2 hr limit. Items come out quickly and is pretty good quality meat. Come here if you like lots of seating, open late, and a bar area

GOOD PLACE FOR KOREAN BBQ =========================== My son, husband and I finished a little post rain hike at Hahamongna Watershed Park and a drive through Altadena on Christmas Day. We were in the mood for Chinese Food, so my son started looking for places nearby. Initially we were going to drive to China Town because a lot of local Chinese restaurants were closed, but found that quite a few were open in Alhambra. We parked in the structure just south of Main Street on S. First St. and and ended up deciding on Korean BBQ at the last minute because a couple were open on that block. We walked in Road to Seoul and found out that seniors get $10.00 off the standard price of $30.99 per person, so that was cool. My son's was full price. We just let my son order all the various meats, pork belly and chicken. As a second course he decided on baby octopus which I would not have eaten if my life depended on it. Two of those arrived and he could barely eat one. I don't want to go into the gory details about that sad and poor selection. Service was outstanding and our grill must have been changed at least ten times. The salad bar with all the side dishes was great. My son and I really liked the kimchi. I am not a big meat eater in general, but I highly recommend it for those who really love it. My Cass beer was very good.

I came here with my boyfriend and coworkers. We had such a fun time. The food was great and they have a buffet style setup for the other food items that were not raw meat. They had a wide selection. We enjoyed the pork cheek and filet mignon the best. I would suggest coming here. The yogurt soju was also excellent. This is a great place for groups. They do sing Happy Birthday as well.

Happy Hour AYCE? Heck yes! Didn't expect much but boy did it change my viewpoint. Tastes and freshness of meats and salad bar were on point. Service was half robot cat and half human, both were on it. The vibe is chill, music playing but not overly loud. Bathroom has hot water I love that!

So it's a Monday quite busy for a Monday. Wait staff (Derick)very welcoming. Salad bar fresh, lunch menu, very good time to go (draw back no chicken). All around value and service, great ambiance.

Still Our Favorite Tofu Spot -- Had to Bring the Family This Time!…read more Of course we had to come back to our favorite tofu spot, and this time we brought the family for a belated Mother's Day dinner after raving about this place nonstop. Best part? We saw Shelly, our favorite girl that works here! She's always so sweet, kind, and welcoming every single time we visit. It honestly makes the experience even better when you're greeted by familiar friendly faces. We came around 7:30 PM and the wait was only about 10 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering how popular this place gets. Service was quick, efficient, and the food kept coming out fast. Plenty of tables inside, so it never felt too cramped. This time around we ordered: * Jap Chae * Bulgogi with Beef & Seafood Tofu Combo * Spicy Pork w/ seafood & beef combo * Teriyaki Chicken w/ seafood & beef tofu * Bulgogi with All Seafood & Beef Tofu Combo And of course... the unlimited refills of the banchan are always one of the best parts. Honestly, sometimes I think I could make a full meal out of just those alone. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and exactly why we keep coming back every couple of months. I will say the prices have slowly been creeping up little by little each visit, but honestly, we still enjoy it every time. Still our go-to tofu spot and definitely one we'll continue bringing family and friends to. Happy eats!

It made me do a double take after not visiting for a while! Take advantage of the complimentary refills! I liked the kimchi so much that I bought a large container to-go. I've been eating it daily ever since. It's on the sweeter side, not totally tart. Don't sleep on the raw squid either! - They've introduced two naengmyun options, one spicy and one non-spicy, just in time for summer. We tried the non-spicy version and my family enjoyed it. They use a chicken broth base and it was light, refreshing, and surprisingly addictive. - I love that they offer a beef and octopus soondubu (generous portion of octopus!). Most places only have a beef and seafood combination. Between the flavorful banchan, refreshing naengmyun, and attentive service, Young Dong Tofu has firmly worked its way back into my rotation.

Here's what we ordered: **Beef Tofu Sou (Medium Spicy): Easily one of the worst tofu soup (soondubu) I've ever had. First off, when I added the egg, the soup wasn't boiling so the egg didn't cook through. The soup base hardly had any spicy kick. The soup itself was very bland and had no authentic soondubu flavor. (1/5) **BBQ Short Ribs: The galbi was not that hot when it was served. It was very fatty and mostly bone. I do not recommend if you're looking for authentic galbi. (1/5) The banchan selection was very poor. The service was decent in the beginning but once I was ready for my check, it was really hard to flag anyone down. If you're looking for authentic Korean style tofu soup, I do not recommend. If you're catering towards a less flavorful Americanized tofu soup then this may be the spot for you.
