The meals took a while even though the place wasn't busy. We soon found out the eggs had been switched. Her's were easy over and mine were medium. So we switched the eggs. My easy over eggs were not fully cooked before they were flipped. My wife's medium eggs were cooked perfectly. However neither egg dish was salted or peppered while being cooked. The pancakes were perfect however. Light, fluffy, and delicious!' She shares one with me and I agreed, delicious, light and fluffy. Her hash browns were not cooked except on the surface. Mine were cooked nicely. However again the hash browns were not salted or peppered during cooking as far as I could tell. All and all the food was good for a breakfast place and the serving sizes were adequate for what we ordered.

The Cabbage Shed is a must visit!…read more I've been to Frankfort a few times but I was introduced to The Cabbage Shed during this recent visit. I was surprised it took so long to learn about this place! I visited during the warmer months so the outdoor patio was open. They have a DJ on the patio that allows you to request a song via submitting a song from the available vinyls. It was fun to look through the vinyls he had available and playing throwback songs. The Cabbage Shed is extremely popular so I highly recommend making a reservation, if possible. The outdoor sitting goes fast but they have ample indoor tables. My group was able to at least sit next to a window even though we were inside. The view on the patio is breathtaking! Even if you cannot sit outside, they'll let you step out to take a photo from the second floor if it's not too busy inside. I'm not sure if it's a requirement but every place in this area pour heavy handed. No complaints! I ordered the baked penne with sausage and it was unbelievable. I ordered this dish months ago and I still mention it anytime I reflect on my trip. The dish was flavorful and the ingredients tasted fresh. This was a relief because that's not the case for a lot of places nearby. I was easily able to get a a second meal out of my order. If I'm able to get at minimum two meals from my order it's always worth the price. I will definitely visit The Cabbage Shed during my future visits.

The veal was two 3" long pieces, burnt and crisp on the edges and tough beyond words. The mozzarella on top was not melted and only 3/4" in size. (no exaggeration). The pasta had 7 small slices of mushrooms on top and some shaved parmesan. It had absolutely NO mushroom marsala sauce anywhere on the plate, no seasoning and the pasta was overcooked and unsalted. Thought we just had it wrong so didn't speak up but on the way home, looked up the menu and realized the chef is the one who got it wrong, not us. Won't be back.

I've never had a drink from the Villa Marine Bar and questioned if there was alcohol in it because you test it instantly haha. The staff at the Villa Marine Bar are friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was new to waitressing (she told it was her first shift) and it was amazing seeing how patient everyone was with her. She was awesome and even remembered my group the next day when we visited. I was able to try the popcorn chicken during my first visit. It was okay but as I mentioned earlier, you go to the Villa Marine Bar for the drinks. Most of the people I observed were there for the drinks. The view of the marina was lovely.
