The bar

The world cup atmosphere was amazing!!! Lots of TV's which is a must for a sports bar. The pizza and wings were the best. The Bartender , Dina, is the absolute best!!!she was always ready to take orders and she delivered fast evertime. Would love to come back when we come back to town.

Had a great late lunch at The Elbow Room with one of my clients and was genuinely impressed. The prices were incredibly affordable, especially for the quality of the food. The pizza was fantastic, and the steak bites were absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere, great food, and great value. Definitely looking forward to going back.

I saw this spot after having dinner in the area. I decided to stop by with friends. The bouncer at the door was very nice. No cover charge (Saturday 6:30ish). They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have TV's in case you want to catch a game. It's open seating first come first serve with QR code menus at the table. Cons: messy bathrooms and no cognac. Pros: staff is nice, drinks are reasonably priced, no cover charge.

Came here for some drinks as my friends and I were visiting from out of town. Decent beer selection. Seating was limited so we had to wait for a table. Bartenders and staff were friendly. The pizza? Amazing. Get the Cacio e Pepe, you won't regret it! All 4 of us loved it!!

Happy Hour!

A friend met up with me in Hollywood and she wasn't familiar with the bar/lounge scene. So I told her that we need to check out the places on the Cahuenga strip. The Elbow Room was packed because of a game so it was a fun time people watching. The door guy have a cool east coast vibe and they are awesome! "Been here before?Get in here!" Is a great order from them. My friend & I were both excited that happy hour went to 8pm. She was extra excited that frosé was a happy hour item. You order with the bartender and they give you a number to place wherever you're sitting. The bartenders are awesome, fast and have their own special style. The kitchen is encased in glass so you can see the deicious pizzas and the cooks working hard. We went out to the back patio where there's tons of high top tables and chairs. There even a chill back-back patio with little lights for ambiance. We ordered flatbreads. The food runner dropped off circular metal plates, crushed red peppers and some parmesan cheese. The delicious flatbreads came on wooden chopping boards! Afterwards we went back into the bar. Ordered two more drinks. Mine was an Elbow Mule.

Really solid pizza -- they offer it by the slice or as a whole pie (if you have multiple people in your party, the whole pie is a much better value). I thought the crust was perfectly cooked and would love to come back to try other flavors of pizza. The inside of the restaurant is super casual, but kept very clean. They have a full bar, and you have to order and food/drink at the bar -- there aren't waiters to take orders, so don't sit around waiting for table service like we did.

Small bar with an appeal. The place was crowded and lively! They have pizza and other food, as well as drinks of course. The pizza was large and deliciously amazing! So good.... On the middle of Cahuenga in a busy block. There was even a patron with his large dog inside. The people were real friendly and welcoming. We met a couple from Australia. They even offered to share their food with us. Their flatbread pizza looked great. We were on our way next door and will be back here soon. Parking in the area goes from $20-$40. It's one of the liveliest parts of Hollywood.

THIS BAR IS THE VIBE! Late night pizza, 2000s pop/punk/alt music, sports on the screens, and enough seating for everyone. Basically my habitat. They sell pizza by the slice or full 20" pie! It was very very good and huge. I had two slices and was in a food coma. There is bar seating, table seating, and also an outdoor patio. For a spot on such a busy nightlife street in Hwood, it was so inviting and chill. Will be back!

Pesto Flat Bread is the way to go! The wings had great flavor. Took a minute for the pizza to come out, but it was pretty good. The bar was on and poppin and the Bartender there knew his stuff.

Elbow Room on Cahuenga Blvd is hands down the best sports bar in Hollywood. The atmosphere is always fun and energetic, especially on game days. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really makes the experience even better. The food is always fresh and made to order. you can tell they care about quality. They also have a great variety of cocktails and frozen drinks, plus delicious pizza and tasty bites that are perfect for sharing while watching a game. If you're looking for a top-notch sports bar in the area with great service, great food, and great vibes, Elbow Room is the place to be. Highly recommend

Pepperoni flatbread pizza. A meal for one or a good share for two.

Our group waited close to…read moretwo hours before getting in but we also planned in advance to get there early and wait so that we would be able to get it. Could communication have been better? Absolutely. I think more frequent updates about wait times and capacity would have helped manage expectations. That said, once we got inside, we honestly had a great time. The atmosphere was fun, the energy was amazing, and it was clear that the staff was working incredibly hard. They were dealing with a crowd that seemed much larger than anyone anticipated, and despite being understaffed, everyone we interacted with remained professional and friendly. I also think it's important to be realistic about the situation. There were people lined up far down the street, and just looking at the size of the restaurant, it was obvious that there was no way everyone would be able to get in. It was an extremely popular event, and the demand simply exceeded the venue's capacity. I completely understand why some people left feeling frustrated, especially if they waited and didn't get in. At the same time, I don't think the staff deserved the level of criticism they've been receiving. From what I saw, they were doing their best in a difficult situation and trying to accommodate as many people as possible. For our group, the wait ended up being worth it. We had a great time cheering on Korea, enjoyed the food and drinks, and made some fun memories with friends. No event is perfect, especially with a huge crowd. We had a good time and will be back

I arrived at 3:30 p.m. for a 6:00 p.m. World Cup match after being told by the establishment a week…read moreearlier that seating was first-come, first-served and that arriving before 4:00 p.m. would not be a problem. When I arrived, there were only about 15-20 people ahead of me in line. As the afternoon progressed, the line stretched down the street, yet no staff member came outside to communicate capacity limits, seating availability, or where the line should reasonably end. Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I don't otherwise go to sports bars, and Biergarten isn't exactly a sports bar anyway, but it's an extremely happy place for an L.A. World Cup Korea Mexico hugfest experience. I'm a fan of Biergarten in general, too. It's a great place to drink, easy if you're not trying to catch a literal World Cup game, with friendly service and a comfortable, unpretentious K-Town gatsropub atmosphere. The place has been around for a long time, now, as have I, and I appreciate having it in the neighborhood. Food is solid, I just had some of the chicken wings and kalbi poutine as I watched Korea's inglorious defeat and Mexico's rousing victory, and there's plenty of beer and soju on the menu. I think I had my first Delirium Tremens here many years ago, and I spent the other night drinking soju and the house Biergarten lager, a nice, refreshing beer you can order by the pitcher. Now, I was just a man looking for a sports bar to watch my team win, wasn't expecting much. So, I was pleasantly surprised when met with not only awesome fellow fans but also a kick-ass service team. That bar was so busy given the season and that was of expectation, but I watched the bartenders specifically handle it like a cake walk and even better, my drinks were FANTASTIC. From the Espresso Martini that got my not-so-young self through the night, to the Carajillo--those were elite cocktails and I had low hopes honestly. At the very least they could offer an option between tallow and oil like another fave spot we frequent, Edendale. Just a thought! Yes they still have a vegan burger and a vegan burrito. But besides those and a salad, that's about it now. Our dog still eats very well thanks to their pup menu. So cheers to that at least. But removing so many options for plant-based eating has really bummed us out. EVERYONE can eat plant-based... so having more options then taking them away feels to me/us so weirdly biased and antiquated. Btw seed oils are not our enemy.
