Jones has the most New York City vibe of any restaurant or bar in LA. There's never a quiet or dull night and that makes the experience so much fun! When the bar is too packed my husband and I will find ourselves on the couches meeting new people, which is super fun. We go to Jones every week and are sure to get there as close to opening (7pm) so we can sit at the bar and catch up with our favorite bartender, Matt, who has our orders memorized. The entire bar staff is darling and makes every visit feel welcoming. As a Jersey girl this spot really hits the perfect red sauce nostalgia points for me. The pomodoro is *chef kiss*. Always piping hot but with pasta that is never overcooked! The fact that they serve food so late is incredible. the restaurant has some of the worst humans imaginable working there. i came in after ordering a pizza to-go, and the way that EVERYONE dismissed me because i wasn't going to be staying there, they just wanted me out as soon as possible. there was no comfortable place to stand inside and wait for my food (it was RAINING, by the way, so i didn't want to wait outside), and I was left to stand - painfully awkward - near the restrooms and the kitchen, until some woman (beautiful) but a total 'c u next tuesday' with long wavy brown hair allowed me to take my food and sign my receipt. I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK AGAIN. How do you expect take-out business if you make customers ordering take-out feel like the most unwanted humans on the planet in your establishment? Jones is your classic Italian affair and is a new favorite spot for me. The portions are sizable and great for sharing with friends and family. I came with a group of 4 and we got the Calamari for an appetizer and then shared 2 pizzas and a pasta together. Of the pizzas I recommend the White pizza which has garlic and truffle oil (yummm). I also really liked the Rigatoni Carbonara pasta. Usually you don't think of rigatoni with carbonara but it works and I liked that the sauce was rich and creamy. We also got a Brownie for dessert which was super decadent and had a very generous scoop of ice cream on top. I suggest you also make a reservation in advance because as soon as they open at night there was already a line out front. He was avery chill dude but also very considerate and mindful on what I ordered. I enjoyed all of his recommendations and the govt mule SMACKED for someone who doesn't like alcohol. The pizza sauce was great but crust was lacking, we ordered the Farro salad you can SKIP this. It had no flavor. Their fries were delicious & the burrata was good. I would give it a 3.5/5. Ambience is definitely there. Even for a Tuesday. Seating capacity is well laid out with the bar in the center in the lounge area surrounding it. The food was delicious. The short ribs were tender and tasty. Pizza was tasty and the crush was just right and spaghetti and meatballs are the classic dish list place which were outstanding. The sauce was delicious as well. Haven't been here since before the pandemic so I was looking forward to returning. Met a friend here on a late Sunday evening for a bite to eat and some beers. We arrived a little after 11p and it wasn't crowded. We found a couple of seats above the bar that overlooks the dimly lit dining room. We agreed on sharing a BBQ Chicken Pizza and we each had a couple of beers. My beers were non-alcoholic and I appreciate they had that option. The pizza arrived quickly and was served very warm. It was very flavorful with the right amount of BBQ sauce for our liking. We wished there was more chicken on the pizza. There wasn't much on this thin crust pie. After finishing our pizza we had a couple of beers and enjoyed the people watching. The service was okay as we had to call over the bartender whenever we wanted to reorder. He was hanging out and talking with other customers the entire time we were there. He wasn't rude, but he also wasn't attentive. At least not to us. I've been here several times before and always had a great experience. Good comfort food with friendly and attentive service. Tonight was a little off, but it didn't ruin the evening. Big shout out to the doormen that evening. Very friendly and gracious in their welcoming us to Jones. The same experience when we left for the evening. Very nice touch as not all doormen in LA are friendly. Open late every evening. Street parking is usually easy to find. No valet on the Sunday night we were there. read more

The design of the place is old, leather-, wood- style interior. Great taste. Feels like an actual whole in the wall as you can barely find an entrance door. Hidden unless you are looking for it. Price point was great - we came with the family of four - it came down to 160$ I think. For this quality of the service, food, location and such a vibe - great price. We got 2 deserts, 2 pastas, 1 pizza, ginger beer and I think plain water. Ohh, as far as I remember they ask you for what type of water you want - if you choose tap water - only then will it be free. We were craving Italian food after a concert and showed up around 11PM. We were met by the security guard with the beard at the door who told it would be an approximately 45 min wait, which wasn't surprising to us on a Friday night with only some places still open. He was super nice joking with us and openining the doors for us and making sure we didn't trip. I noticed he was checking on guests leaving and making sure they got into the correct Ubers and opening the car doors for them as well. After the wait, which was pretty accurately 45 mins, we were seated and helped relatively quickly. For a late night bite, honestly everything was pretty good. BBQ Chicken Pizza: 10/10; I love that it was thin crust but not floppy. It was pretty crispy and flavorful, but the bbq flavor wasn't too overwhelming. Spaghetti and meatballs: 9/10; I was surprised it came out in a skillet but the meat sauce was good and the spaghetti was cooked just right. My friend had been craving meatballs and she was a fan. Wood Roasted Veggies: 10/10; Honestly I wasn't expecting to like this that much but each of the veggies had a lot of flavor. This season had carrots (my fav), brussel sprouts, beets, and mushrooms. Apple Pie for 2: 7/10; This definitely was PACKED with apples and was definitely more filling than crust. We actually really likes the crust and kind of wished there was a bit more of it. The apple wasn't too sweet, I'd say it actually leaned a bit tart. It was pretty good paired with the ice cream though. The place is dimly lit and the noise level is definitely loud but we were still able to hear each other talk. The decor inside was fun as well. Staff were super nice and our server was attentive. Just a fun happening scene in West Hollywood... and the food is great. We went around 7:00 on a Thursday after taking our teen shopping - the place was packed and buzzing by 7:30 and everyone had a great time. Service was fast and so nice. I haven't been here in years and i personally enjoyed the vibe, the music and the decor. not a place to take your average dad to though. the steamed artichoke was plain, which is normal... and hence too expensive i think. the farrow salad was not possible to amend the ingredients in, so i couldn't get it. the pesto ravioli was very good. highly recommend. my dad was not stoked about any of the food, but for the prices not being sky high, he was content. prosciutto and grilled ahi tuna. read more

We had the most amazing dinner at Jones on Saturday night. First off, I must say I was a bit put off by the no valet, no Apple Pay, and they only will hold your table for 15 minutes rules! But now I understand. No valet-yes because there is nowhere to park. We found a spot on the street and there is a lot on Formosa behind Formosa Cafe. The Apple Pay thing I still don't get, but hey we all have multiple credit cards so we had to make it work. The 15 minute rule is commonplace but we live in the Marina and it took us over an hour to get to WeHo on a Saturday night. The restaurant is packed and not huge, so I do get the 15 minutes rule, but I think you can call and tell the restaurant you'll be there...just stuck in traffic. Anyway, we started with cocktails followed by the White Pizza which was amazing! We followed up with the house bread, Steak and Artichoke Salad, Chopped Salad, Linguini and Clams and the over-the-top Old Style Spaghetti and Meatballs. For dessert we enjoyed the tiramisu. The restaurant reminds me of Dan Tana's little brother. Food was delicious. We were packed in like sardines and the noise level is beyond. But we came for the food and it exceeded our expectations. Jones is a very classic Italian joint complete with the red and white checkered table cloths, large booths, dim lighting, no windows, and an old school NYC feeling. Very happening bar too! Crowded and young scene. The food is nothing fancy but good old-fashioned comfort food and I just love the ambiance. It's super cute and romantic for date night or a night out with friends. We ordered the spinach ravioli with ricotta in a creamy pesto sauce. It was good but small. Next time I'm not sharing! We also ordered the wood roasted seasonal vegetables. They were cooked to perfection and very tasty. I like that we could have something on the lighter side to accompany the heavier dishes of pizza and pasta. Lastly, we split a Margherita pizza for the table. It was a classic thin crust pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil but I felt it was a little too salty for me. It was just okay. Love that Jones is open late night and they even have a late night happy hour. Always good to know a place to go when everything else is closed. There's street parking. Not sure if they have valet. It gets very busy on the weekends, so be aware of this. Jones is unusual in that they serve their full menu until 2 AM every night. And it's good food, not your typical bar grub. Staff has been there for decades so they often have a debilitated, non-engaging feel about them but they're nice when it comes to quickly ordering. Love the energy of this place. It's intimate and the crowds are diverse, you can always find someone to talk to, probably not the bartenders though. Go here pretty often since it's my neighborhood bar, so just know it gets pretty busy in the evenings, more so Thursday - Sunday. Expect to wait quite a bit for your drink, be overseen and drinks piling on the high top. Also probably will need to stand if you don't have a table. Bartenders are typical LA douches. They make you wait 15 or 20 minutes when you're sitting right in front of them, then give you attitude for even ordering a drink. They white guy with the brown hair is the worst. He literally told a customer who was waiting that he "was lucky I even came over to you" after he repeatedly tried to get his attention to order. The interior has a nice cozy speakeasy vibes mixed with an Italian flare The place only opens at night 7pm and heres the food deets: BBQ chicken pizza: BBQ chicken pizza aficionado here, I always got a soft spot for it and use it as litmus test for new places. I can't tell if normal thin crust is like this but it felt too thin and tough to what I was expecting. I'd like a bit more BBQ sauce and some toppings make it stand out more. Probably also it was a cold night and the pizza was thin, but it cooled pretty quickly Jone's famous Apple pie: boy does it live up to it's name. Came to our table with warm gooey apple filling, the pie crust was flavourful and sweet, not too sweet. I would come back for this again Surprisingly, this place does reservations too which a lot of folks ahead of us did, though not necessary. You would need to wait a bit if it's not too packed. Came here for a late-night bite around midnight and it did not disappoint! We ordered the linguine with clams, salmon, white pizza, and the kale caesar salad. Everything was so good, but the linguine was the star, absolutely packed with clams. Most places only give you a few, but here every forkful had juicy, briny clams mixed with pasta that was perfectly al dente. The sauce had that garlicky, white-wine richness that made it impossible to stop eating. The salmon was tender and flaky with a light seasoning that let the fish shine. The white pizza was comforting and flavorful, gooey mozzarella with a garlicky creaminess, balanced by a nice crisp on the crust. And the kale caesar was fresh and hearty, with just the right amount of tangy dressing to complement the richness of the other dishes. Jones really nailed the late-night cravings!! read more

Started off rocky after calling an hour and a half before our reservation to request pushing back our reservation after witnessing a car accident on the 405. Not possible but we were assured our table would be held as long as we left by 9. We got there 17 minutes past the reservation to be told a not wasnt left by the staff who answered the phone. By some miracle we were only seated after 40 minutes. Staff handled it to the best of their ability, which thankfully wasnt accusatory or rude. This was one of the most frustrating and off-putting experiences I've had simply trying to make a reservation. I have attempted several times, phone calls and walking in and had been instructed to call at 11:30am to make reservations when the day manager would be available to book a table. I followed those instructions only to be met with a dismissive and unprofessional tone that made it clear my call was not welcome. There was no attempt to assist, no courtesy, and was asked to be put on hold twice. On a previous visit, I was told by the host that they do not answer the phone while they are open. So as a customer, you are given directions and then treated poorly when you try to comply with them. You would think they are a Michelin star rated or The French Laundry; however those restaurants actually treat you like they value you. This is not about difficulty getting a table--it's about a lack of basic professionalism and respect toward customers. There is an apparent culture of indifference here that reflects poorly on management and the overall operation. There are many restaurants in Los Angeles that value their guests and handle reservations in a clear and respectful way. Based on this experience, I will not be returning or recommending this establishment. read more

The atmosphere of the restaurant is so calm and aesthetic and they play nice mood music. The server was super nice and attentive, he saw that I did not like my lemonade or the bruschetta and tried his best to resolve the issue. The bruschetta was not good because it is not traditional Italian bruschetta, I would think for an Italian restaurant that they would make it traditionally. It is just cut up tomatoes on dry bread. It was the least exciting thing on our table. But the spicy sausage pizza and the ravioli appetizer were to die for! spicy pizza has sweet onions on it. That really took it to the top! After being a regular at Jones for 8 years, our visit on November 25, 2025 was extremely uncomfortable. The host Sage met us with hostility whether we wanted a booth or the bar. He then told us we couldn't sit at the booth for a party of three unless each person ordered an entrée, which we said we would happily do. Before seating us or offering menus, he demanded to know our order, despite one person in our group never having been to Jones before. He insisted we name exact entrées to be seated without menus! His rude, unwelcoming behavior forced us to leave, and he followed us out. The manager Cody, dismissed our concerns without apology. As the only Asian party in the restaurant at the time, the treatment felt concerning. We've never experienced anything like this here, and even Swingers under the same ownership, has never shown hostility. read more
