33 Taps was absolutely live last night! I am a New York native so needless to say, I'm a Knicks fan and I'm used to fantastic service--whether that be at a Michelin restaurant or at a bar. I've lived in LA for some time now and never made my way much to Silverlake and unfortunately not to 33 Taps until last night when I heard this was the go-to Knicks bar. I was NOT disappointed. Now, I was just a man looking for a sports bar to watch my team win, wasn't expecting much. So, I was pleasantly surprised when met with not only awesome fellow fans but also a kick-ass service team. That bar was so busy given the season and that was of expectation, but I watched the bartenders specifically handle it like a cake walk and even better, my drinks were FANTASTIC. From the Espresso Martini that got my not-so-young self through the night, to the Carajillo--those were elite cocktails and I had low hopes honestly. But, if they could impress me enough on an NBA Finals night to make a review, I can't imagine what a regular service day is like. GO TO 33 TAPS!! read more

Been coming here for years and now everything is apparently fried in beef tallow? It's a bummer because a significant portion of the menu is fried and I don't eat meat. Service and atmosphere remain good but I probably won't be coming back for a while because of the tallow situation which really limits what I can order. read more

I love cosplaying as an elder millennial at this straight sports bar bc they have bingo, happy hour, and sports BUT, Beef tallow ???? Why would you put on that on cauliflower wings? Located 15-20 minutes from Dodgers Stadium my friend and I decided on eating at 33 Taps, as we had time to kill and we were hungry. Interior was dim, air conditioned (perfect to offset the heat lately) and had TV's all around the restaurant (various sporting events). Indoor and outdoor seating available. Restaurant was moderately busy for a Saturday afternoon. Self-seating here and order from a QR code on the table. Service delivering my food, was direct. Ordered the Classic Cheeseburger $17: grass fed waygu beef, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and 33 island sauce on a brioche bun. I chose garlic and cajun fries -oily, shoestring style, was decent. Parking around Silverlake is always a bit of a challenge, so prepare mentally for it. read more

It was lively last night. We happened to walk by and decided to stop off for a drink and a little snack before dinner. It's a pretty cool vibe with outdoor seating that's along the blvd as well as inside. It's pet friendly so there were some little pups near us. There's loads of heat lamps for the cold chilly night. You seat yourself wherever there's an open table. I guess as college football was on inside it brought people out to watch it. Hence the crowd inside. But on the patio, they had the UFC fight on. There's 2 big flatscreen with the fight on on both sides of the place. QR code on each table to order to make it easier. Place your order for drinks and food and it'll be delivered. Drinks came out pretty fast and then our snack. Opted for the bahn mi fries. Shoestring fries topped with a sweet chili sauce, pickled veggies, vegan chili aioli and if whatever choice of protein additional. A nice snack that went well with a beer. Service was ok even though we didn't have any contact with anyone besides when they dropped off drinks and fries. I remember having a meal which happened to be a day they had bingo. Pet-friendly and a Dodgers fan club bar, what more could you ask for? They consistently deliver great quality food and an excellent happy hour menu. The house IPA pitcher during happy hour is always my go to. This is easily the best location among the 33 taps restaurants; the Culver City spot is far more expensive and disorganized by comparison. I especially love stopping by when I'm in Echo Park before a Dodgers game, their happy hour is the go to because inside the ballpark drinks can be pricey. The ambiance is always lively and fun, with regular events like bingo nights, LGBTQ+ show viewings like rupaul drag, and sports viewings like the dodger game or soccer games. Ive visited countless times, most memorably for me are the Dodgers games, drag bingo and watch parties, and an Angel City Women's Soccer Club meet and greet. 33 Taps - Silver Lake, you aren't half bad at all - located on Sunset Blvd/ Lucile Ave From the chic patio that also extends to the neighborhood off the sidewalk with flat screen and cool picnic table setups to the inside bar, tall cafeteria style, tall table seating, and lower/standard table seating. The menu is fresh gastropub with a wide range of savory eats and shareables. I was a little disappointed that their water refill station has no ice and is room temp, especially on super humid day. We weren't offered any ice at all though our server was pretty friendly and had some solid suggestions. Soft beverages don't come with free refills so we ended up using the ice from these to refill our waters. It's almost entirely self serve with all utensils + condiments at your table and easy QR code menus. They do have physical menus available. I've been to other 33 Taps, including the one in West Hollywood and also the one in DTLA, which I really enjoy. Service and flow is very different there. One cool thing is you can order food and drinks all from your phone and they'll keep it coming until you're ready to close out your order. Being in Silver Lake parking is wherever you can find it. They do have a shared plaza lot, it's not usually completely full, but sometimes can be. I've gotten lucky at night once. This time we had parked near The Black Cat and Rough Trade Gear so we decided to walk over. The staff is friendly as well as helpful and the food is pretty okay, though I wasn't blown away by my burrito (vegan), felt like it was over loaded with rice, though it was enjoyable enough. The side salad that comes with was actually simple and amazing. Portions are nice and filling. Definitely a fan of their chips & salsa. Solid vegan friendly and vegetarian options. It was so warm outside I thought it be ice cool inside but the back draft from comings and goings made it muggy with hints of AC. Good spot for lunch, dinner, earlier meals and happy hour as well as enjoying a variety of sporting events on one of their dozen flat screens space perfectly throughout. Restrooms are clean. Pup friendly patio. And open to all. Couldn't access their Wi-Fi, might have been a me issue. Love that they offer military discounts to our vets and troops. They serve brunch everyday until 3 pm. Taco Tuesday specials are served all day. Brunch/breakfast selection is smaller, but they have the essential with pancakes, waffles, breakfast plates, chilaquiles and more. Great spot that I have frequented probably a dozen+ times, but they now cook 100% of their menu in beef tallow. Many of my friends are vegan and now cannot eat at 33 Taps, even for formerly vegan menu items like cauliflower wings. Even the chips aren't vegan! The waiters were rude, dismissive, and were openly mocking customers, not just at our table but nearby ones too. I may return to watch a game and have a couple beers but I wouldn't order food again. First of all, I don't like having to order and prepay on Toast and feel obligated to leave a tip in advance just so my food doesn't get messed with. Also, the forks in the dispenser were mostly grimy - it was difficult to find a clean one - and the plastic cups were old and gross. You REALLY should think about replacing those. The mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings were mediocre but edible. The pizza, on the other hand... absolutely revolting. I can't remember the last time I had pizza that tasted that awful. Taps33 is a fun place to be. I had heard on the news fans of the Spurs were gathering there so I went there before a Dodger game. The place is cool looking. Long dining tables and multiple high definition screens fill the space. All your favorite sports are broadcast. Menu and food ordering is on-line. I just first want to say that the service is always fantastic. The staff there are amazing and I know each and every one of them, including security by their names. I am a neighbor who lives right up the street. The happy hour is also fantastic. That said, the recent change to cook everything in beef fat is absolutely insane. You have made sure that 100% of your menu is unavailable to anyone who is vegetarian or vegan. It's a step into the past and in the wrong direction. Our planet is suffering and the use of even MORE animal products is not only an insult to your customer base, but a terrible decision for the planet. I used to eat at 33 taps two or three times a week minimum. Well, you made sure that is 100% not an option anymore. Why would you make such a decision? Please, think about your customers and your planet first. These diet fads always come and go and no, seed oil is not bad for you. You have forced me to make a trace to go somewhere else. Nachos with pickled onions and the jalapeños are a hit! So big and shareable. It's paperless here so you order online and they bring out the food within 15 min. Quick and fresh! It was piping hot when I got it I've been to the Culver City one and this one is just as cool! Only thing is the parking is really bad in both locations. *not about service about beef tallow change* I want to start by saying that everyone who works here rocks and the vibes are great. I don't wanna leave a bad review but I am doing so in hopes of change happening... I have been coming here since I moved to the neighborhood in 2022. Like a true regular with all my friends, I absolutely love 33 for the last 4 years. However, I haven't been back (neither have my friends) since a few weeks ago when I was surprised to find the vegan burger went up in price by a few dollars, yet lost the side of fries (only offers a silly side salad)??? My other plant-based friend noticed the vegan burrito doesn't have a side anymore either (used to come with chips and salsa). Found out EVERYTHING is cooked in tallow now.... Fries, chips, cauliflower wings. How can you make the vegan burger more expensive yet it doesn't come with fries, don't think your customers would notice? Horrible horrible move. The server was so awesome to us when we asked about it, I even heard another table of strangers being upset about it and leaving which was so validating. Being in LA and having vegan food options at bars is wonderful and it truly automatically draws me and so many of my other friends in. I'm extremely disappointed about this change. It excludes an entire group of people and it's fine if you don't care about vegans, but honestly I think if you guys care about BUSINESS, then you should reverse this change as you're losing money off this. Stopped by during a weekday afternoon to have a few drinks with a friend. The customer service here was subpar. The wait staff was not attentive at all. They never check in to see if we needed anything, even though this place is set up as more of a restaurant than a bar. They have barcodes on the table for you to scan to place your order. I ordered the turkey burger and fries, along with a few beers and a margarita. The burger and fries were average at best. I expected more for the price. The drink were good though. I ended up being there past 3 and got the happy hour price for the margarita. There's a parking lot but parking was limited as it's shared with the other businesses. Well, I'm sorry to say that my first experience will be my last at this Silverlake restaurant and bar. I didn't see one table in there that had been wiped down. All of them had sticky spots or food crumbs on them. As I was sitting there, one of the waitresses was cleaning the silverware caddies by just putting all the clean silverware on the dirty tables and taking the caddy to the bar where I assume they would clean them afterwards. Even though the manager passed me 3 times, no one except the security officer said hello to me while I was there. I even had to go to the bar to ask for a glass of water. The burger and fries I received was decent, but definitely not worth $21 with the above mentioned problems. I especially was disturbed at my bill when I saw they added $1 more for a sauce for my fries. The bartender asked if I wanted a sauce, but he never told me there was a charge. Read your bill people. This has made the once extensive vegetarian and vegan friendly menu completely inaccessible to these with dietary restrictions. I've been coming to this bar for years for its wonderful weekly trivia. The staff is incredible, there is a fantastic happy hour, and there used to be an inventive menu with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in addition to traditional bar food. But the introduction to beef tallow is seriously disappointing. Means anytime I come here, as a vegan, I can't eat ANYTHING. It was time to watch my Toronto Maple Leafs get absolutely demolished and eliminated from the playoffs, so my friend thought 33 Taps in Silver Lake would be a great place to watch that happen. Fair warning from the start, this is an extremely busy area and parking sucks, but you can't knock a place for being successful and in a good area. We came here around 4PM on a Sunday and the place was absolutely packed! The Dodgers were playing, the Leafs were playing, the Lakers were playing, and LAFC were all on within a few hours so the place was at max capacity, luckily we were able to snag four seats and spend a few hours here. It was my first time ever coming to 33 Taps and I liked the atmosphere from the get go! The staff was great, TVs everywhere, and bar/pub menu gave you lots of options of things to stuff yourself with. My wife and I decided to split the Classic Cheeseburger, the Mozzarella sticks, and an order of the Traditional buffalo wings! Let's talk about it. Classic Cheeseburger- I'll be honest, it's a solid burger but it's a pretty basic burger. It tasted good, was a solid size, and did the job. Mozzarella sticks- I think these might have been the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. They weren't overly crunchy which I like, and the marinara sauce we had to dip was top notch as well, Will absolutely be getting these bad boys in the future. Buffalo Wings- solid, standard Buffalo wings. They were on the meaty side and very enjoyable, no complaints. Churro Waffle- my friend also ordered this for the table and I was lucky enough to enjoy a quarter of it. The ice cream was good, the churro waffle was good, and it was a really tasty treat to top the meal off. Overall, 33 Taps is getting five stars from me. I used to come here fairly often. It was never my favorite place, but it was close to my house, so it was convenient. This all started because I stopped on the public sidewalk for a few minutes to watch the end of the USA World Cup match. I stayed calm and respectful the entire time. Still, the owner and security guard repeatedly entered my personal space and touched me unnecessarily. The owner even wiped his hands on my shirt, which I found completely inappropriate.
