Ms Le, the owner, is really friendly & helpful. She expedited my order of a total of 5 pairs of hemmed pants for a next day service pick-up at 2PM. I like that! It was a bit of a wait dropping off the pants though. The place seemed quite busy. I have no complaints with their workmanship either. The hems were nicely done with matching threads. It's a small place, but great down to earth service. Make sure you bring you shoes that you are going to wear so you can get the perfect fit. Prior to attending the Yelp Ball, I was looking for a spot to get my leopard gown altered and I remembered my girls got their bridesmaids dresses altered here for super cheap. After the nice lady pinned my gown in the areas that needed to be altered, she carefully took my gown to the back. For the low cost of $18, I got my awesome leopard gown altered. I have been coming to Eldo Tailoring for a few years now. I took my wedding ceremony dress in December and the end result exceeded my expectations. I bought the dress online from an Australian designer not knowing how it was going to fit. When I took it in and tried it on for the first time I left so disappointed because I had this vision of how I was going to look in that dress and the vision didn't happen but Trang did it! She fulfilled my vision! I cried when I put it on and for the first time I felt like a bride. I took my second dress, which was my reception dress that I bought at David Bridals, I got it altered there because it was going to arrive there and it was one last thing for me to worry about. David's Bridal did such horrible job on the alterations, it looked better on me before the alterations. The cost of the alterations at David's Bridal were almost the cost of the dress I bought. I ended up taking the reception dress to Trang and right away she saw the bad job they did. I should have taken the David's bridal dress to Eldo from the beginning. I randomly found her from a Yelp search and fought why such a small shop upon my for at visit. 3 yrs later she has been such a great find as I haven't gone anywhere else for these services and her prices are unbeatable and she will work to make any deadline you request. On top of that the service is amazing as I'm a male with a football player build and have extra room I the thighs and butt area. Amazing & quick job! The lady (I think the owner) was very kind and nice to me when I went to this place. Nov 17th was my 1st wedding anniversary and I called her nov16th evening asking her to alter the gown per my size and trim the length per my height. I explained to her that i wud need it by Nov 17th morning 10 am. she agreed! so i rushed her, she took her time to take accurate measurements and did an excellent job on my gown, my gown is very expensive (from Trudy's) and she ensured that the gown was safe and the job was done right. I recommend these sweet ladies to everyone who needs something fixed. I brought my wedding gown in on a rainy day and the lady that helped me, I believe her name is Tran, rushed to get me paper towels to dry myself off, and also got down on her knees and wiped all the water off the floor so I wouldn't get my dress dirty when I tried it on. She did an out standing job for an amazing price. The only thing I didn't so much like was that it was never done on the dates they told me to come in, they rescheduled with me every time. My boyfriend showed me this place and he always fixes his jeans here. They always do a good job for him, but for me, they aren't done any great work. They ruined 2 my jackets, 1 dress ( I asked them to dry clean those, NOT laundry, but they did a opposite way) , forgot to fix my dress ( I have to come back like 3 times in 1 week, they still haven't done it yet, just a simple dress, nothing complicated). I came her a week before prom to get my dress hemmed. Fitting took a lot less time than I anticipated, and I asked to have the dress done by Friday, the day before prom. Came on Friday and the dress was done! It was hemmed perfectly, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Only problem I'd say is the location, as parking is pretty much impossible-- both times I went, I parked on a nearby neighborhood road and walked over. My new tailor. I went here only in a pinch due to proximity to work. The owner was awesome, I went in on a Friday told her I need my suit tailored and needed it ready by Saturday evening. I had an early flight to Chicago for an important meeting and was desperate. She agreed and had me try it on and and made some suggestions on not just changing the length but also the cut. Their prices are amazingly low and clothes came out just how I wanted it. I brought in three medical pants to be made shorter and skinnier. The owner listened to what I wanted it to look like and showed me different options on how she can alter my pants until I was satisfied with the fit. I needed it the next day. I took my hockey jersey here after the hem in both sleeves were falling out. No other place would take this job. Not even HP pavilion nor Ducummon's Sporting Goods. HP pavilion led me nowhere while Ducummon's did tell me that I needed to find a place that did a cross stitch which would continue to let the sleeve be stretchy versus a straight stitch which is rigid in length. The woman behind the counter looked at the sleeves, asked what I wanted done, and priced me out at $6 for a full re-stitch on one sleeve and a partial repair on the other. I specifically said that I needed the stitch to be exactly like how the stitch was currently (cross stitch). She said no problem and asked when I needed it completed to which I replied with the following Thursday, she gave me a pickup date of the following Wednesday. I came back the following Wednesday apprehensive since no official hockey sales would take this repair and Eldo was just a random tailor with good reviews on yelp and no specific experience with hockey jersey stitching let alone repairing one. I was pleasantly surprised when she brought me the jersey and the sleeves looked like they were brand new. The new replacement hem does have a thinner thread compared to the repaired hem on the other sleeve, but it looks perfect otherwise. Well worth the price. I will be bringing all my repair work here from no onward. A side note: parking is non existent immediately near the location but you can just park a block or so away in a residential area. read more
