Over 1 year of hemmed pants and I'm still so disappointed. 2 of my most expensive pairs are now ruined because they show my ankles when I walk. When she hems you she makes you take off your shoes (now that I think about it I should've walked out of there as soon as they made me do that). If you decide to tailor with them make sure YOU SHOW THEM WHAT YOU WANT, don't let them do what they want bc that's probably their style of pants, to the ankles smh. Now I'm more uncomfortable and regret coming in here + I was charged extra for aritzia wide pants? That was ridiculous. I saw another review talking about prices changes and that's exactly what happened. Mind you I had to cut their work to make these pants longer... that's absurd read more

Amazing service. I came here from Yelp reviews, looking for a place to both do dry cleaning and also alterations for multiple dresses for my upcoming wedding event. Thu did an amazing job tailoring my unique dresses and at such a quick turnaround time with no extra charge. The price was very reasonable. When I tried on the dresses, they fit like a glove and looked as if they were made for me. I was so impressed I immediately told my family / wedding party to come here for any tailoring needs, and I have gone back for more dry cleaning. It is not close to me but I am happy to make the drive here (30 mins) as she has gained my trust / business 100% and I'm very excited I found such a gem! read more

LISTEN UP BAY AREA BRIDES OR BRIDESMAIDS: this is the tailor shop you NEED to work with, trust!! Here me out: if you live in the Bay Area, you know that everything is a cost. And as a bride on a budget, I bought my wedding dress second hand from a site called StillWhite. I took a gamble, and bought a dress 4X my size. I didn't do enough research on how much local tailoring would cost and didn't realize until after I had the dress that bridal tailors like David's Bridal & others would quote $1000+ to get it resized... I was so anxious about the cost that I ended up waiting literally a MONTH before my wedding until I decided to just keep the dress & reach out to A Plus Tailors. I came into this tailor shop on a budget and looking for a miracle... And let me tell you, Thu worked MAGIC. My dress was a size 16. I'm normally a size 4. The amount of work that she had to put in to make a dress 4X my size work for me.. It was a mermaid style fit and the straps, the cups, the bust, the waist, the hips, about EVERYTHING needed to be modified. AND on top of the fact that she only had a month to work on it... when I tried it on for the first fitting, I was shocked - I could not believe how beautiful it came out to be!! This is by far the best dry cleaner I've ever had and an exceptional alterations seamstress. The service is fast, affordable and friendly. The clothes come back nicely pressed and smelling great. The alterations are good and fairly priced. They are willing to accommodate and pay attention to the costumers' requests regarding the alterations. They can also do reweaving to repair moth damage or holes on garments at a terrific price with the repair being hardly noticeable. I highly recommend this dry cleaner. When I received my dry-cleaning attires, I noticed that there were stains on my wife's dress and top. One of the beads fell off and there were other noticeable stains. It seems like they did not do their jobs and I paid $60 dollars for nothing. I had high hopes for this place, but it looks like they lost a customer. Their quality of drying cleaning is not good at all. I would not recommend this place for dry cleaning. I am totally disappointed. Not returning ever! read more

Found this place through Yelp and I'm glad I went because I was in desperate need of getting my trousers hemmed. The lady was nice and she let me try on my trousers to show her how short I want them to be. I'm also glad she asked me if I'm going to be wearing flats or heels with them because I didn't even put that into account. She also tells you what day you can pick them up, which is just a few days for a hem. She did a seamless job (pun intended) on my trousers! Also for a great price of $10 and I gave her a tip too. If I ever need to get more pants hemmed, I will remember to come back. read more

I'm so glad I found an alteration and dry cleaning place down the street from my house. The location is very convenient for me. Parking is a breeze since it's located in a plaza. The women who works here are very friendly and knows what they're doing. The woman that did my alteration took her time to ask what I wanted to do with my cargo pants. I didn't need my dry cleaned clothes back right away so I told her to just take her time. She said to come back in 3 days. Came back to pick up my dry cleaned clothes and my altered cargos. The pick up was a breeze. The price is reasonable. I had 4 clothes dry cleaned and 1 cargo pants altered, came out to about $52 + tip. Totally worth getting my cargo pants altered here since it came out perfectly fitted, given it was super big on me. 10/10 recommend and will be back to get more clothes altered and dry cleaned here! read more

I found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint! I first came here with my favorite pair of jeans that started to rip at the seams and thin between the thighs. Thunder thighs problems, ugh. It was my jeans' last hope before landing in the trash AND THEY FIXED IT FOR $15. From the outside, you can't tell that it's been fixed at all. From the inside, it looks ugly, but I don't care because my favorite jeans are alive again!! The jeans felt hard to the touch at first because of the added layer, but it softened up after a wash and now I don't even notice it. The 2nd time I came here with jeans that had a huge waist gap and were too long. I was charged $20 for those two services together. I picked them up and you honestly can not tell that they have been altered in any way. The last alteration place I went to that fixed my waist completely ruined my jeans, so I was soooooo happy with their work. The turnaround time is quick. Both times, I dropped it off Tuesday and picked it up Friday. Thank you Yelp for allowing me to find this place because I love them so much!! read more

5 stars for the young lady. 0 star for the old, clueless lady. Hem of one leg of my dress pants was falling out and brought it in for repair. The young lady gave me a quote, which I agreed and paid to be picked up in couple of hours. She told me someone else would be there but she'd pass message. When I went to pick up the pants, I told the old lady who was there I was picking up my repaired pants which had been paid for. The old lady is probably young lady's mother or mother-in-law. She asked me how much I paid and I told her. She seemed to think the price I paid was too low and did not want to return the pants to me because I should have paid more. Hey old lady, the work is done and paid for. Don't try to turn back time and get back couple dollars! Stop being clueless. It puts a bad name for the business. read more

Thu did an AMAZING job altering my prom dress which needed to be taken down from a size 10 to 4/6. The price was great for such a complicated adjustment (a lot of beading on the gown) plus adjusting the hem to be shorter. Her service and work was amazing, the dress looked like it had been the original. Would definitely go here for alterations again, I highly recommend Thu! I am so happy to have found a dry cleaning and alterations place in my neighborhood, and I found them through word of mouth! I have gone to them a few times to have my wedding dress altered/hemmed and my bridal shower dress. I found a dress and ordered it a size larger that what I am, and then lost weight before my wedding day. The women who run the store are very nice and welcoming and were able to accentuate the curves of my body! The dress ended up fitting perfectly and I never worried about the dress being too big or slipping; it was tight, but not restricting and I was still able to move freely in my dress and not have to worry walking up and down the steps in SF City Hall. For the alterations of my wedding dress, it took about 3 weeks, and they called me to let me know when my dress was ready. When I went to have my bridal shower dress altered again, they called me earlier than expected to let me know the dress was complete. I would recommend coming here for alterations, and they even steamed my dress which was awesome. They were also upfront with the costs and it was very reasonable for all the alterations they did to both of my dresses. I'm happy with the service here and will be coming back more often for dry cleaning or quick hemming services. read more

She was amazing. She altered my jeans perfectly. I'm short so I had her fix the length and make them tighter on the bottom so they're more fitted. She even kept the bottom hem from original design so all of my jeans look original. Depending on how much she's doing to the pant it can cost anywhere from $8-$20. She's fast as well. Reasonable prices and high quality work! This is a busy shopping center but there is plenty of parking including a 5 min spot in front of cleaners. I brought in a designer cocktail dress for dry cleaning on a Monday afternoon and it was ready by end of day Wednesday for $7.00. They accept cash or card and were professional and courteous. It your business is to be the middle person for someone else's work, then I think customer service should be your top priority. Feels like they have lost their way here.

What I'd like to point out first, is that the super kind human who took our order was absolutely that: super kind. My partner and I felt good about our research and choice of NextGen, and the wire rack piled to the top with comforters, mattress pads and other bedding only furthered our confidence. Sadly, once we removed the bed from the bag, I felt confused that perhaps the wrong item had been picked up. It looked nearly identical to when we'd first brought it to NextGen, but with quite a few more strands of (different lengths) of hair stuck to it throughout. Secondly, almost every quilted square of the bed had faux filling bunched up in a variety of balls--I had originally purchased the square patterned bed to avoid this problem once cleaned. :( I wanted to bring my item back immediately, however, my health at the time did not allow it. I gave two stars for the kind atmosphere. P.s. I am attaching a very faded receipt, with the word, "wait" written at the top, because I felt it so important to write a review. Especially if it helps future costly mishaps occur.
