Our family went to this dental office for years. We followed Dr. Jerit Davis there. He is no longer practicing there and we have received questionable recommended treatment plans for a couple of different providers there. They have not maintained a website since prior to May 2025 and so it is difficult to even know what dentists are currently affiliated with them. read more

I went into Legacy West Dental having avoided the Dentist for years. The experience was great. Dr. Davis was very warm and understanding and explained everything clearly. I just had my teeth scaled by Christene and she did an amazing job. They feel so clean and refreshed. The office is immaculately designed. The pricing is fair. Her voice is very calming and the room we were in had a big, wonderful window in front of my seat so I could watch the clouds drift by. The staff and the Doctor were extremely helpful, friendly, and detailed. This was my first visit with them so they took a full range of x-rays of my teeth as well as photographs and did a cancer screening. Also had my teeth cleaned which was performed by the Doctor who does that with first time patients to get to know them better. They did not try to upsell me services, and in fact, recommended letting things alone for the time being that I assumed they would want to fix. I feel highly comfortable and confident with this practice and felt like they have the best interest of the patient as their first priority. read more

I had high hopes for this place after reading the good reviews. Unfortunately mine & my husband's experience with this place was anything but. My first visit with then was to get a second opinion on something and it worked out okay as no procedure was done. The dentist that saw me during that visit seemed knowledgeable. Things went downhill during my second visit. Turns out that dentist had already left this practice to go work at a place in the city. I saw Dr. Danny (sp?) at my next visit and it's pretty obvious she doesn't know her stuff. Not sure which dental program she graduated from but she basically told me not to worry about the problem I was having. Didn't do any X-rays, instead told me that I could send old panoramics to them from my previous dentist. I did tell her that those X-rays were old and back then I wasn't even having this issue so not sure how an old X-ray would help? She told me to monitor and if the problem doesn't 'go away' she will refer me to a specialist. I would have liked her to at least evaluate the issue but I felt like she just sweeped it under the rug. The kicker was when I suggested 'how about I do X' and she was like yeah let's do that and we shall see. Ummm then why did I need a dentist? I could have done X regardless. My husband also had a visit with them and they recommended he get a deep clean but that they were unable to perform the procedure because they don't have tools to do that. We have never been to a dentist in the past that couldn't do a deep clean. If you care about your dental health, I recommend not going here. read more

I'm so thankful I found my favorite dentist Dr. Jerit Davis after he moved from west Frisco! Both my husband and I have followed him to his beautiful Legacy West Dental office. When we first moved to Frisco, another dentist told me I needed $10k worth of work done, even though I'd been going to my previous dentist every six months with no problems identified. Then my husband went to her and was told he also needed $10k of work done - what a coincidence! We both went to Dr. Davis for a second opinion and he said we didn't need anything. We've been going to him for more than a decade now and none of the issues identified by the first dentist ever happened. He's just amazing and so nice! When he sold his practice in Frisco we didn't know where he went and didn't have a good experience with the dentist who took over his old practice, but then I saw an advertisement with his smiling face and did a little happy dance! Huge fan of Dr. Davis and his staff. I was with him beginning several years ago in Frisco, remaining there until (and after) his departure. I was so excited to hear he had a new practice in Plano that ended up being even more convenient to get to and jumped on board as soon as possible. The facility is absolutely gorgeous, state-of-the art and welcoming. Recently had my first experience with a crown - Dr. D was very thorough in explaining the process and it went down exactly as described. I left with a perfect temp while I await my permanent, and had very little discomfort afterward, not even requiring an ibuprofen or anything. Just a great experience all the way around! I had such high hopes for this place, but then i walked in for the first appointment and they had lost my info, were extremely rude about it, then proceeded to explain how they are down to only one person because everyone else had quit and everyone is frazzled all the time and thats why they are rude, but no apology for me walking into that hot mess. Until becoming a patient of Dr. Davis, I never felt the need to leave a review in the medical/dental realm, but I feel compelled to do so for him. I had quite a bit of work needing to be done, so Dr. Davis took the time to explain every detail so I had a full understanding of the scope of the work and what it would take from beginning to end. His attention to detail and ability to communicate are both exceptional. If all of that wasn't enough, his bedside manner is fantastic. I must admit that I've never been a fan of dentists, as I'm sure is true for most people, but he genuinely put my fears to rest. He cares. During the course of my treatment, every receptionist and dental assistant I encountered was the consummate professional and made me feel respected; like I was part of a family. I also never had to wait a minute past my scheduled appointment time. Each person takes the time to get to know you and they make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. Whether it's letting you pick a channel for the TVs in the rooms, offering you a bottle of water, or having a conversation to get to know you better, they show you every courtesy. Dr. Davis is my dentist for life now. I'd also like to give a shout out to Grace, Alicia, Kaleigh (no clue if I'm spelling it correctly), and Patty. Dr. Davis and his staff are truly top notch; always professional and friendly. The office itself is pretty great; super comfy waiting area with a TV showing something good and tons of current magazines to peruse. When you get into the cleaning/exam room, its no different. Very updated and modern and each room is equipped with the most current technology out on the market! Each room includes a TV so you can watch whatever you want while you are having a cleaning! Love that! Waiting times are pretty standard - I have waited no minutes past my appointment time to maybe 15 minutes past my appointment time. The office hours are great because on Tuesday & Thursday they are open from 7am-7pm, plus are also open a couple of Saturday's a month. I don't have children, but I hear they are great with the kids too! read more

Both my husband and I recently had our first appointments in their beautiful new Legacy West office. Dr. Davis has kept our smiles bright for the last 11 years. We were so happy we stayed with him and his staff, even after his move. Now "Legacy West" Dental is worth the drive to Plano. Last year we had an insurance issue and I was upset about it; Dr. Davis immediately said, I'll take care of it! This year we called his insurance office to find out which company they would suggest and we are so happy with our new recommended plan. Dr. Davis keeps such a clean dental area. Reclining during cleaning I was happy to see the ceiling completely dust, dirt and grime FREE which is a reflection the cleanliness of Legacy West Dental. London cleaned my teeth and gums, pain free. Great staff and location in Frisco (across from the Target). Waiting room is average with comfy chairs, tv, magazines. Restroom provides toothbrushes and mouthwash so you can prepare for your appointment. The staff is helpful and efficient. The hygienists are super friendly. Each room has a personal tv that you control during your visit. I see Dr. N and he is very thorough and does not rush his time. read more
