The Best Cake Ever! I have heard many great things of Ela and all are true. Not only are the cakes better than all the other places I have tried, the cake designs are very intricate and unique. Her cake designs are one of the best you can find in SGV/LA. You can all the different cakes she makes on her IG. She also competed on Cupcake Wars many years ago. I initiated the ordering processes about 5 months ahead of the date I needed it. Everything was done through email. 2 tier cake was way more then enough for 70 people. We used one of her prior designs because it matched our theme perfectly. She gives you pricing for the cake, the custom displays, and the additional decorations so you know how much each piece for your cake costs. Most of her cakes are wrapped with fondant and her displays and decorations are made with fondant and other edible desserts. Flavors - They have many cake flavors and many frosting flavors. You can mix and match to your flavor profile. Bottom Tier - Red Velvet w/ Cream Cheese. I have had this combo of hers many time. The cake itself is great but I always find the cream cheese super sweet. She will not make it less sweet, I asked. Top Tier - Oreo Cake w/ Peanut Butter Mousse. This cake was probably one of my favorite cakes I have ever had. The combo was a little weird but it worked so perfectly and it was not overly sweet. So good, people kept asking for seconds. Even one of our guests ordered this exact combo for their party a few weeks later. Decorations were so amazing that you do not even want to take it apart. Top notch decorating and designs. It was beyond everything we expect and more. Cutting the cake is a little difficult. There are many many pegs keeping the cake together. You have to remember to pull them out as you cut. For first birthdays, she offers free smash cakes. They match up to your cakes design. They were so perfect and matched up perfectly. The cake is a vanilla pound cake. The kiddos loved it. Tip, either warm up the fondant so its super soft or peel it off, they could not break through the thick layer. Once you finalize your design and cake flavors, you pay half then and half on pick up. Ordering: I emailed her and although she put out a disclaimer about giving her 3-4 days to reply, she actually responded within a day or two which was great. I emailed her with an idea and she was able to give me suggestions on the design as well as cake flavor combinations. She made everything very easy on the customer in my opinion and gave me an estimate that did not cost me an arm and leg for. Taste: From what I remembered, I ordered a vanilla cake with nutella cream and strawberries. The cake was super moist and the nutella cream was not extremely sweet which I loved because I hate desserts that are super sweet. Everyone who tasted it was extremely satisfied and kept asking where I got the cake from.. it was THAT GOOD! Design: Since my cousin loves Olaf, I specifically requested for an Olaf to be apart of the cake. Eleana made Olaf into a cake topper and decorated the rest of the cake with sugar ice shards and snowflakes. Although the end result looked more like a Christmas/ Winter themed cake instead of the birthday cake, I have no complaints because everyone was distracted by how pretty it looked! She and her team and simply awesome. The highlight of my daughter's 1st Birthday was her cake. Ele makes the whole planning process so easy and accommodates all suggestions and implements them into the design. And the cake was delicious!!! We chose vanilla cake with Nutella and fresh bananas as the filling for the bottom tier and Oreo cake with cookies and cream filling for the top cake--- the entire cake was gobbled up and a total hit! I seriously had an amazing experience ordering a birthday cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. I am giving Eleana stellar reviews not only because she was super patient with my demands (I emailed her like 30 times with different ideas) but she made the cutest smash cake for my baby's 1st year photography session & most amazingly beautiful & *delicious* birthday cake for my daughter's 1st year celebration. I emailed her pictures of what I wanted these cakes to look like & they looked exactly, if not better, than the pictures!! I loved everything about working with Eleana. It was very convenient for me to be able to email her instead of having to go to a packed bakery. Also, she accepts PayPal! The prices are very reasonable & she is very creative & responsive.
