Mai's responsiveness, attention to detail, amazing vision, and delicious talent was a hit at our wedding and our guests kept talking about it for days after! Our guests wiped the dessert table clean before the main course could even get served lol! Here's what Mai prepared for us! Buttermilk Panna Cotta w/ Strawberry Basalmic Lemon Blueberry White Chocolate Mousse Chocolate Decadence Matcha and Churro Mochi Donuts The names of it in itself is mouth watering! Taste? CHECK. Bridal showers, Baby showers, Birthdays..or just because--I order my beautifully crafted delicious desserts and cakes from Petit Sweets for every celebration. I'm quite critical when it comes to 2 things: aesthetics (I like pretty things), and well, food (). Petit sweets perfectly delivers with their treats that are just almost too pretty to eat. My favorites are the red velvet cake, and the mochi donut holes(!). The red velvet, omg! Never have I tasted such a moist and perfectly balanced taste of decadent chocolate with the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting. At every event, I secretly hope there are always leftovers so I can go home and have it all to myself . The mochi donuts holes are also insanely addictive. They're small, and look so innocent..but before you know it, you'll have chewed through a whole box of them. Solution: order extra. Mai was so lovely to work with. She made a beautiful lemon wedding cake and decorated it so elegantly. It was the thing I had the fewest opinions about beyond the flavor, so she just ran with simple direction and helped me cap off my magical night. She also made an AMAZING single-serve tiramisu to complement the cake (almost a game-day decision right there). I loved eating the leftovers she saved for me the next morning (and regrettably sharing with my new husband). I'd gladly book Petit Sweets again! read more

We hired Mai to do the desserts for our wedding reception. My husband and I eloped and had a big party later. Much like our wedding, we didn't want a traditional cake (although I know her cakes are excellent too). We decided on different bite sized desserts, such as espresso brownies and white cake/berry fruit cups. Mai literally gave me a list of 20 different bite sized desserts to choose from, and after much deliberation, we finally narrowed it down to 5-6. Everything was fantastic and there were NO leftovers, that's saying a lot. We kept getting compliments on our cool dessert set-up all night. Mai was easy to work with, always available and quick to answer questions, and very professional. She set up everything for me and even let me borrow some of her trays! So sweet. And the treats of course were top notch! I will definitely hire Mai again for any upcoming big events! read more

Mai handled the desserts for my July wedding and they were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. They were also creative and beautiful to look at (all our guests couldn't stop ooh'ing and aah'ing over the dessert table). Plus, Mai is a total sweetheart, a perfectionist, and really easy to work with. My fiance and I had extremely precise requests (and really high standards!) and Mai completely nailed everything -- she actually exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. Mai made us: 1. Strawberry shortcake with Chinese bakery-style sponge cake and a light frosting (not heavy buttercream) -- this is my husband's favorite childhood dessert and Mai re-created the exact cake he wanted! Chocolate espresso decadence, which (you guessed it) was totally insanely decadent. Mai also makes amazing panna cottas, triple berry cake, chocolate cake, American-style shortcakes and probably a delicious version of any dessert you can dream up. Or let her get creative on your behalf -- I completely trust her taste and vision. I also love that Mai knows how to work within a budget. I wanted to go crazy and order like eight of her mini-desserts because they were all amazing and I couldn't pick just a handful, but she gently stopped me from spending hundreds of dollars more than we needed to and helped us put together an amazing dessert selection for our guests. I'm so glad that I hired Mai for my 29th birthday celebration! She made the most delicious Raspberry Vanilla buttermilk cake with cream cheese frosting topped with Macrons. Mai did my wedding cake on 9/3/17. The cake was so...so pretty. I got so many compliments from friends and families. Mai was very creative by using some flowers from my sweet heart table to decorate the cake so i didn't have to pay for additional flowers. I can't thank her enough on trying to save me some money.
