1. The photo with Happy Birthdae Joaquin is the cake we received. The the rest were photos I sent. I made sure to send multiple photos and the cake we received so disappointing. A couple of people came up to us to let us know how badly it was executed. 2. All the cakes I ordered elsewhere were boxed. This cake was given to us with NO COVER. The venue was located inside the mall. I had to walk a block carrying the cake in direct sunlight to go into the venue therefore exposing it to sunlight and all kinds of germs from the mall goers. 3. I'd think a (1) candle would be included with this purchase, at least the bakeshops I've purchased from had a single candle attached to the box. This came with no candle! 4. I do have to commend them for waiting for us an extra 30 min considering the entire ordeal that happened to us that day. read more

I'm extremely disappointed. I had very high expectations of your services and you definitely lost my future business and everyone else I know. I could have ordered the edible daisies that were on the cake you sent from Etsy and put it on a simple cake myself for a quarter of the price. In the photo below you can see the cake I ordered with fluffy daisies and the very subtle greenery around it, and right below the cake you sent - you couldn't have executed more poorly. I paid for daisies to be individually made and you stuck on pre-maid daisies that I could have done myself. Could you imagine ordering your wedding cake from one of the biggest names and seeing their amazing work in store, and on television only to have the worst experience of your life? This is what we experienced with Roobinas. We originally booked our wedding day for January 23, 2021 but of course with Covid, we had to postpone it. We ended up postponing it to January 1, 2022. Called and let them know and they were okay with it. I was texting and talking to them over the phone for a week discussing everything before finally coming in stores to show them my design. That's where everything went downhill. Once we got the ball rolling and she approved my designs and we discussed a price, she told me that they do not open on New Years Day. I'm like, you couldn't have told me that over the phone before I drove over an hour with my 6 month old?! After having a long discussion they said the best they can do is have it done 12/31/21 and someone would have to pick it up in the morning before 10am. Luckily my venue was nice enough to store it for us as it's a 30" cake, we wouldn't have room for that in our house fridge. So my family helped me pick it up and we stored it at the venue the day before. I was expecting a magical cake seeing I paid $1,110 for it but it was the simplest cake ever. Like no effort went into the design and the entire cake except for one slice was fake anyway. I was so disappointed. I didn't even want to display the cake for anyone to see. I could've made a better cake myself. Definitely won't be back here again. Thanks for nothing. read more

We decided on the design, given a price and were given the option to have fake fondant cakes with sheet cakes for 40 people for easier cutting, which we agreed to. Upon delivery, we noticed they switched it to real fondant cakes, no sheet cakes, so we informed the delivery person. We got a phone call shortly after from a woman telling us that we never chose that option. We tried letting her know that wasn't true, but we were so busy setting up the birthday party that we let it go. Had that been the only issue I would've been fine BUT when we finally cut the cakes at the end, that's where the real problem was. Our guests didn't eat more than two bites. We tried it ourselves and it was by far the worst cake we have ever had. The red velvet was completely bland. The frosting tasted like nothing, a flavorless cream. The marble cake with chocolate ganache looked and tasted disgusting. It had a mushy, grainy texture, and the frosting was so thick. We had so much left over and I was too embarrassed to give away any cake. We texted the next day to express the disappointment and received no response back. No apology, no understanding, nothing. We trashed everything. $400 down the drain. I would not recommend taking a chance with them for a special event. I have never been more disappointed in a cake order, and I let everyone know the name of the bakery so they would not go through the same thing for future parties. read more
