He walked me through all the goodies: weights, recovery center, sauna, fitness classes and a bunch more, all bundled into different membership packages. I was suprised learn it costs about the same as a cute TJ Maxx outfit or a full tank of gas if you're feeling like getting the full membership. And get this: you can bring a friend for free every single visit. Love that Crunch Fitness thought of this built-in gym buddy system, nice idea! I've got a few of friends who rave about how much they enjoy their membership. They say it's a great place to network with other business professionals or just vibe with likeminded fitness folks. I didn't sign up today because I'm checking if my UHC insurance might cover it (I might already be a member and not know it). But if you're thinking about it, I recommend joining! Look at their Yelp offer and take advantage of their one day pass to see if it fits your vibe.

Twice so far. when I went in to talk to a manager, I was told they would have to ask their district manager if they could stop charging me and If they could refund me the fees. I would get a call the same day. Of course I never got a call and I'll have to go back and raise the issue all over again. They want your credit card so they can just continually charge you.

Apparently this woman has been complaining about what happened and she didn't get her way. We had already talked to a manager the day it happened and it was okay but they decided to be dirty about it and listen to a crazy person that is not all there. they told my husband they were going to call the cops on him when he went to the gym tonight. I guess this time I will need to cancel our membership because this gym doesn't want to hear both sides of they story. Every time I have seen her after the issue, she stare me and my daughter down and makes it uncomfortable to wokout but they don't care about that issue. I will be canceling my family's membership and will find a better gym.

My trainer, Jessie, has been truly transformative for me. By consistently working out 3x a week, I've lost 40 lbs. since March. Despite my history of knee surgeries and spinal issues, Jessie's extensive knowledge and expertise ensure my safety and proper technique, preventing any setbacks. The private training rooms at NexGen alleviate my social anxiety, making my workouts stress-free. The privacy alone justifies the cost. Jessie's support helps counter my self-doubt, with his fist-bumps and encouraging words after each session reminding me of my progress, both physically and mentally. All of the staff at this location--Jessie, Noah, Cameo, and Bryson--are the nicest and most encouraging people you will ever meet! You will never feel intimidated here. He is very knowledgeable and makes it a point to cater to what you need and is sure to work within your boundaries. I have lower back issues and he was quick to recommend certain workouts and gave me a list of things to not do so that it would never become a problem. Adam also put me on a diet that was partially responsible for the results I saw. The diet he had me on was reasonable and essentially just required discipline which he is great for. He helps to motivate you and hold you accountable and doesn't do it in a "Reality Show" kind of way. He's not one of those salesman jock type dudes that scream at you. He treats the relationship like you're on a team and he takes the results personally and is happy to help you achieve. Big Fan, would Highly recommend to anyone (And I have). They are so great with the kids and it frees me up to lift, play pickleball, or participate in a class. They will watch your child for up to 2.5 hours which should be more than enough time for a workout and shower. Additionally, kids can participate in fun activities like rock climbing, ballet, hip hop dancing, and martial arts while you work out. The thing that really drove home the value for me was the parents night out. Every week they will watch your children for 3 hours on Friday or Saturday night. On the pickleball front, it's hard to beat having 6 indoor courts, which are relatively easy to book - all at a cost of membership that is comparable to pickleball clubs.

I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness for over 20 years (based at the Plano and Allen…read morefacilities) For a place that calls itself an "Athletic Country Club" with the continually increasing prices to match, this place does not live up to the moniker. In particular, as a customer of the Allen Spa I have never understood why the spa did not have it's own bathroom facility. Massages, facials, and hair appointments frequently take a while. It is reasonable that someone would want to use the restroom before, during or after a service. The idea that you have to walk across the entire facility to the locker rooms for their 5 aged and sad looking stalls in the ladies locker room seemed ridiculous and potentially embarrassing. So the "brilliant" answer was using the much closer "family" bathroom in the "family" locker room. That was workable, but certainly not a great answer. And now they have decided that Spa clients are no longer allowed to use the "family" bathroom. I do not know the real reasons why, but I assume it has something to do with not being a "family." Locked out! So we are now fully expected to trek our foiled, caped and oily bodies across the very large and very public facility to those previously mentioned locker rooms. I know of no country club that would expect its members to parade around in such a manner, nor inconvenience their hard working stylists and therapists with a bathroom so very far away. I really wish the Lifetime would fix this situation. It makes visiting the Spa stressful rather than Zenlike and peaceful....which is how a spa should feel.

You get split into two groups if the group is larger- team 1 on the bags, team 2 on the side turf. Jerome was the instructor (and the owner here), and is very patient with new people and just correcting form in general. People tend to lose their form when they get tired (myself def included), and he was there mainly at the bags helping my friends and I out and making sure we weren't approaching it in a poor fashion. I believe most of the people here are regulars, so its got a pretty "familial" feel. My one note is about the cleanliness- the gloves stink! I'd bring my own and get past that though. You can get a better deal if you buy packages at the Jym directly instead of online, so call ahead!

I decided to check it out because I was looking for a more intense workout, on top of the swim classes already take. I signed up for a one-day free class, and I was absolutely hooked! This is a full body workout and you will get a really, REALLY, good sweat. If you decide to continue beyond the one day free trial, there is a 30 day intro option which is about $39. If you decide to do it continuously it's about $60 a month. Yes, you heard me right! You get a quality work out AND it's affordable. I've tried doing title boxing and I love kickboxing, but their prices are insanely high for the average spender. Once you're signed up classes are unlimited, and you can pretty much come anytime during the week when they're open. Jerome is the instructor/owner and he's really good about helping you get going. DON'T feel intimidated. There are people of all levels in the classes, the most important thing is to keep moving and to keep hitting the bag. If you can't do a certain exercise you can always alternate it for something else. I like it because it's not all boxing, but other exercises incorporated into it as well. I definitely recommend you give this a try. If you don't feel the class is for you, then don't worry. There will be no one trying to harass you into buying something you don't want. I plan to continue on a monthly basis. :)
