He then said no need to pay the $95 fee and said no one will do my work for his original quoted price. I called licensed electrician: Ken Electrical, Inc. and he quoted me 1/3 of the price and he came back to check everything was ok for free. In-n-out electric should of just took my money and not argued over a foot-3feet of electrical wire.

For me the most important quality is the fact that he is honest. He doesn't perform work that does not need to be done. I get the sense more and more these days that services are being performed by mechanics and sadly even my doctors that really are not required. I never have this fear with Rafi. The second quality which is important but for me not nearly as important as the first is the fact that Rafi's prices are reasonable. Most recently, our garage refrigerator died when we were out of town and we returned to a disaster. We wanted to get a new refrigerator as soon as possible but it was clear that the way the refrigerator plug was jerry-rigged that it really needed professional attention. My wife called Rafi, explained the situation, and he came out that afternoon to install a new socket box. We had two other issues for him to address at a later date with respect to two of our ceiling fans. With respect to one of the ceiling fans which is making lots of noise Rafi simply showed us how it could be adjusted so that the fan would not make noise. With respect to the second fan which was wobbling he explained that to repair it would not be cost-effective but he could do a minor fix which he did so that at a lower speed the fan would not wobble that much. If we could live with that we would be fine. I think there are some electricians who would've replaced both fans. Not Rafi. I cannot say enough good things about him and the services he has provided for us over the years. I know this sounds like a paid commercial announcement but Rafi does not even know I am doing this review. And after all the years I have been on yelp I have only done two previous reviews. One for an upholsterer and one for a shredder, both of whom did excellent work. So, my praise is not easy to come by.

He came to my house to give a quote for a job I didn't use him for. 3. He came to my house one additional time (and now last time), to give a quote for a subpanel install outside. Within a few minutes of the third visit, after observing unrelated electrical work he didn't perform for me, he uttered something to the effect of "I've come to your house 2 or 3 times now and given you a quote, and you don't use me. I'm not going to provide a quote without charging 2 hours of labor, to measure the distance of the cable runs". On its own, a ridiculous statement which no other electrician has asked of me, as I have had other electricians bid for this job already that have no issues with taking out a tape measure and providing an estimate within a few minutes of being onsite. At the end of the day, I invited Roobik to my house in good faith, to provide an estimate for what will amount to several thousands of dollars of work, and rather than provide a quote, I got lectured and instructed to get a quote from the other electricians that have worked on my house. There are many electricians/contractors that aren't going to chastise you for not sending every job their way, I recommend you find a different electrician as this last (and final) interaction was baffling, unprofessional, and uncalled for.
