You can count me out. I am extremely disappointed and I will never be coming back here. From the second I turned 18, EC was the place to be because they were 18+. I have always paid $17, which compared to other dancehalls, is expensive, but it was worth it because I could go any weekend and have fun. They have now raised their prices to $21 for under 21 and that is just insane. To the one dancehall me and my friends would never think twice about paying $17, to raise it even more is beyond me. The carpet is too brown and the floor is too small for me to justify that price for what it is. See you never read more

Any idea you have and want to dance and enjoy the night. Some nights are ladies nights which you can attend free. & some nights have cheap prices for beer / liquor. Date night / girls night here is fun. Birthday celebration here are such a great celebration they let you set up a fun table if you ask in advance. Pool tables are here. Bathrooms here have always been decent and never a line, since there's two different bathrooms on each end of the dance floor. read more

Came here from out of town with a group. We arrived around 11 and had no trouble getting a table. The dance floor was packed the whole night which was great. Mostly couples' dances, a lot of hip hop and beginner line dancing. We requested several songs with the DJ (asking what dances they normally play so nothing was out of the ordinary for this spot), and he played half of our requests. Strangely enough they had a set of 5 great line dances in a row around 2:30am--best time for the night for us as we were sitting at our table waiting most of the night. I'd come back here for a crowded night of couples' dancing, probably not again if I'm looking for anything more than beginners line dances. There were a couple bars so never much of a line, drinks were fine, nothing out of the ordinary either selection, taste, or price. read more

I had no idea what to expect on a Thursday night, but boy, was I in for a treat! Well drinks are 75¢ and some beers are $1. Bartenders are super nice. Quarter Billiards are fun to start off the night. Around 9 pm, it was pretty chill with country music. Starting around 10 pm, there were more upbeat music and a whole lot of choreography. I was unaware there were so many line dancing songs similar to the Cupid Shuffle. Fun times! It was definitely a younger crowd so I wonder what it's like on Fridays and Saturdays. Man just so sad about this place. Was excited to check it out coming in from out of town, spending our last night visiting and just wanted to have fun and learn some dances. Vibe is great, cool name and perfect setup inside for dancing. First walking in, DJ right off the bat claiming they were "done with line dance songs" even though any song can be a line dance song so that was confusing? You can even line dance to Usher so that seemed like an odd excuse. Then looking around to others on the dance floor to help learn the dances and was met with "they are practicing because they are competing this weekend" I'm unsure where the fun and integrity of line dancing got lost along the way....but really hope those folks remember why we get into line dancing in the first place and sharing that fun with others. And secondly The price of drinks, however, with how the economy has been, I do understand that they had to reevaluate the prices.. TO BILLY, Good morning sir, I would like to preface this by asking you to excuse some of my language. I was banned from your bar last night and quite frankly that's not what I care about here. You need to know about the things that go on in YOUR establishment. Your management team is subpar at best. They bully customers into acting and getting what they want. Matt treats your BEST bartenders like absolute shit. To be completely honest with you sir the only time your "managers" act like managers is when you're in the building. When you're not there, Your team cares more about socializing and recording freshly 18 year old girls for TikTok. There have been numerous times I've attempted to bring something to their attention and they just shrug it off or I will get told "It's a bar, what do you expect?" There are several individuals both male and female that can corroborate what I am telling you sir. Furthermore I have screenshots to prove they bully customers and in one particular case a member of your team has threatened physical harm. I am not concerned about whether or not I regain the privilege of patronage at your establishment but I am concerned whether you know that you're losing customers and employees alike due to the way your establishment is ran when you're not there. I have been actively discouraged from applying by current members of your staff because of these very reasons. This place has some of the best staff I've come across in the nightlife scene in DFW. It all starts with the manager, who is as impressive of a leader as you can ask for. He's there every night, always extremely respectful, dresses the part, and sets the energy for the entire establishment. He has really impressed me, and goes out of his way to make sure you feel comfortable and, of course, makes sure you're having a blast. And that's been my experience every time there, I have a fucking blast. Also, prices (across the board) are WAY better than similar venues, such as Cowboys Red River. The only thing I would change is a little bit more diversity in terms of song selection. Maybe it's because I go there pretty regularly, but the hip hop songs don't change very often. The DJ is pretty solid though, and is receptive to song requests. Love it- keep up the great work. read more

I had brought some clients to Texas to look at purchasing land and they wanted to line dance my treat I thought electric cowboy upon arrival I see a lot of underage looking people very inebriated so I stayed blocking my better judgement to be told by multiple Louisville police officers that the owner wanted me to leave and two men who were standing next to me at the bar even the bar tender and multiple people confirmed I was nothing but friendly they insisted that I leave I will never bring any business or refer to Haines to that juvenile bar again as long as I'm in Texas read more

Great place to go at night! Loved the dance floor and bartenders were amazing! Went when they had $2 drinks so made it even better.

This place is extremely fun. Perfect mix between pop and country, just what my friends and I liked. 18+. Just a side note though, if you're a girl watch out for old men that pretend to be Luke Combs asking you to dance on the dance floor. We saw a guy in line in front of us bring a fake ID and he got sent out, the lady at the front was very assertive and did her job well. Great service overall. My friend wanted to ask out the big cleaning up the tables every Saturday night because of his great work ethic. Anyways, this is an overall great place and I recommend. Just a side note, if you're going to go, be courteous to other people on the dance floor. Listen, some of these guys are trying to pick up chicks and some of us girls are trying to be sought after and if you're there throwing it back and jumping everywhere around the dance floor, he's not gonna get his chance. I am an over 18 individual who was waiting for my friends to be done line dancing when they told me to leave because I was drunk. As I am sitting at a table by myself drinking water. I say, "Excuse me?" due to the fact that I am drinking water at a table by myself. They escort me and my friends out of the establishment and force us to sit on the curb outside to find a ride due to the fact that none of us brought a car. I am not only extremely disappointed in the integrity of this establishment, but sorry for my friend, Colleen, whose birthday it was. I feel extremely bad for her and embarrassed for myself, even though I was not doing anything but innocently waiting for my friends. We had police come and verify that the were real just to make them look dumb but didn't bother trying to go in and give them money any way . Everything about it was terrific, from the friendly girls checking IDs at the front to the bar staff and customers. I was there on a Saturday and the range of ages of patrons was across the board. Someone was celebrating a 50th birthday, there were couples much older, and of course, lots of folks much younger. Lots of pool tables and no waiting, judging by a nearby table that was empty for awhile. The DJ was picking a great selection of music, even including some George Thurgood. Dancing alternated between two-step and line. There were Latinos and blacks and an interracial couple, and everyone was smiling so I'm not sure where the racism charge of one reviewer comes from. Drinks were reasonable -- $12 for a double Jack. There's no food but you can order in from Uber Eats, pizza, etc. The bar even encourages it with posted signs. If I could put a zero or no stars I would. I went with my friends to have fun. One of the regular customers called me a dumb ass at the poker tables that they have there. I didn't call him a name I just responded with really that's what you call me. I was loud but I have a deep voice. But then I was told to leave because I argued with the poker TD, "The guy that runs poker". I would like to point out my tab was way bigger than anyone else at the poker tables and I tipped very well, the bar tender was awesome. This place is so much fun! As a 50+ year old couple that is dating we wanted to go give it a try dancing one night. There was no judgmental atmosphere or feeling like we weren't supposed to be there. I was not very good at country dancing, but tried and had a blast. Even went back for classes. I do love hip hop at heart almost as much as country but they play hip hop songs periodically too to dance to. We love how late they are open too! Everyone is friemdly amd a very diverse crowd. Place sucks. If you want bad service and non respectful bartenders and staff then come, otherwise stay away. Not worth the drive, maybe try a different location. Wait for your drink is too long, and expect to get overlooked as well, cause if you ask to get a drink and they haven't called on you you'll get the meanest mug... Oh and left tonight watching a staff member throw a couple ID's at some girls. Drunk or not you shouldn't do that. Pretty cool place and fun if you're into the country dance hall type thing. EC has always been very accepting of 18-20 year olds. Employees are usually VERY nice. They are always saying "18-20 always welcome!" However, last night I was approached by the rudest bus boy ever. Not sure of his name but he was very skinny and young... he was also the only employee in full uniform on a white lies t-shirt night, which makes me believe he's new. This boy approached me, snatched the beer out of my hand, and said "get out"...I'm sorry, what did he sayyyy?? Given I had underage markings on my hand it was understandable EVEN THOUGH the beer wasn't mine. The guy I came with (age 22) was drinking it and he asked me to hold it while he was playing pool so it didn't get picked up. When I asked this bus boy if he actually saw me drink the beer he just stood there and couldn't give me an answer because he didn't see me drink it. I understand how it may have looked to him and i understand he's doing his job but HOLY RUDE. Some lovely bus boys you hire EC! One night he's going to walk up on the wrong person with that attitude and regret it. He could've easily approached me and said "hey I saw you holding this beer so I'm going to have to ask you to leave" and I would've happily left at that point.
