I've been looking for a place that does "real" salsa without being pico de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro, and water). The salsa here is all red chili sauce much like is used with Huevos Rancheros in New Mexico. The food on the menu looks more continental Mexican than TexMex, so if you like that (unusal for Dallas) then check this place out. Interior is upscale but still relatively casual with a large seating capacity so they should be able to handle a veritable stampede. Great date spot as the service is good and the food looks really good! I'm sorry to be meeting friends at a Chinese dive buffet tonight versus eating here, but I'm coming back soon to try their food. It is NOT TexMex. If that is what you're looking for there is an El Fenix within a mile of here that can accommodate you.
