I had an emergency electrical problem in our home. Due to strong wind, the wire from the power pole is pulling away from the house. I called PG&E to fix the problem only to be told it is our problem and if the problem is not fixed within a certain period of time, they will shut us down. So off i go... and Yelp came to the rescue.... I called 3 high rated electricians at Yelps and all sounded pretty good. However, I felt Todor had a more personal touch and was very professional. Although it took him a second call from me (patience is a virtue) to respond, he was pretty much on the dot. Mind you, he came on a late Saturday to check the problem and he said no problem, I can get it done today and will be back at about 5:15pm (he actually came back at about 5:45pm) and I was very impressed. Todor is KING of ElectricoIntegrity Land He has worked on our house numerous times, and while he can be a bit messy, he always does an excellent job. From setting up new electric boxes outside for my Christmas lights to putting new breakers into the circuit box, Todor has done everything and done it first rate. More important, though Todor is always looking out for you and yours. Of course, it was not our favorite thing to hear that a previous contractor had installed halogens without the proper insulation and that our house would burn down if we used them in their current condition, but at least it came from Todor. He ordered the parts, took out the old lights and got our new ones up and running in a matter of a week. What appeared to be a very simple job to the naked eye turned out to be a rather complicated ordeal. We had a short time frame to install 220V outlets for our new copiers and after many dead ends Todor was the first person who said they could stop by for the estimate that very day. He was able to work around our office schedule, provided innovative solutions to some structural difficulties, and was friendly to work with. He was very considerate and detailed in his explanations of electrical terms that I don't particularly understand. Todor was very professional and knowledgeable from my first conversation with him on the phone. He's familiar with electrical codes and is not going to do something just because it is cheap. My business partner and I needed some electrical outlets and a new suspended fluorescent fixture installed quickly in our garage commercial space and Todor and his assistant delivered in spades. As an architect, I love the fact that he ran the flex conduit in the joist cavity of the ceiling rather than surface mounting, which would have been the easier (but less attractive) way to do it. All conduits were neatly installed, plumb and good quality receptacles and faceplates used. Make sure that if you are installing new lighting fixtures, you are clear that he does not include the cost of the fixtures in his bid. But once we clarified this point, Todor went out and got the fixture for us and it looks great. Todor also pointed out some other electrical deficiencies that we may have to address at a later date, useful information for any homeowner. read more

I've worked with Todor as a genenal contractor/designer for over 8 years over several projects. This week, he just recently finished a complete kitchen remodel in Hayes Valley. With all new electrical with a new subpanel dedicated to the kitchen. This is in an older building where surprises always abound. Firstly his bid was quite reasonable. Secondly, because I've know him for so long the trust issue is huge and Todor does not disappoint. Thirdly, when I inquired about this job he was already incredibly busy and fit me in anyway. He came exactly when he said he would and took exactly as long as he said it would take. His bid was spot on and cost exactly what he proposed. We were working in a rented apartment with the tenants present so getting this job done quickly was paramount. Again Todor came in aces. I've read Jesssica review and I found it terribly misleading. Importantly doing recessed lighting is very difficult and costly. I'm definitely at an advantage as I design projects, lighting included, and understand the cost of things and the degree of difficulty associated with different projects. Boy am I glad I found Electro-Integrity and Todor. The name says it all. He's responsive, knowledgeable, a good estimator of time, wants to do things up to code, even if there is no permit, and very reasonably priced. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I had an 11th hour rewiring job of a raw space we're converting to an office; a pretty straightforward job. My contractor thought would take a few hours max. (He's not a licensed electrician, but I still used his estimate as a rough benchmark.) My contractor called his electrician, who was too busy. I called 4 electricians on Yelp--2 came to look at the job; one said it would take 4 hours and wanted to charge me $600. for the job; the other said it would take "5-6 hours" and wanted to charge me $1000! The third might have been a good electrician but I couldn't understand his English at all, so declined to have him look at the job. The 4th never followed up. Thank God, I reached Todor! He came when he said he would, the job took almost exactly what he said it would (about 4.5 hours) and the bill was $425, which included materials. He did a superior job, even doing things I wouldn't have thought about , such as "nail proofing" some of the wiring. As I said, the name Electro-Integrity says it all. read more

After one week of no calls, I called him and he told me to call him again. I then sent him emails and left him voicemails. Today I finally got hold of him and he said he has a contract in Sonoma or something and he is unavailable till end of next week. Is he kidding me? I said "Bye!" and then got hold of another electrician (Mayan Electric) and I now have a "real" appointment this Friday. Todor needs to be organized and start caring about customers. I started this process with a guy named Mr. Georgiev on March 17 and din't get an estimate until April 4th. He was an hour late meeting me for the estimate. His estimate came by email 6 days later than he said it would. In fact, I had to remind him of the estimate so I could finally get it. When it came, he wanted $650 to do some pretty easy stuff. His estimate did NOT include an hourly rate on his "bid." I thought it was too expensive so went with another guy on Yelp named Kellas Electric. Mr. Kellas is awesome and MUCH more affordable. He told me on the phone his hourly rate of $90. He showed up on time for the estimate. He ended up charging me less than his initial quote.
