The crew that installed them were awesome on Oct 2025, although one of our bedroom screens squeak when it goes up and down. The issue was the drapery for our main bedroom, it was made incorrectly. Instead of 2 draperies they made one large one. They took them back to have them fixed. At first they said it would take 2 weeks, then we didn't hear back from them (left in the dark) until we asked in November and they said the draperies would have to be produced again which may be ready between December/January 2026. January comes along and no updates so I emailed them on Jan 6th for the status. They said it should be here by Jan 15th. January 15th passes and I emailed them January 16th that we no longer need them. They replied to me January 29th confused as why I don't want them anymore and are kind of low key giving me the customer a hard time. Honestly, we've been really patient and 3 months for a mistake done by them shouldn't be the customers fault for not needing them anymore.

In case you're not aware, Deep Sentinel will either sell you their wireless security cameras, their POE wired cameras, or may be able to use your existing camera system to monitor your property 24/7 with "Live Guards!" So, I contacted Deep Sentinel who have excellent customer service by the way, and asked them if they could work with my existing Reolink camera system. Since they have never tried Reolink cameras, they told me that they'd try to see if Reolink was compatible with their Deep Sentinel Hub & technology, but they could not guarantee that it would work. They then recommended that I work with their premier vendor named Avati Audio Visual. I originally contacted Drew who was very helpful and from then on I dealt with Dick Hall who turned out to be Amazing! Since I was Deep Sentinel's first customer to try working with Reolink cameras, Dick had his work cut out for him. It took months of installations, troubleshooting, out of the box problem solving, numerous talks with both Deep Sentinel techs, as well as Reolink techs, just to get all of my cameras working. That's what happens when you're the guinea pig for a camera that's never been tried before. Anyway, after months of Dick's determination and him not giving up on me, he finally got my Reolink camera's to successfully work with the Deep Sentinel system! He is definitely an asset to Avati Audio Visual, Deep Sentinel, and the tech / installation industry as a whole. He needs to be commended for all that he does and given a raise! If you need any type of TV, Audio, tech, speaker, security system or camera systems installed, look no further!

I bid this out and Brian (owner) was the only one that really took the time to come and look at the site and understand our concerns. He literally spend several hours explaining the systems, taking measurements, and just getting to know each other at our house before making an initial quote. I feel that buying a high end product, that it should come with a high touch service and Brian delivered on that. Brian was super knowledgeable and super patient in educating me and answering many many emails, volunteering good recommendations and breaking my incorrect DIY opinions of what home automation should be. I am a strong DIY guy and I threw a lot of technical questions at Brian. He spent a lot of time steering me in the right direction, and this is all before I gave him the business. We iterated on things for quite a few weeks. The other guys I talked to pretty much followed what I thought I wanted and really did not give much feedback even though it may not be the best thing for me to do. (i.e. I already have a consumer grade Lutron Caseta system in place , but the right solution for my wants is to go with a higher end Lutron system). The depth of technical knowledge about the product was just not there with these other guys. I got one other guy to quote the configuration Brian came up with, as I did not like their configurations. In the end I went with Audio Video Evolution. Some reasons 1) I got to know Brian in the process and I feel he is an open and honest guy. Just based on this I wanted to give him the business. 2) He is technically very knowledgeable and listens. 3) He was willing to price match which surprised me given the superior service he gave me presales. Brian's crew was awesome with the install. Very professional. You can tell this is a high functioning crew. They took their time to get things right, yet got the job done in a timely manner. The install looks gorgeous. BTW - Audio Video Evolution is on the recommended dealers list on Lutron's website. The most difficult part about the whole experience was waiting 10 weeks for the factory to make the Palladium shades and writing the check to pay for them. But in the end I am very happy working with Brian and would highly recommend them if you have any high end AV and shade work needed to get done.

Professional and friendly. Additionally, Brian brought in 54 Electric (owned by John Pfieffer), who solved some very complicated electrical issues with grace - and they, too, were incredible. More Info on the Projects: We purchased our home and knew there some electrical issues we needed to sort out, as well as some AV stuff we wanted to potentially upgrade. - Electrical: We quickly found out that there were 3 different systems running outlets and light switches throughout the house - and they weren't communicating with one another. And as a result, many outlets simply did not work. And, not to mention, there were many hazardous and non-functional cables throughout the house. Solve: Installed a Lutron lighting system throughout the home - and addressed cable hazards. - AV/Theater: We had an outdated theater, as well as a multi-speaker home system that wasn't functional. Solve: Installed a new projector, screen and speaker system in the theater, as well as fixed the existing multi-speaker system throughout the house. Also, created an AV tower to hold all the different receivers/systems in a closet space. - Shades: We were looking to replace the existing shades in our home and were considering electric shades, but got a few bids that were super high. We were surprised that Brian was actually an expert when it came to electric shades - and gave us a much more affordable price estimate. Solve: Installed Lutron shades in various rooms throughout the house. - Control 4 System: With all the above, Brian installed a Control 4 System to operate it all from one place, including our lights, theater, shades, multi-speakers throughout the home, entry gate, thermostat and security cameras. We thought, yeah, this could be pretty useful at times, but we literally use it everyday and it's a complete game-changer when it comes to convenience. Price: We bid this project out to 4 companies. Two companies came in super high - and one was comparable to Audio Visual Evolution. But, we ended up going with who we felt most comfortable with and couldn't be happier with that choice. Overall: After several months, we're highly satisfied with everything. We've had a couple of small technical things that we weren't tech savvy enough to figure out - and Brian and his crew were super responsive and helpful - and didn't hesitate to come out to take a look or assist. 5-Star Service.
