I explained how frustrating it has been sitting around waiting for a call that clearly wasn't coming and he apologized & told me he'd be in tomorrow , & he would make sure I get a call and update as soon as they have an update & know if the phone is able to be fixed. Initial experience with this place was 1 but this guy just redeemed it to get to 3 . Hopefully it will be 4 in the end x I won't be giving 5 unless the first guy I spoke to calls an apologies

Panic set…read morein, I reached out to family college student (UNH) whose peers had success with CPR Portsmouth. I went to the Nashua store, concerned not about the 30 dollar connector but CPR cracking the screen during the very invasive screen removal process to get at the connector, plus I didn't want to share my passcode. They accommodated both, guaranteeing if they broke screen, they make me whole. After the repair and in-store, I entered my passcode for them to check and they determined the far right side icon movement was intermittent. They replaced the screen entirely and I was a happy camper when I finally picked it up. They honored their commitment and I'd definitely return.

They called me and said that the charging port need to be replaced. They said if I waited till March 16th it would be covered for free but if I need it right away it would cost $200. I said I could wait On March 17th I called them to have them fix it and they said it would cost $200. I told them that they had told me that it would be free after March 16 and they said I misunderstood them. I asked how much it would be without the insurance and he said $400 which is ridiculous. He said that's deal or I can pick up the computer, which i did. I brought the laptop to another electronics repair shop and they told me it would be $150 to fix and it will be ready tomorrow. That's without any insurance. When I called the corporate office they looked everthing up and agreed with me that the repair should have been done free of charge. The corporate office refunded this month's $39 charge and canceled my assurance plan. But I'm still paying $150 for a repair that should have been free. Beware! UNPROFESSIONAL, INEXPERIENCED, and FRAUDULENT. Do not use Thornton Electronics Repair LLC…read more I highly suggest finding a different, more reputable repair company. My family and I contacted Thornton Electronics to repair a refrigerator for my elderly parents (70+). Ryan responded and scheduled a consultation. Upon inspection, he stated that the fridge was not getting cold because the control board was not working and that replacing it would resolve the issue. Ryan provided no timeline for when the part would arrive or be replaced. After three weeks of waiting and several follow-up phone calls, Ryan returned and installed the control board. After paying a hefty sum of over $300 for the consultation, a used part, and labor, Ryan said the refrigerator would take 24 hours to get cold again. When the refrigerator did not get cold after 24 hours, we contacted Ryan again, who stated there must be a problem with the compressor. He told us he would order a new compressor and come install it for an additional $400. We hesitated on spending the additional money, but Ryan assured us that this would fix the problem. Ryan arrived onsite, replaced the compressor for the additional $400, and said the refrigerator would work in 24 hours. Once again, 24 hours passed, and the refrigerator did not work. After spending $700 on repairs--half the cost of a new refrigerator--we still did not have a working appliance. Ryan assured us he would file an insurance claim, and that they would cover the cost of a replacement refrigerator because he was unable to fix it. After several weeks of contacting Ryan and his insurance company, we found out that his insurance would not cover any of the repair, labor, or replacement costs. We asked Ryan to return or take the parts back for a refund and keep the cost of labor, but he refused. Ryan took complete advantage of elderly people who live on a fixed income. He took over $700 for a repair he could not complete and made no effort to correct the situation. UNPROFESSIONAL, INEXPERIENCED, and FRAUDULENT are the words I would use to describe Thornton Electronics LLC. Consumers, beware!
