So I swung by with it because I was passing Hackensack, & Electronic Workbench doesn't seem to be at the address listed online. I called one more time before giving up, and they didn't answer. Very nice owner, more than fairly priced, and repair done on time. Can be a little hard to reach or be in the shop, but once work is committed to, pretty available. I would highly recommend for normal electronic repairs, fixed my Bose sound deck perfectly. read more

Dan did work on my stereo unit last year the same issue started 6 months later I have been trying to call him fir the past month can't leave messages voice-mail full I even dragged the unit up the flight if stairs hoping to find hom there but no luck no forwarding message on the door...does anyone know what happened to dan!! read more

Don't let the previous reviews fool you!!! This place is the worst! save yourself a headache and your money! do not bring your tv here. What a waste of money and TV that is no longer the same! Dan picked up my tv to have it diagnosed, when i decided not to have the repair he returned my TV with a different remote and smart hub box that are all beat up, i knew then that he replaced all of my accessories with some old junk that is not even my tv's accessory model! i know this because the condition is so bad and the model number does not match with TV manual model number of my remote and smart hub box stated on the manual. I would not be surprised if he also replaced all of the parts inside the back of the tv with some broken parts so he can tell you, the problem could be many things! On top of that he returned my TV all scratched up! i confronted him and he just lie and get angry with you and would not give me back the original remote and smart hub box! read more

The gentleman came to my apartment,picked it up and took it with him.A day later,I received a call telling me it was ready.He came today,connected everythin, and ,finally,it works perfectly.It's hard to findnpeople who actually know what they are doing!!!! Excellent customer service. I am house bound so I called and they came to my apt. to pick up the TV, at exactly the time they specified. Called me that afternoon, what I had suspected the display screen was shot, not worth fixing. Can't complain had tv about 9 yrs. Can't get out to shop for tv and stuck home with nothing to watch. Dan, the owner, felt bad for me and offered to go to Costco's to get a tv for me. Where in this country do you find that today. What a caring and compassionate soul. He and Bobby came the next day and hooked everything up to new Samsung tv (Bose system, DVR, and DVD player) all professionally and in 10 min. Went above and beyond all that in 2 days and just charged me a service charge. Still good guys out there. Would recommend in a heartbeat. God bless them. read more

Nice guy. Called me back quickly and made it easy for me to drop it off..unfortunately he had to give me the bad news that my 4 year old $400 TV had fried it's picture tube, but no charge for the diagnosis. When I stopped by (as i was driving by his place after hours and saw the light was on) he even insisted on putting the screws back in so I could take it home and helped me put it in the car. read more

I used to take my audio video equipment to EW when I lived in Hackensack about 15 years ago. I was always pleased with the repairs and the quality of work. I live much further away now but when I needed my cassette deck repaired I brought it here. The player would stop playing a tape shortly after I hit "play". Dan fixed that problem and charged me $129, although he accepted $100. I asked for a receipt and got it but there were absolutely no details listed as far as the work that was done. When I hooked the unit up at home, I could hear that the tape was playing back too fast. Not pleased so I brought the unit back. He adjusted the voltage while I waited and that solved the problem. Did someone not listen to the unit before I picked it up the first time and hear that playback was too fast. Additionally, now when I play a cassette the high notes are distorted. I have no intentions of bringing back the deck a THIRD time and now possess a unit that is useless to me after spending $100. Unacceptable. read more

Dan and crew have taken care of all of my electronics for 9 years now. Dan is keeping my irreplaceable Luxman receiver on life support, but has only charged for the initial repair from 2 years ago. It's trying to die, but he won't let it. Top marks for a guy who makes you feel more like a friend than just a customer. read more

Very nice people, came within an hour of calling. When they could not fix at house took it back to their shop. Called and let us know the price to repair which was reasonable. He brought the tv back the same day with a 6 month warranty. We wIll definately call him when we are ready to install a TV on the wall. read more

I just had Dan finish a job for me. He gave me a very fair quote and stuck with. Never tried to up-sell me or con me. He's one of the very last of the "honest" technicians". He always calls the customer back right away,come over when he says he will, and keeps his word.
