I was in the area because my son was working out at a gym nearby. I wanted to find a local Nail Spa to get a pedicure. I looked on Yelp and searched for nail locations nearby. A few came up but the name Elegance caught my eye. I browsed the photos and decided to message to inquire on services. Jenny, the manager responded almost immediately and let me know where they were located and sent me a copy of their services menu. I asked if they took walk ins or had any room. She said they had a 12pm opening which was only 15 minutes from the returned message so I drove over. The nail spa is located in the back corner of a small shopping mall that has many other shops. Ross department stores is the big store in front and Elegance Nails is on the left back side of that bldg. It's in a corner and immediately when I walked in I was greeted and asked to sign in. I did not have to wait more than a couple minutes before I met Kim, my nail technician. She had me get in the chair and gave me the remote for the massager. The foot bath was cleaned and wrapped. There were new towels she grabbed and clean tools. She showed me a nail book of colors and I made my selection wanting a little pop of brightness. She showed me their services menu but because I saw this from Jenny earlier in my inquiry I knew I wanted the Deluxe pedicure. This includes massage, hot stone, paraffin wax, hot towel, clay and sugar scrubs. Kim worked her magic on the massage and I was so relaxed I almost drifted asleep! Kim had excellent attention to detail in nail trimming, filing and cuticle removal. She was firm in her massage and soft when scrubbing sensitive feet areas on bottom. I think the time she spent giving me the pedicure was an incredible value for the price that I paid! Other customers were being serviced by the remaining nail technicians and all of them were very professional and kind. Both Jenny and Kim thanked me for my first visit and I paid and tipped her well because Kim did an excellent job. Honestly, one of my best pedicures. I was happy with how my cute, clean toes looked and her friendliness, attention to detail and professionalism. Always a good experience. I've been coming here for years and I've never been cut. A little too common an experience in other salons. They always do what I ask and I've only had to come back a couple times to have things fixed. The only real problem I have is the upsell charges. If you just want a basic pedicure or manicure, the quality is good and the prices are fair. But if you start asking for anything special, like Cat Eye of French tips, those cost extra. I still go here, but I'm very careful about what I ask for. read more

I went to Elegance Nails yesterday, wanted to remove my old gel nails and get a regular manicure. I walked in right after another lady. She was a larger white lady like myself so maybe they thought we were together. They had asked the lady in front of me something before I opened the door, and I heard her reply "I have an appointment for a pedicure." I looked around. It was almost 2pm on Saturday. 4 employees. Two were at the pedicure station, not sure what they were doing, a man and a woman. There were no clients there. Testing the water? Training? Readying for a customer not yet present? Not sure. Another employee was behind a desk where they do manicures and the 4th employee was helping the one other client in there with a pedicure. That client I heard complain that the water was too hot and they were burning her feet. I heard the 4th employee who was dealing with the water temperature of the sole client tell the woman who walked in, in front of me to "come back?" I think the other lady wasn't bothered and just started to look at nail colors, preferring to wait then to come back? Idk. I stood there hoping they'd talk to me. They didn't. I stared at each employee and one glanced at a clipboard at a front desk so I approached it and noticed names and what was wanted. So I added my name. Stood back. Nothing. No one even looked at me or the clipboard. I waited some more. It felt really hot in there like they didn't have on any air conditioning. I kept thinking how I didn't want this to take forever as I had a mile long list of errands to run, how it was hot, how I hadn't been greeted or even approached with a "20 minutes?" Or "come back at 3?" Nothing. So I walked out. I kinda thought since the clipboard had my phone number they'd maybe call them and I'd get to say no thanks but they never even did that! I got a gel pedicure here on Sunday and as of Tuesday it's already lifting. Very disappointing as the last pedicure I got was great!

Got a great full set and pedi from here. I wanted an olive green color with the gel color but they didn't have it but I got a nice green gray that lasted 3 weeks. The full set was super light and easy for me to work with and they held on really great (3weeks) before I lost a nail (I do a lot of lifting so I was expecting it sooner). Anyhow best set I've ever gotten anywhere, and the workers all sweet and nice. Only concern I had was when I got my nails done I was looking at the sample color swatches and when I was done it was handed to the next guest but the lady that was doing my pedi with the water still on her hands that had just been scrubbing my feet. I really wanted to love this place but after today's visit, I won't be going back. I asked for a pedicure but never realized how short they were cutting my toe nails, that by the time I noticed, it was too late. I was already unsatisfied by the process because of this but when I got home, my nail polish was smeared across all my toes. I decided not to go with gel for the first time ever not thinking it'd be an issue but I was wrong. I waited 25+ mins for them to dry I don't even know how this even happened. I came in here to get a manicure. Prior I had my nails done with powder gel and I wanted them off after a month so when I came in the worker kept trying to take it off with nail polish remover and then asked if it was gel. I told her yes it is. And then she got frustrated, brought the nail drill out and began to take it off all while scraping my raw skin around my nails. THEN when she proceeded to do my nail polish and cleaned up some of the edges where the nail polish spilled over to my skin, there was still nail polish left around my nail and hand????? Eventually I went to go sit my hands under the dryer for a solid 10 mins, my nails felt completely dry (even tried rubbing them and nothing happened) I get home to start cooking and my left middle finger nail is wrinkled. okay. $20 isn't much to spend on a basic manicure but I seriously could have done this work myself if I wanted amateur work. Will not go back.... I've been here a few times. When I walked in last time the nail tech had an open sanitary bag with cuticle cutters inside, I watched her put them in the drawer. Then while I was getting my nails done, to cut my cuticles she pulled out that same bag and started using that on me. The files that were used on my nails were very used (almost completely covered in nail marks where it shows white on the black nail file). Every time I go here I am more than satisfied! I usually go for something very simple photo, but I had an event this weekend and wanted to do something a little more flashy and they did a great job as usual! Keeping my real nails long, and just getting gel on top is what I like to do, so them listening to what I want is key. They always make sure you are satisfied with the color before they move on to any other nails which I really appreciate. I've gotten pedicures here before and I am always very happy with those as well! I used to go to Sactown Nails, but I like this shop way better & I consistently go here now. 10/10 recommend, EVERY nail tech there knows what they're doing!
