I went in to get my nails done today and requested silver chrome nails. I wanted a design and asked on the phone if they can do designs and they said yes but I could tell when I was in person that the girl was not confident in doing it so I said let's just do chrome instead, thinking this would be easier. The girl I went to was rude and kept snatching my hands to correct me from taking my hand out of the UV lamp which she kept on continuously instead of setting a timer, I only removed my hands when it surpassed 2 minutes. The girl kept messing up my nails and using her buffing sponge and file to remove the color and redo it. I am not picky with my nails so I wasn't worried about it but she just kept doing it. She did this 3 times on a few fingers until she scratched my skin down until it bled in 7 different spots. On top of this hurting and my fingers bleeding, the file she was using was covered in nail dust and clearly not cleaned so I am covering my hands in neosporin. To top everything off, the nails have spots where she tried to file a bubble off, scratched off the color, and then didn't repaint it so I just have bare patches on my nails and bloody cuticles for a normal gel manicure. The man working said they don't do refunds so I'm simply going to charge back with my bank. 55$ btw read more

I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but too many things happened for me to ever go back. Decided to have a self care day with my husband on Monday. We didn't make appointments but were quickly seen (a good start). After sitting down we were given the menus and made our selections. I got the #3 pedicure and he got the #2. His menu stated that he'd get a callous removal and when we brought this up the worker said no, that's not included anymore. They quickly snatched the menu and just said it's extra. It was a weird vibe but we said okay, well just do it. The lady worked that into my husband's pedicure. Meanwhile my #3 said it also included callous removal. We go through my pedicure and all of a sudden the guy doing mine is about to get out the paint. I quickly stop him and ask about the callous removal. At this point the water was already drained from my bowl too. He then backtracks and does this part. I know if I never mentioned it, it wouldn't have happened. Pretty lame. Finally we go to pay and the owner I think, asks us how everything was. I tell him the flow of things for my pedicure was off and the menu situation was weird. He says sorry and doesn't really make eye contact. Then when we hear the total he tells us he gave us a discount for the inconvenience which was honestly appreciated based of how everything went. This is truly the only reason for my 2 stars vs 1. At this point I would have been down to try them out again in the future, but now here I am 48 hours later and my gel toenail polish just chipped. I WFH so my feet are never in real shoes/socks; mainly flip flops. A #3 is $68 (before the discount we got). To know I still paid a decent amount for the more "premium polish" and it didn't even last more than TWO days is ridiculous. There are just too many places in Sac to go to that I'm crossing this one off my list. To top things off the tools used on me weren't presented in a clear sterilization pouch which should have been an initial red flag. They just came out of a plastic bin. A sealed pouch is how all tools should be initially presented to ensure ultimate hygiene. read more

Jenny is a superstar! My skin grows under my toenails and it's hard to cut them without causing pain... not for Jenny. She's so gentle and takes the time to understand how your nails grow and need to be "tamed" lol. She is so patient and sweet. The salon is really nice and modern. Was going to schedule an appointment online, but they didn't have a time that I wanted so I called and asked if they had walk-in availability. I was able to come in and get seated immediately after signing in. They even remembered it was me who called when I came in. I chose the paraffin deluxe with cat eye gel polish. The guy (Tony, I think) that did my pedicure did not know how to do cat eye, so had to get someone else to do it, which was fine with me. I did find it interesting that they did the paraffin after the polish, but I guess the order doesn't really matter? I got two massages (one before polish and one after), so I really liked that :) Inside looks exactly like the pictures. Nail salon smell is strong when you first enter, but you get used to it quickly. I had mentioned that better ventilation would be nice in my Google review and the owner immediately turned on the fans after that.. talk about responsive service! I truly appreciated that. Overall, the owner is what made it such a good experience. He was friendly and came by a couple times to ensure everything was going well. I only get my nails done 1-2x/year, so I probably won't be back for awhile. But, I'll definitely keep this place in mind for my next visit. read more

Saw this place while driving by, decided to give it a try. I love a new nail salon, also like to judge chair quality for pedicures. I was checked in promptly. Was warmly greeted by all staff and directed to my chair. The service books are very nice. The services seemed a bit pricey, but let me tell you... was completely worth every dollar. The chairs are amazing. From start to finish, it was a luxurious experience. The massage was my favorite. They have a wide selection of gel colors. I had paraffin deluxe pedicure w gel the first time. Second time I did the cbd pain relief pedicure w gel. Both were incredible! Loved every minute. I try to go 4 weeks for pedi, my gel did not chip at all. Around week 3 even tho my gel toes were perfect, I wanted to go back just for the massage and chair! This is a new salon that's located near the Arden Fair mall. I found out about them through an ad I saw on IG - 25% off your service during the first two weeks of their grand opening! It was super easy to make an appointment since they have an online booking option. I made a pedicure appointment for today at 5 pm. There's a few options and in my opinion, they were very reasonably priced. I was a little skeptical at first because the outside is sketchy but it was really nice on the inside. The service was good and efficient. My tech, Nina was nice but we didn't chat much which I was totally okay with. The only downside was she nicked my toe :( But other than that, I was satisfied with my visit. I also didn't know they offer drinks until I read it in another review, that would have been nice since I left my water in the car. Anyways, I'd most likely come back again! read more

I had time to kill after work before a dinner reservation so I booked a 5pm pedicure. I arrive on time and was initially impressed because it looked really nice inside. I checked in and was told it would be 15 minutes until I get seen. I explained that I had a dinner to go to and needed to leave by 6:15pm. I was assured I could leave by then so I decided to wait a little. By 5:10 i was asked to sit in the pedicure chair and was given the colors to choose from. Usually at nail salons you can at least sit down and soak your feet. By 5:15 i had to ASK to at least get some water so my feet could soak while I wait. I get 2 inches of water, where i needed to tip my toes downward to even soak them. 5:19 and it doesn't look like anyone is near finished so I can be seen, so I decided to leave and forego my appointment. For a place to accept an appointment hours in advance and not be seen close to the appointment time, I decided to leave so I didn't have to have a "rushed" service in order to leave on time. 2 inches of water? That's what got me thinking that I wasn't going to have a good experience. Glad I left and won't be returning. Placed looked great, but bad service before my appointment could even start was a red flag for me. read more

I went in and got a gel manicure and pedicure. I had worked so long on growing out my natural nails and when it came time for the manicure - I wanted to have builder gel and have a more coffin shape. I specifically said - because I don't think my nails are long enough to be pointy yet but due to the language barrier - Paul heard "pointy" and then shaved the sides of my nail making them into stilettos. He shaved the sides when he took off my gel polish from last time and so there was no time to correct as he already did my thumb before I noticed what was going on. I decided to just go with it because there was nothing to be do about it now. He applied the builder gel and started on the design of a tortoise shell nail. The first attempt on the nail wasn't good but he got the hang of it after that first one- it had looked more stringy than all the others. He finished but didn't go back to correct the odd one out so I requested that he did and then he fixed it. I was there for over 3 hours and was now late for work so I had to leave quickly but I was not satisfied. My nails were bulbous and I left crying. I came back the next day to set up an appointment to fix it. When I came in I showed Paul what was wrong and he started to shave off the builder gel. That's when I saw how crooked and brittle my thumb was now due to his shaving. He pushed down on the side to see and half of my nail bent in. He finished but my thumb was now crooked. He then shaved down my natural nail more and then it was shorter than all my other fingers. I was so dissatisfied I started to tear up again and went to the restroom to collect myself. I then went to the front desk and spoke with T. I told him that this was the third correction on my nails and I wanted my money back. He said if I wanted money back - then they would take off all my nails and then I could get it back. I told him how I've been here for over an hour and it was now a new problem and that I worked hard to grow out my natural nail and he said - "it's just a nail. It'll grow back." Rude asf. And when I asked him his name for the review he gave me a wide obnoxious and petty grin. When I walked back to Paul, I could hear T yelling at all the people around about me asking for money back. Paul then added builder gel to try and correct his over shaving but in the end - it was still shorter than all the rest. And he had shaved more of my natural nail's length in the process.We had numerous language barrier issues during this process so I started to use google translate. He said that the side of my nail was missing when I came in cause I had coffin nails - I did not- I had oval nails and showed him the picture. He then said - natural nails don't grow out even so if I wanted even nails - I should've gotten acrylics. He said he could fix the sides in a few weeks when I came back but i won't be back because his front desk man is rude. I left crying AGAIN. Had T been kinder or more emphatic I would have MAYBE given this place a second chance. read more

I came here on mothers day hoping to relax but the day ended with grief, frustration and under excited. First i think this place is way too big it looked like a beauty school at first i wasn't a fan of the numbered seating or layout. The service is sub par for the price i would rather go somehere wlse. i didnt like how the male staffed looked at me it made me feel uncomfortable and i didnt appreciate all of the side talking it was very unprofessional and seemed directed at me which made me further uncomfortable. Just to clarify it was completely dead inside almost there were only 3 guests so the additional conversations were for pleasure especially when they are looking dead at you when talking and laughing. I asked for a simple paint on my daughters nails, regular paint and wasnt quoted a PRICE. at the end of service when i went to pay they charged me $15 for her nails. There was no price discussion no posted price and no clarity.i have never spent this much for my daughter.She is a nail bitter so she barely has any nails to even paint i usually am charged between $5-$10 tops. Ther was no design and it wasnt gel polish and the price wasnt explained they made up aa price when i stated that this charge wasnt anywhere to be posted. They caused a huge scene and was talking crap in their language. i will never return read more

The guy who did my nails could barely speak English so when I was explaining what I wanted we both were frustrated because of the language barrier. My BFF( sister) decided to treat me to a pedicure. We spent most of the day downtown but needed to stop and get pedicures. I'd seen this business on instagram and they had a 20% off promotional. We called and tried to set up an appointment but Kaizen said to come on in. We came in as he asked if we were the ones that called. He signed us up for their club. We got the menu and sat down and picked our pedicure service. They brought over two gold metal champagne flutes and started our pedicures. My girlfriend and I are both Kim. Rose did my pedicure and Vanessa did My girlfriend Kim's. We were really pampered. We picked service # 3. It was a wonderful experience. The pedicure came with a sugar scrub, a collagen mask with hot towels, another massage, hot stones. Very soothing, great color choices in both regular and gel. They briefly played a happy birthday song for me. I highly recommend this business. It would be a great idea for a girlfriend's day or a group setting.There is definitely space without being cramped.
