well i got what i wanted which is good (i got acrylic nails) but they also got glue all around the finger and they also got paint around a couple of them. the lady was a little to rough with the nail file and some of my nails are a little bumpy and uneven. but if you want a good pedicure then i would go there but probably not acrylics. it might have also just been the lady i have but i don't know. read more

I went here twice because it was so convenient. I had an excellent experience the first time when I got a full set of acrylic nails - though I was a little put off when they basically demanded cash even though they say they accept credit cards. But the next time was horrible. I went for a fill and paid extra for gel. When I got home, I realized the color was not right even though I've used that color before. I wonder if they use knockoff polish? Maybe that explains why the polish started cracking off and chipping that same night. I went back the next day to get my nails redone and although the color was better (I picked a different one), the job was just as bad if not worse. The gel was cracking and peeling by the time I got home, and the polish wasn't applied evenly. There was polish on the skin around my nails, too. Thank goodness they didn't make me pay for this "fix." Guess I should have Yelped Elegance Nails and you can be sure I'll use Yelp to find a new salon. read more

I'm so picky when it comes to acrylic nails. For some reason, they always come out chunky looking. I tried elegance nails because it's close by and I'm so happy I did. On 5/21/2019, I went in for a pink and white full set with an ombré look. It was $45 and I LOVED how they turned out. I came back today, 6/16/2019, for a fill ($35) and they exceeded my expectations once again. Hannah was my technician both times and she really listened to what I wanted. It was okay... Kind of hard to find if you're not looking, or don't know what you're looking for. Very nice ladies. And very nice work on pedicures. They're great at what they do and know how to take care of someone. I especially love how sanity EVERYTHING is. You get your own buffer, nail file, clippers... Nothing was used prior to being used on myself. The time management was a little iffy... It look way longer than anticipated and they don't have many options to choose from on their menu. Disgusting! My friend sat down to get her nails done when the woman started bleeding and tried to just wipe it away, pretending like it was no big deal. She also cut into her skin while shortening her nails. Then she demanded $25 for a basic manicure when I pointed out that her poster actually lists it for $13. Rip off much? How funny, I had a completely opposite experience. After a sub-par fill at another salon, Lana worked on my nails and pedi and was wonderful! She took her time and listened to what I wanted (thin look, not thick). When I told her about how awful the last place was with my pedi, she did an extra special massage. Mai does my fiberglass nails every two weeks or so...I always get compliments on them, they look so natural. I also do pedis and sometimes doze off because I am so relaxed! I've been going to Elegance for a few years now (only twice a year since I have been living halfway across the state), and I have always liked it. It's clean, the girls are nice and you never have to wait very long. They just got new chairs for the pedicure lane, and they are a huge improvement. They have decent prices for a basic mani and pedi, but they also have a more extensive menu for a more intense experience (paraffin dip or mask for pedi). They charge about $5 for decal, and have a limited polish collection- but it still covers the basics and then some. One thing that should be of note: I am terrified of getting an infection from crummy sanitation and these girls have NEVER given me cause to fear or anything near that. If I ever read about a place and just ONE person got an infection: I'm out. Elegance is clean, hygenic and kind. Give them a try! read more

Mai has done a great job for this past year on my manicures and the other ladies, when I do get pedicures or waxing done, have always done a superb job. Cutting cuticles I understand but I don't appreciate her talking to her coworker in her language& having facing her working on my hands. Like fucking pay attention. - I got a shellac nail polish which I found out later to be insanely over priced. She charged me $29. I could've gotten damn fake nails from that money. At my old salon I was charged $16. - I didn't like the finish job, nail Polish came out uneven, she created a bump-- scraped it out with her nails & did it again... But really? If only she paid attention. &&& lastly she didn't even put the color I chose. I chose a vibrant pink& the end result was a dull pink. Through 12 days of beaches, barefoot-ness, a couple nights of camping, you name it- my toes still looked cute as ever. I became a loyal customer. I am not super thrilled with this place, however I keep going there because my mom keeps paying for my pedicures :) Some of the staff are friendlier than others. It can get busy here and I fell like they really rush through the pedicures when it does get busy. They also started charging $1.00 for using your credit card and have recently increased it to $1.25 per transaction. Not the greatest selection of nail colors and I have experienced a lack of hot water for my foot bath. Not my first choice for a pedicure. read more
