Do not use them for your flooring! They installed LVP for us, which started warping less than a year later. He did not install a vapor barrier under the flooring. Reached out to him a couple times and he even came over to look at it. Said he would make it right, but never followed through. Although he did not have a helper, he completed the installation in 2 days starting at 8 am and finishing by 3 pm each day. Angel's work was impeccable! Avoid hiring this contractor for flooring installation. Angel installed vinyl planks in my residence in May 2022, which began warping six months later. Despite multiple promises to rectify the issue, he has not done so for over a year. Investigations by his supplier (Tecsun), the home builder and another flooring company revealed the warping was due to the absence of a vapor barrier, a known requirement for these planks. Angel repeatedly claimed inventory shortages, contradicting supplier statements. After failing to address the issue and ceasing communication following an ultimatum, I'm left with a $10,000 flooring investment requiring complete reinstallation. Here's a timeline of events: May 25, 2022: Finished installing vinyl planks November 2023: started noticing uneven floor planks December 1, 2022: complained to Angel about the warping. Informed me he would fix it ASAP, but kept saying he had other projects and had no manpower available. This went on for a few months. March 2023: Tecsun representative inspects the flooring, finding is that Angel should have installed a vapor barrier since these type of planks require them. May 11, 2023: informed me he would install a moisture test kit. May 17, 2023: He ripped up baseboard and planks to install the test kit. It is supposed to only be exposed for 24 hours, after which you send it off to a lab.
