After the excellent job Elegant Kitchens and Bath did on our bathroom, we were so happy with their work that we asked them to provide a quote for a complete kitchen renovation as well. Our kitchen was a complete mess before the project started, and we weren't sure where to begin. From the moment we visited their showroom, they gave us many great ideas and made us feel completely at ease. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and helped us visualize different possibilities. When they came to our home, we talked through the layout, design options, and functionality, and they guided us every step of the way. Our new kitchen has truly transformed our lives. We are in there every day cooking and enjoying the space. We now have beautiful cabinets with plenty of storage, new appliances, new flooring, updated lighting, and upgraded plumbing and electrical work. They also installed a tankless water heater and a new washer and dryer, which has made a huge difference for our household. We could not be happier with the results. The crew was professional, clean, and respectful of our home. The project stayed on budget, and whenever we requested changes or adjustments, they were more than happy to accommodate us. The final result is truly the kitchen of our dreams. We highly recommend Elegant Kitchens and Bath to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and a team that genuinely cares about their clients.

Wall was leaking due to the silicone they used CRACKING and the drain leaked into the wall.

Descriptions are under each photo. Horribly unprofessional job done. I'm so disappointed. This is after a year. I've had to do most of the repairs myself because I do NOT trust these people. Do not go to them. This was a 40k bathroom renovation, they rushed it and after working with many more people in this field I can see how much they ripped me off now. Please learn from my mistake and go to a more professional place that will not rush the job and leave you with this mess.

Gilbert and his team led by Sal, did a fantastic job creating a new bedroom and en-suite while modifying our master bathroom to our home in La Verne. From every facet (demolition, framing, plumbing, drywall, tiling, texture and final paint) they were polite everyday, on time delivery and on budget. We couldn't be happier with the result they've given us. Gilbert was always available on the phone or to meet if we had questions or request any changes, additions, which can be rare of an owner once you've signed the contract. Absolutely would recommend to anyone considering their experience and expertise to deliver a beautiful project. Stu

Last year we had our bathroom remodeled by Elegant Kitchens & Bath it was a great experience from the start. We loved working with Gilbert on design and materials and his team was efficient and skilled at the work. This year we called on them for our kitchen remodel. Again, it was a pleasure to deal with this team. Gilbert is the best at making sure it all goes smoothly and you never wonder if it'll all work out. They kept to the time schedule and got the work done beautifully. We're super happy with both rooms and would not hesitate to recommend this business.

We contacted Elegant Kitchens and Tim, the Sales Manager promptly responded and set an appointment. He listened to our ideas and provided great recommendations. We were scheduled to start our bathroom remodel fairly fast and were given a time frame of 3-4 weeks from start to completion. EKAB blew our mind with how fast they worked, how responsive they were to our suggestions, and how customer focused they were. The remodel ended up lasting two weeks, including minor tweaks they had to make after our final inspection. Their team is professional, respectful, open to suggestions and easy to work with. Thank you, Tim, Anwar, Moises, Alejandro, Fred, Cesar!! I'm sorry I wasn't able to get everyone's name but we look forward to being in touch about future projects.

I planned to do a moderate kitchen remodel, new quartz countertop, tile backsplash and refinishing hardwood floor, and repainting cabinets and walls. I interviewed 3 contractors and chose Elegant Kitchens and Bath because Gilbert gave me a very detailed bid and a reasonable price. Gilbert arranged for me to meet him in their showroom where there was such a huge choice of tile, counter tops, hardware etc. I was able to find what I wanted and work would start the following Monday. The project took 3 1/2 weeks, and I was very happy with the quality of workmanship. The counters look gorgeous and I love the way the tile backsplash anchors the whole kitchen. The refinish job on the floors make them look like new, and the repainted cabinets look new too. Of course there were small problems and miscommunications along the way, but Gilbert and Natalie always reacted quickly to solve the problems. Their workers were hard working and friendly. A special call-out to Jules for his knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile. I love my new kitchen, and I highly recommend Elegant Kitchens and Bath!

We recently remodeled our guest restroom and worked with Tim and Gilbert at Elegant Kitchens and Bath. Highly recommend the team. The entire process was great, from explaining our physical constraints (it was a very small restroom to begin with), to selecting the materials at their two showrooms, to working with them on unique solutions (we ended up building a pony wall and a glass partition). We are thrilled with the result. The only recommendation I would have is to go over the details up front; we had to make several decisions in the field at the time of installation (primarily placement of items like the shower fixtures, towel rack, over toilet cabinet, etc) that would have benefited from discussing with the team up front.

Gilbert and his crew were wonderful to work with. We recently remodeled our bathroom. Gilbert listened to what we were looking for and offered options that were perfect. The entire crew were respectful and did amazing work. We couldn't be happier with the final result. If we have anything we need done in the future we'll give Elegant Kitchens & Bath a call.

I had a kitchen that was falling apart and screaming for a redo and wanted to turn a dining room wall into a breakfast counter. Freddy and his team absolutely knocked it out of the park. I laid out my needs- what I hated about my old kitchen that I wanted changed the most, and what I wanted my new space to do for me...then we hashed out what was possible for my price point. It was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. Freddy invested the attention and care that one would hope for yet rarely sees with endeavors such as these, and he was available every step of the way. The one very noteworthy aspect of everyone who worked on the kitchen was how tidy, knowledgeable, and proud they were of their work. I can't wait to ring Freddy when I'm ready to tackle the bathrooms! It's no secret that deciding to get a new kitchen or bathroom is a big deal in every way, so do yourself a favor and call Elegant Kitchens & Bath. Talk to Freddy, and visit the showroom. He will walk you through all the possibilities--just an excellent company.

Countertop, tiles, and mosaic by Elegant Kitchen in Arcadia

Professionnel from start to finish. No change in first estimate. Reasonable price for a one piece countertop that was suggested for the area. Looks great. Tiles and mosaic on backsplash were put all in one day. Looks great. All work done by 2 different crews, both very knowledgeable teams, nice and polite workers. Great job!

I always hear nightmare stories of contractors stalling their jobs and trying to rip you off or not responding in a timely manner. But Amin and his team are truly professionals. Jose is like his right hand man and gets the job done. Not only getting the job done but does it very well. From his showroom, we were able to pick out all the designs that we wanted and seeing the end result, I was truly impressed. His prices are fair and he's upfront about everything. Amin will answer any questions you have throughout the entire process. Even if you text him at 9pm he will respond quick. If he says something will be done by a certain time frame, he will ensure that it is done. I really wanted LED mirrors at the end and he wasn't able to do it. We were even willing to pay extra for it! We ended up having to get plain, boring mirrors with no LED which was pretty disappointing. Also, one of the biggest issue I had was I wanted all the outlets changed since the previous ones were yellow and old but he said it'll be an additional charge. White walls and yellow outlets? EWWW!! We pretty much did a whole gut renovation and spent a fortune but couldn't get our outlets switched out. I thought it would be an easy switch but apparently he said it costs to change bc it has to do with the electrical aspect of it. Didn't know that but now I know. We ended up finding a handyman to do it at less than a fraction of his price. Although we had a few disagreements here and there but from start to finish, Amin was available to answer our questions, concerns and help fix anything. He is so easy to work with and made this whole process extremely seamless. The team was able to get everything done and we moved in on the date that we wanted to. I'm so glad we found Amin and his team!!

In 2018, we had our first project with Semihandmade, and it was outstanding. We used one of SHM recommended designers and the level of support and attention to detail was perfect; our final kitchen, pantry and laundry room were beautiful! As it turned out, our home was featured in Atomic Ranch in its 2021 Design Issue, where I spoke highly of Semihandmade in that interview. We were very proud and recommended their products and services to many people over the years. After moving to Asheville, we planned another kitchen renovation and launched that in January of 2025. Even though our former designer had moved to Modern Twig, we chose Semihandmade again based on our past experience. Unfortunately, this time has been very different. We ordered roughly $28,000 in cabinet fronts-- the largest single expense in our kitchen renovation. We understood the delivery timeline, but the order arrived in separate shipments without advance notice. When my husband (who installed both kitchens) discovered one incorrect cabinet setup and a missing drawer front, he reached out to their customer service. The response from Deanna Bade was essentially, "read your contract," which I found dismissive and frankly did not sit well with me. It was clear from our IKEA design submission that our order had been entered correctly on our side but miscoded in the SHM system. My expectation was to hear, "Sorry that happened--let us make it right." Instead, I received a lecture on treating her "like a professional" before she agreed to resolve the issue--an interaction that left me feeling unwelcome as a customer. Later, as installation progressed, we discovered that the walnut doors were noticeably different in color--clearly not from a single batch, as SHM advertising promises. When I raised this, I was told replacement would require approval from the "walnut manufacturer" and would be done as a "courtesy remake." I had to remind her that Semihandmade--not a third party--was my point of purchase and that this was a quality control failure, not a favor. This caused weeks of delay, but even after the replacements arrived, there was no follow-up to confirm receipt, check color consistency, or offer an apology by Deanna or SHM customer service, only a request to do a survey. I am shocked and saddened at the decline of Semihandmade whom I have raved about for years. Given Deanna Bade describes herself as "Customer Experience Manager with a proven track record in resolving complex issues and driving customer satisfaction", she did not execute at this level at all. I realize this must be a very hard job if there is a lot of customer dissatisfaction with product and operations (which seems to be possible based on reviews), and if that is the case, this ultimately is a reflection on Semihandmade's commitment as a company to quality of product and services. Given the strong competition in this industry, I would think this is not the quality of product SHM wants to deliver or the standard of service SHM want for their customers. Mistakes happen, but a willingness to "bend over backwards" to correct them makes all the difference. Sadly, even after the new walnut order arrived, given the delay in time we realized we could not rip out our entire kitchen and start all over, so the previous construction with panels, built in shelving, etc. that had begun had to stay the same and will always be slightly off in color, a forever reminder. I reached out to the CEO, John McDonald, who did respond and apologized, which was good; but did not offer to compensate us for our customer stress, delay or final mixed matched cabinetry (although I did not ask for one either) - my point was to ensure at the top he knew how much SHM had fallen in my eyes. I've gone from being one of their strongest advocates to feeling I can no longer recommend Semihandmade. I hope my experience helps SHM to identify areas to improve both quality control and customer care, but mostly that you as a customer like me is warned and seriously looks at all the other options before you purchase from this company, I wish we had.
