So where do I start, I called to make the appointment I specifically told them what I wanted, when I get to my appointment she acted like she had no clue, while getting the pedi done she cut me 4 times, then she proceeded to put on the acrylic while I was clearly needing a few nails on so I had to repeat myself a couple of times. My appointment was at 2 pm and I didn't leave until 4:30 pm this was ridiculously crazy. I had an appointment at 4 somewhere else so I had to push that appointment back. Not to mention she seemed frustrated too, she kept throwing things around. I'll continue my search for a good nail salon that actually listens without me having to repeat myself and won't take so much time for it. I am beyond pissed. 2 1/2 hours for toes is NOT ok. Don't come here unless you plan on wasting your entire day. And the toes didn't come out how I wanted them. Worst ever. (Her name was Vivian) & charged me $95. Never again read more

Wonderful nail salon! Everyone is kind & friendly, even offered bottled water. They take walk-ins without an appointment, which was helpful. Hurt!! It took a long long time. I had one person doing my toes and one doing my nails. The scrubber they use for your feet its very painful and rough. The foot rub was maybe 10 seconds. The SNS dremel too hurt so bad. They people were nice I guess but it hurt a lot. More than it should. I got there at 9:30am and didn't leave till 11:30am. All in all it was $80 for sns and basic pedicure w/tip for each person. read more

Posting on behalf of my wife and her party of five today...similar to the other reviews...They were met with the same rude-ness of staff. The service was prompt as each person was brought to their chairs soon after arriving. The attention to detail was lacking as my niece was nipped with their clipper three times. (Drawing blood). Five hours after leaving two of our ladies nails are chipping off. The experience should be somewhat welcoming and inviting. Usually this increases your tips when you're in the service business. Speaking of tips...the group tipped 20% of their total bill. As they walked to the door, they were questioned by one of the technicians ensuring that each tech was given a tip. They were chased out the door by this same woman asking them if they tipped another employee which didn't even perform a service to them. Stay away from this place until they figure out customer service...Welcome people in your store appropriately. Make the experience enjoyable. Provide a quality product. Listen to your customer (& your Yelp reviews) Tips are complimentary to good service, not required. read more

Horrible!! Went in for a pedicure, she ended up cutting my skin on TWO toes! She had to use something to make the bleeding stop and now they are very sore. I have never, ever had a pedicure cut my skin. I will never go back. read more

I keep trying to support the "locals" but sorry, moving on from this place. Unless you are a "big spender" and trust me they know who they are by how they greet them verses " just a regular mani-pedi " low life. I use to come here all the time before school started. I went again today with my brother and I must say I doubt I'll be returning. The lady who did my brother's pedicure was amazing however mine was not. She was scrubbing the dead skin off my feet and it hurt like crazy. I look down and I'm bleeding in two spots. I mention that I'm bleeding and if she would stop but instead kept going then poured what seemed to be alcohol on the cuts (which you should never do). She tried to laugh it off but 30 minutes later my foot is still burning in pain. They also charged my brother for gel polish when nowhere on the bottle did it say it was gel. read more

Have been going to the same salon for the past 15 years. Due to changes in personnel and not liking a new tech who did my nails, I decided to make a change. Neighbors recommended Elegant Nails, and WOWIE WOW is it GREAT! The tech that helped me Xoun (Sean) was incredible! GREAT pedicure, and leg massage. Wine is also a choice as a beverage (nice touch). I went yesterday for a eyebrow wax. The women at the front directed me to go to the room in the back and wait. The room had a bench covered in a towel that seem to have been there for a while and not changed for each customer. After waiting for nearly a half hour, the technician came in and put a fresh towel on top at my insistence. She immediately grabbed scissors and started to cut my brows. I asked her to stop and brush them or at least give me a mirror, she said ok and continued. I should have left then but because I have an event today and she had started, I let her continue. She completely changed the shape of my brows, she covered my eyes and brows with baby oil and then massaged my forehead-even when I asked her to stop. I try to be polite and find it very hard to be rude but this was the worst experience I've ever had. She clearly did not know what she was doing. This morning my eyes are still blurry from the baby oil and my brows look horrible. read more

I've been here multiple time and was just not happy with my experience, I'm 18 years old and when I walk in I'm treated like a child and not with the same respect given to other clients. They sat me in a chair and left me there for 30 minutes without saying a work to me. A lady finally got to me but was aggressive and ended up cutting me with the file multiple time and not apology each time I flinched. She then kept asking who was paying as if I didn't walk in the shop alone. My nails turned out average and were over priced even with the student discount. read more

Moved to the area last month so decided to stop by since it was close to the house. My manicure took no more than 10 minutes.....cuticles we're not done right, nail was filed slanted to the left, polish on my skin, polish was placed on so thick that it formed bubbles. Zen did my manicure.... My pedicure was a little better but I will be looking for a new place. read more

The business wasn't that nice-looking when I walked inside, but the chairs were nice enough. I got a pedicure and the guy (he seemed to be co-owner) was very neat and thorough and also helped my ingrown nail, but that made me all the more nervous because his finger nails were so dirty. Really gross and I should've stopped him. You would think with being parked in the midst of such a well-to-do community that this business would have higher standards of decor and cleanliness. Just moved to area so I was looking for a new nail salon and decided to try this one. They were busy but able to get me right in for a pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was nice however my nails did not look nice when she was finished. The nails were not cut evenly and the polish is very sloppy. There was polish on my skin on some toes and on others the nail wasn't completely polished. No cuticle was removed at all. I'm the least picky person when it comes to my nails but this was really disappointing. I won't be going back to try again and don't recommend this salon at all. read more

Most unwelcome nail salon I have ever been to in my life. I walk in with only two women waiting and get "greeted" by a young man who works there telling me the wait is an hour long. Because I have nothing planed for my Sunday afternoon I told him i didn't mind waiting. He gave me a concerned look walked to the back and cane up seconds later telling me "I'm sorry, an hour and a half wait, you can go somewhere else." The staff here are rude and nasty! The older woman that does pedicures, NEVER wears gloves . The male tech , Warren rushes through the pedicure just to sensually massage your feet and rub through each toe . I'm sure he has a foot fetish, he seems to love rubbing feet more than actually executing a pedicure . Cindy acts as if she has better things to do , her attitude is terrible! Got french tip nails, looked pretty good but she made the main part clear rather than a light pink which caused them to look see through and kind of weird. I got a full set of acrylics with gel and two of them fell off after 4 days of being on without me messing with them. don't think I'll be going back here again. read more

NEVER AGAIN! Mya was rude and confrontational and the manager Nicole supported it. I showed Mya a picture of a basic manicure and her exact words were "that's a model's nails, not your nails." I should have left then because she showed her lack of knowledge. Most people go in a nail salon with reference pics. What she should have said was that she didn't know how to execute the desired look. She added nails, but if she were a knowledgeable nail tech, all she had to do was use a "form" to make length, to prevent the wide, bulky nail look. She kept insisting that she knew what she was doing, but I left the salon with exactly what I didn't want. She even stormed off while doing my nails because she got upset that I kept asking her to shorten my nails. I later found out that when she was yelling to her mgr., she was telling her to do my nails because she didn't want to deal with me. Mya was SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! They were not service based or customer service oriented AT ALL!! Please read other's reviews before stepping foot in the door...I wish that I would have read reviews before coming here. When the mgr. checked me out, I asked how to remove my nails and she simply informed me, not even the least bit phased by my HORRIBLE experience! ZERO OUT OF 10, HIGHLY GHETTO, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. I asked for an American manicure which is just like a French except without a bright white on the tips. The woman had no clue what I was talking about. I had to pick out the white for the tips snd the woman never painted a color (pink) on my nails! I didn't notice until she was done. the white on the tips was not wide enough because you can see where the line is on my fail where my natural white starts. my son is getting married this weekend. if the was ever a time I9 wanted my nails done correctly, it was this week. Pedicure could have used another coat of Polish and it doesn't appear there is a top coat. berry disappointed :) read more

Use to love it here. After new owner ship, this place has gone down hill. they jacked up their prices, service quality is not great. I asked for a different shape then square & they wanted to charge an extra 3$. Very rude with talking to you, & barely make eye contact with you. I went here with a wedding party, and I doubt I'll return. My nails looked fine when we left, but my pedicure was less than 20 minutes from start to finish - my nails were trimmed but not shaped, callus removal was minimal, and the massage was practically non existent. I had a gel manicure when I went in which she used a drill to remove leaving my fingers sore for a few days. She didn't ask what shape or length I wanted my nails to be - I prefer short squared and ended up with long rounded. I went ahead and just told her I wanted a third coat of gel because I'm sure she wouldn't ask. She was very stand offish which made my manicure very unpleasant. Now, a week later, the gel is peeling off, I've already had to cut and reshape my finger nails, and my feet are rough from the poor pedicure. I'll be returning to my regular salon sooner than expected! read more
