Horrible place. They're very aggressive. She clipped my skin during my pedicure and then I heard the girl 3 seats down from me also screech of pain. They cut your fingers nails down so far to the skin That it hurts and it also looks horrible. It's also very dirty. Go somewhere else. read more

Unsanitary. 3 people, including me, have gotten infections after getting pedicures here. They use Tide Detergent as hand soap and in the foot baths! One of the mal technicians has really long fingernails, and he uses them, without gloves, to scrape your nails. And they get very pissy and throw fits if you don't pay cash. My mother went in for a simple acrylic job, she hasn't had acrylics in a very long time. So she wanted something short and simple. So my mom always checks her nails to make sure they aren't lumpy (because if the acrylic job is lumpy, the polish job will be very lumpy) so when she did she said "could you please fix this it's lumpy and there is a dent in them"? the nail tech said " i'll fix it after i file them." my mom said "okay". So after she filed them, her nails were still very lumpy. (i personally felt her nails and they had a huge dent, and they were very lumpy) So my mom said "they are still very lumpy, could you please fix them? i don't want the nail polish to be lumpy" the nail tech said " no they are fine, you complain and complain and just don't wanna pay." my mom said (politely the most nicest way) " they are lumpy could you please feel them, so i can show you what they feel like?" the nail tech absolutely refused to feel them... so she called her other nail tech over and they started talking in a different language about my mother and her nails. Then my mom told the other nail tech who came over "they are very lumpy, could you please feel what i am talking about?" the other nail tech refused to feel them as well. Then the nail tech, got up from her table and started putting her stuff away, my mom said "wait would you please fix my nail, that's all i want?" Then the lady said "no, you complain and complain, you just want your nails done for free that's all you want." my mother said " no please could you feel? they are lumpy i have to go to my fathers funeral pls?" they said no. So my mother was getting frustrated and went outside to take a break. (my aunt was in the nail shop also) The nail tech who did my moms nails had already moved on to the next customer, and she was talking about how my mom wanted it for free and she was just complaining. So my aunt asked if you could please not talk about her, she just wanted you to fix her nails, they are very lumpy. The nail tech ignored her. The nail tech who wasn't doing my moms nails, said "she want this she want that, she want she want she want. all she wanted is her nails done for free." My aunt politely said " but we are the customers aren't we supposed to tell you what we would like?" the nail tech ignored her and walked away. I absolutely do not recommend this nail shop. Please do not go there. I would not want this to happen to anyone else. read more

Never again will we be back! My daughter went in to get an eyebrow wax for prom. The lady who did the wax, spilled wax into my daughters eye. She still got charged. We asked for the owners name and number, and no one knows the information. Asked for he licence number of the lady who waxed, and it some how is not available. I called and the lady who answered the phone, also said she had no idea who owned the salon and hung up. I will be contacting the health department for not providing a licence number (must not be a licenced salon). read more

I started coming here when my pregnant belly prevented my at-home pedis. I've been 3 times and it's good. Though the workers speak a different language (English as 2nd language), they make sure you are happy and well tended to. The atmosphere is a bit too casual for my preference at times; as a technician begins on you, she may leave you to work on someone else (temporarily). The amenities are vast: from the massage chair options you control, the hot shoulder wrap you are given, the foot scrub/stone massage/paraffin dip and the great customer service you are given, the $23 dollars seems like quite a deal. 2 complaints I have: 1. I prefer lighter pink polishes which they are lacking, and 2. the strong smell of chemicals is quite strong by the front door, which is where you end your purchase at the drying station (if the smells bother you, they will give you a mask that does work well). This place is clean, pretty and friendly and I would recommend it to others. I would recommend to the shop that offering a free beverage would go a long way to customer retention and overall satisfaction. Hope this review helps you in choosing a salon for yourself. read more

Absolute slowest place I've ever been, will not come back, feet in water for hour and a half

I just recently started to go to this salon, we were at Wally World and decided we'd treat ourselves to some shellac nails, it was a very relaxed and casual atmosphere which I loved, it was a little dusty around the nail desks, but nothing a quick sweep and vacuum couldn't fix, they did a very great job on them and they didn't peel at all! They have a vast variety of colors and glitter colors. So we decided to go just this last week again and get pedicures and oh my gosh it was SO super relaxing! The chairs where clean no dust on anything on their chemical nail stuff stands in between the chairs, I was wearing a dress and they got me a nice white towel to place over my lap so I felt more comfortable, for $23 you get a full on pedi spa luxurious treatment with a hot wax dip, hot stones, towel wrap and the whole 9 yards of calf massages and oil rubs! Also when We were all done they washed the feet basins out and all their tools and made me feel more secure about the sanitation because I'm always sketched out considering I have sensitive toes. I will defiantly be getting my toes done there for now on! the ladies are so nice too, I just picked out a glitter polish and she quickly got up and grabbed a couple complementing base colors that I didn't even think of doing and it turned out so great! Defiantly my GO TO nail spa for now on! read more

Used to love pedicures... until, the unexpected happened... I got an INFECTION! Never thought it would happen to me. She dug too deep and caused a red infected toe with an abscess/puss pocket. OUCH! Ended up going to two doctors a week apart ($$$). The second, podiatrist, took out part of my toe nail and had to dig out the infection. Now I'm stuck wearing sandals/flip flops for 6 weeks, two foot soaks a day, ointment and bandages until it heals. So much for riding my bike, swimming or doing all the things I love. After my doctor visits, I went to let Elegant Nails know what happened so they would be aware and not do to anyone else. She proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that the person was probably trying to fix an ingrown toenail, which I'm not sure that's their job. Besides, my doctor said I didn't have an ingrown toenail. In a nutshell.... anyone can get an INFECTION from a pedicure and it's really PAINFUL. read more

I used to go here a lot since it was close. Then the lady started making pay in cash. Not just that but actually go to the ATM machine and pull cash out to pay, and not just for the tip but the entire bill. Like seriously? I have been going to Elegant Nails for several years for pedicures. Last week when I went they asked me to pay cash instead of using my debt card to save them a processing fee. I said I didn't pay with cash and since I had my wallet open she said "you have cash or you can withdraw money from the ATM machine." Why would I pay a fee to withdraw money from the ATM machine? I gave her the cash I had that just covered the pedicure and tip and left. I will not be going back. Any business that doesn't accept debit cards and doesn't write down appointments is probably not paying taxes on the service they did. read more

I have only received friendly service and My nails always look great. Never lift and always get complements on how lovely they are. I've been here 3 times, the first experience was great other than my girl coughed directly on my hands multiple times. I still told my friends I like this place though as they were friendly. However it happened again the second time I went in. The third time, a had another gal who also coughed on my hands... she also (accidentally?) placed my hands on a used towel with another person's skin and nail clippings. Instead of admitting her mistake and I feeling too awkward to say anything had my hands repeatedly patted by this used towel, but I could see that she noticed it was used. Uhg... this business is horrible! My husband bought our daughter and I $35 gift certificates to have our nails done, we went in today and they refuse to honor them. I didn't go in expecting much. They are a place that has the menu of services and she was very pushy to give me the "deluxe" pedicure, which was $10 more than the base, boasting hot rock massage, longer massage, etc...she did use hot rocks and paraffin wax but was in a mad rush to attend to another girl waiting that came in for a manicure so she'd go back and forth between us. My polish turned out good, but next time I'll just get a "polish change" and definitely skip their deluxe service as it was not deluxe at all. Afterwards, they ask that you get cash from their ATM sitting in their lobby, she says, "no service fee" for cash. Wrong! It didn't come up out of my account until my withdrawal processed but there is a $2.50 fee taken out of my account to use their ATM! So, I'm giving 1 star to this place because she lied, and also because their service is just not that great! I definitely won't go back or recommend my friends go here either. read more

I've been coming here for years. The best nail shop for gel nails. I have always had nails fall off quickly, the owner Queeny is the best and they never lift and I get compliments on how great they look. They also do fabulous pedicures and are really great with little girls. My daughter loves to go in with me and she gets the children's mani/pedi and they always do extras like making flowers and designs on her toes and fingers. Great place, very reliable! :). read more
