Linda is an incredibly talented make up artist who did my make up for my engagement photo session. She's very responsive when I tried to arrange the appointment time. Throughout the entire process she was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful about my concern doing an up-do with my really thin hair and having my scalp show through in places it should not. We had a makeup and hair trial several months prior to my wedding day and overall I was very happy with those results, but Linda really wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and so she scheduled another hair and makeup trial FOR FREE to ensure that my scalp was fully covered by my up-do and that my makeup was spotless. Between the first and second makeup trials Linda also researched and discovered a new way to use eyelid tape to even out my eyelids so we played around with the new tape at the second trial. She gave me very professional advice to postpone my photoshoot as I had these terrible suntan lines. I showed her a few pictures of hairstyles I liked and she helped me narrow them down based on the type of hair I had, the casual style of my wedding, and my outfit. I first worked with Linda earlier this year as a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding. Our wedding was in August, and Linda was amazing to work with from the initial trial through the wedding day. She's very down to earth and super sweet, and her work clearly shows the experience and knowledge from years working in the wedding industry. Throughout the trial, Linda took the time to go through every step with us and was very transparent with her techniques. Linda was amazing! She was incredibly professional and was very responsive through out the entire process, not something you can say about every vendor you work with. I used Linda for both hair and make up, as did members in my bridal party. I did a trial with Linda prior to booking her for my wedding and I was impressed from the very beginning. In a matter of hours, she transformed me into what I had always dreamed of I would look like on my wedding day, from just a short conversation and a few photos. After leaving the appointment, I found a few small things that I really wanted to change for the day of. I emailed her about the changes and got an immediate response. She assured me I did not need to pay for another trial, but that she would be able to make all those changes on the day of without a problem. I was a little hesitant not to do another trial, but she was absolutely correct. From those few short emails, she was able to make every change we had discussed perfectly. She has clearly had a vast amount of experience because she gave me the information for the lipstick I would be wearing that day in the event I wanted to purchase it for touch ups, something I hadn't thought about yet. On the day of, she showed up right on time and got straight to work. She was very flexible with the order of events considering other members of my bridal party were using her as well. She had given me a general timeline for events and she was spot on. One of the things I was looking for when searching for a hair and make up artist was personality. I knew this person would be in my bridal suite all day and I wanted to ensure this person would be personable and keep stress to a minimum and I have to say she was the perfect person for the job. She kept everything very calm and ensured I had any time I needed for other items even while she was working on me. I was very impressed with her right at the end of the day as well. After she finished with me, she didn't take off right away. I was getting dressed and taking pictures and she waited there to ensure anything I needed right up to the wedding was taken care of. This to me was above and beyond anything she needed to do. She stayed there until I was almost ready to walk down the aisle to assure that if I messed anything up she was there to fix it. Linda is an amazing person to work with and I would recommend her to anyone. Everyone in my bridal party loved working with her as well and they were also very impressed with her work. Linda is the sweetest person on the planet and she does the best hair and makeup. In all my life, I have never felt romantic, but that's how she made me feel on my wedding day. The hair was beautiful, the makeup was beautiful, and she was great. She did hair and makeup for my mom and bridesmaids as well, and they looked fantastic. Linda was flexible and wanted to make sure that we were happy with our final look. She also had an assistant there to help. I was happy to find out that her assistant also had her own company but her and Linda take turns helping each other. I was glad that I wasn't getting someone who was learning, or fresh out of school. We got true professionals and the results were evident. I highly recommend her and I will use her any time I ever need my hair and makeup done. read more

Linda was very professional and did an amazing job with my makeup. She was very open to input and took the time to ask what I preferred. I felt that she did a great job of opening up my eyes, picking out the colors that matched well with my skin tone, and made sure that everything would show up in pictures but at the same time not look to dark / garish. I usually use a lot of black eyeliner and it was really nice to see makeup that stood out and looked great without needing a lot of the black eyeliner. She took time to do some face contouring, I saw that she also helped the other bridesmaids with eyelid tape, and she also fixed my horrible tanlines so that they were not as noticeable in pictures. She also took the time to let me know what brand/colors were the blush and lipstick she used on me after I asked. Also at the end of the night, the makeup stayed firm, and very minor smudging (which was less than I expected given wedding tears and the way my eyelids work). Overall Linda took the time to produce a great and professional look, she listened to what we wanted and had a pleasant personality which all contributed to an overall positive experience. Linda and her assistant did an amazing job!! My wedding was June 28, 2015 so this post is a little late. But I have to give Linda the recognition that she deserves. I planned my wedding all the way from Boston area, so having a vendor who has everything together was essential for me. Linda was just that, she was professional and was easy to communicate with via phone and email whenever I had questions or ideas to run by her. She truly listened to my suggestions and ideas. Also she was very flexible in fitting me into her busy schedule when I came down to visit the area, in order to have my makeup and hair trial done. I must also note how her organization and itinerary made my wedding day go very smoothly, we were even an hour before schedule and everyone looked amazing. They did a full wedding parties makeup and hair (4 bridesmaids, flower girl, and bride), and the results were very top quality. We looked amazing all day.
