I am obsessed with this place. I plan to go back many times! There are SO many games to choose from for all ages. There is also food and drinks. Definitely visit and buy some stuff to keep this great place open!

We visited this place for some game time and coffee. All of our coffee drinks were delicious. We spent a couple of hours with friends and played Splendor. We did have some pretzel with beer cheese that was tasty. Our friends had some sandwiches and salads that looked good. All in all a really fun place to relax with the family.

Fourth morning in Nashville and 4th morning at Bongo East. Amazing, friendly, airy coffee house. Staff are all nice and accommodating. She had the muffin twice and oatmeal with fruit the first morning. She loved the oatmeal, even though she couldn't eat the fruit that came with it (bananas) that she is allergic to. Obviously loved the muffin, cuz she repeated on the freshly prepared tasty. Me? I had the fresh avocado with tomatoes, mini black beans, red onion, cheese and melt in your mouth good breakfast burrito. Sadly...we will be returning to Buffalo with only memories of this wonderful coffee house to think of when sipping our Tim Hortons.

Very chill place to hang out. They have a very nice selection of different board games ranging from party games to strategy games. Love playing the game Sequence. Very simple game to learn that involves no talking which is surprisingly really fun. Place is also decently sized to accommodate a good amount of people. They sell food, drinks, snacks. The only minor downside for me was the lighting. Made the environment feel more like a warehouse rather than a homey cafe. Overall, nice place to play games and hang out with friends

Game point continues to be a regular visit throughout my week. The evening staff tend to cater more towards the game point side, in addition to the bongo east aspect. Staff are always so friendly and will help explain games to you or even make recommendations. Check out their website for regular gaming events as well. The options are (pretty) limitless and if you like a game, they even have a section of games up for sale -- that is continuously being restocked and updated. Great place to hang out with friends or go out on a date!

My wife and I stopped at Little Hats while visiting our daughter in Germantown, and wow, this place…read moredid not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was super tender, packed with flavor, and the sandwich was huge. I only made it through half and ended up eating the rest later that night. It was just as good the second time around. My wife had the Spicy Italian, and she loved it. The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. I'd give this a 5 out of 5 stars.

We went to the Germantown location, which has a huge, really nice patio and a bar area. We ordered at the counter and didn't get any drinks, but I definitely want to come back and spend more time checking out the retail section because it looked great. I got the chicken Parm sandwich, and while it was good, I felt like it needed a little more flavor. I'm probably a little picky with Italian delis since I'm from New England and have had some really great options, so my expectations were high. I think I need to try another sandwich next time. My sister got the soup, and it came in a big bowl and was really good. Overall, everything was solid, but I did think it was a little expensive for a takeaway deli. We spent around $40, which felt a little high for what we got. I will definitely come back for the patio. It seemed dog friendly, and I'm always looking for new spots to bring my pup. The atmosphere is great, and I'd like to come back to try more of the menu.

I am absolutely sure that in the hour my friend and I were waiting, six other other customers were seated ahead of us. Standing for an hour is okay but only if they're actually taking the customers in order. But then we were seated and with the small menu, I was able to order. A few minutes later, Big Al shouts, "Does anyone want a cinnamon bun?" and I have never been closer to taking a walk from my keto diet. But I was good and only drooled a little watching the couple sitting next to us split theirs. It smelled so good. Brunch arrived and we've now been at Big Al's for 90 minutes. I had selected the day's special, the FOUR egg steak omelet which I had with peppers and onions *filled* the plate. Sloppy and tasty and loaded with probably half a pound of sliced steak. I only took one small bit of my biscuit - fluffy and light but heavy and dense. Delicious. My friend had a concoction that I can only call The Coronary Plate: Fried eggs, fried potatoes, fried chicken. Half of a fried chicken that looked better than anything I've ever seen at KFC or Popeye's or my own beloved Bojangles. Crispy, slightly burned but a light batter and a juicy center. Yeah, get that. Big Al's is an anachronism. The food is cooked by hand, it's delicious and it stands halfway down the block of a completely residential neighborhood. You'll be driving the last couple of blocks and wondering, what am I getting in to? Trust me, they're probably open. Pro tip: Try the gravy. It's spicy! Turnover is quick, so even when they are at capacity, and the waiting list looks daunting, you should still put your name down. We were told the chalkboard has the specials, and shrimp and grits are available on the weekends. I loved my shrimps and grits. The grits were so hearty and buttery, and the shrimp had a good amount of spice. We also got the sweet potato chorizo hash, which had the perfect amount of slight heat and special spice blend. (The spices looked red, but I don't know what they were other than paprika??) Both dishes came with biscuits, generously buttered. We were told the biscuits and gravy were special, because the chef does a brown gravy instead of the white gravy. We felt like we had enough food, but if I am ever back in town, I'd try this dish. You'll want to walk off this meal, but don't miss it if you're in Nashville!

I love the avocado and ruffles added as a welcomed addition to a classic turkey club type of sub. Add in that it is all on a fresh Dutch roll and it is a chefs kiss! Proper levels of savory and tangy with all the toppings that make this sandwich what it is and texturally complex. The staff was busy but attentive and patient with everyone even during the Saturday lunch rush. The owners are front and center working with all the staff at the counter and in the kitchen prepping all the food and adding to the hospitality and small business feel that makes you enjoy spending your time and money at a place like this. It is a nice touch that they have a dip come with any pretzel ordered. The pepperoni stuffed pretzel was solid heated up, but for me was lacking the option of a marinara type sauce to dip it in. The everything bagel is properly seasoned the way I like it not sparing a bit of open space on the surface and fully covered in seasoning. These pretzels are unique in shape and have you wanting to come back and try all the different varieties, both regular and special unique danish and dessert pretzel infusions. I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches and desserts!
