I went to Perfect Skin twice a few years ago for a laser treatment on a port wine stain birthmark. At the time they used the Gemini laser (for lack of a more accurate label). It was effective and I was very happy with the results. This time he used a different laser. I cannot express how less painful it was! I mean, considerably less painful than all of the treatments I've ever had. I've had so much anxiety associated with the pain of the pulses and I can honestly say it was the best experience I've ever had getting treatment. The staff and doctor himself are great. I've never been vain, but I found, when I would catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror thinking " that old woman can't be me" The woman I saw in the mirror (which I try to avoid) wasn't how I felt, an active, energetic 74 year old. My mother very often would encourage me and would say "with a little help, you could look like you feel, young and energetic." She made me promise I would get work done. Unfortunately, she passed without seeing the amazing and hard to believe results, she so badly wanted for me. Having melisma I had been looking for a local office who can do a fraxel treatment (or series of treatments) for some time. I had called several locations (dermatologists, med spas etc.) and this location said they had what I needed and I scheduled a consultation. I also scheduled with three other locations, to give me the confidence in my choice. First off, when I went in the girl behind the desk (very nice) gave me some paperwork to fill out then escorted me to an office where she made a few suggestions and explained that Dr. Burgmeier would be in momentarily to conclude the consult. I was surprised that the receptionist was making such strong suggestions as to what laser would best benefits me, but I chalked it up to get gaining experience and assumed maybe she was in school and so forth. Long story short Dr. Bugmerier came in looking disheveled AF and not to mention he had a gosh darn BANDAID ON HIS FACE, who covers a blemish with a band aid, especially in the beauty industry. I'd have felt much better seeing him in a full highlighter and contour with some heavy KVD concealer over a dang band aid, that alone is SKETCHY. Anyways, he sat down, got a quick summary from the receptionist and without asking me a single question about my history, skin, routine, previous procedures or anything spouted what he would do, the cost (which changed several times in between the "consult" and the follow up call I had to get more info) and he hurried out of the room as quickly as he entered. 600 partial face laser and that was that. The consultation, including wait time, was n total 9 minutes.... He was in the room a total of 4 minutes and that was that. Of course I will not be seeking treatment from this location as it was wildly unprofessional, hurried, he seemed like he had a few screws loose and so I will be taking my business elsewhere. There is something OFF about this guy, I question his bedside manner and credentials heavily before even sending my worst enemy in to be treated by him. read more

Save yourself the $25 for the consult fee. Here's your consult. Whatever laser service you are interested in will be $600. Dr. B rushed into the room and didn't even give more than a few moments to discuss why I was there and what services they offered. All he kept rapidly repeating was two services and one, he'd just throw in for me. It would be $600 and he figured about 3 sessions would do. He directed me to finish my paperwork but at that point I was so taken aback at how little he tried to know about my history and motivation for a laser service. I walked out and proceeded to call from inside my vehicle to request a refund on what they called a consult. The girl said, "let me find out how to do that for you." Puts me on hold and then Dr. B picks up the phone and said, "hello, you have a question about the consult?" Which I felt was a horrible move on the girl to put me back on the line with the individual that I just described how horrible my consult was to. So I again told the doctor that I was told a refund would not be difficult at the initial booking and simply wanted my money back. Honestly, this office might very well be very good at what they do for people's skin, but their initial approach was so off putting and rushed. What was the point of a consult if all you're going to say is, that ALL your services are $600 (each session)? Just save my time and post the prices online instead of making people go through the anxiety filled rushed "consult" with Dr. B! read more

This is a review for fillers and not any laser treatments (at least not yet). I did an inquiry by their website and received a call the next day. My schedule is ridiculous so we played phone tag for a bit and I finally just dropped into the office and made an Appt. The front desk folks are attentive and we made the appointment. She gave me brochures of different types of fillers and costs. I like that they weren't shy about the cost..... I went in completely nervous...40 years old and have noticed the bags and dark circles under my eyes become more prominent in pictures (as in I've become accustomed to filters) - not to mention my lips have thinned over the years (they used to be full and plump). I "real self'ed" myself into a tizzy of possible bruises, bumps and lumps along with every other horrific scenario, but I decided to at least go for the consultation. I am SO glad I did, the doctor listened to my concerns, I told him exactly what I wanted and exactly what I didn't want! I did enough research to know I wanted Restylane and not Jevederm - he happily obliged and was actually already intending to use that product based on what I was asking for. 40 minutes later, I left feeling completely renewed and looking in awe at my lips and my eyes! I purposefully had dinner with my parents then went home and hung out with the hubby - NO ONE is the wiser. I can completely tell, but those who see me everyday haven't noticed a thing. I have many friends who are older and younger who get fillers all the time and I like their results but you could see where the needle went....Dr. B entered and exited in such a way that you ABSOLUTELY can't tell! No bruising, no aching, no marks from where the needle went....I'm ecstatic! I wanted to wait two weeks before submitting a review - but I just couldn't. GO! Go now! He's amazing and just really takes the time to look at your face and know where to put it and how much....during the procedure we started to go over the 1 full vile he initially quoted me for and he offered to stop and I can come back if I felt I needed more....I told him just use more and do what he thinks is best...$195 difference of what I was quoted and allowing him to "do his thing" would've been worth $1000! It's not about how others see us, it's about how we see ourselves....I did this for me and I will be doing this ONLY with Dr. B from now on! read more

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. Not only is Dr. Burgmeier extremely unprofessional but I paid close to $10,000 and have not received the results I was promised. I have been receiving laser hair removal for 9 YEARS!!!! After approaching Dr. Bergmeier with my dissatisfaction he offered me a $500 refund (which is clearly no where near my investment) and he asked me not to come back. WOW!!! What other business in the world can you pay that kind of money, have very little results and then have them tell you to hit the bricks? Not only am I personally offended by Dr. Bergmeier but their lasers did not do the job I paid "Perfect Skin" to produce. For laser hair removal at the Scottsdale location, they are ok. Morning appointments are very tricky to get and twice they canceled my appointment and I didn't find out till after I arrive and waited and waited and finally called to find out they canceled, and no call to let me know. Which wouldn't be bad but I work graveyards (get off at 7 AM from downtown Phoenix) and the place is almost 30 miles from my home in deer valley and the earliest appointment they have is about 10 AM. The tech is nice though, and the shopping at the boutique is a nice distraction while I wait. They do a good job, I just dislike the availability and how difficult it is to schedule an appointment at a convenient time for me. read more

I went to this location in the past to get tattoo removal. I wouldn't recommend getting it done here because the laser damaged the muscle in my arm where they tried to remove my tattoo with laser but everytime I had a treatment they would increased the laser power and rush through the process even when i asked them to go slowly because of the burning flesh pain. Even after 10 treatments it still did not remove the tattoo fully. Now I live everyday with my arms and shoulders in pain and its ben years. The only way to get rid of the pain is with pain itself it goes away temporarily and the throbbing pain usually returns. Ive never injured my arm this started after I got these laser treatments. read more

Purchased a groupon for laser hair removal services. Appointments were fairly easy to make. The website is a bit jumbled since they offer a billion different services. They have two locations. The Tempe location was hard to find in the beginning because it's right off the highway mixed in a bunch of different offices and buildings. I didn't see a doctor but an assistant prepped me/took care of everything, for my hair removal service. Never even saw what the doctor looked like. Didn't have to wait for my service and immediately walked in and walked out in less than 30 minutes. They even call you a day ahead to remind you of your appointment. read more

Extremely overpriced compared to other clinics. I have been doing laser now for over 10 years and I was shocked how much the Laser Gemini is for the face here. This procedure only takes 30 mins on my face. What's even worse the girls on phone will not give you an idea of what the cost will be. I told her I want my entire face done. I came in for a consultation and he wanted to charge me double then what I normally pay. Dr. B was even fishing around trying to see what I normally pay so he could decide to raise the price. Their prices are all over the board. Seriously, for example call any other clinic and ask them a price for a certain procedure and they will tell you. Here they say well it depends. They then try to get you in the door and raise the prices. The office is very unorganized and the girls are not sure if you need numbing cream on certain procedures. I would not recommend this place. I was not pleased with lack of communication when they cancelled my appointment they reached out to reschedule only to get a little run around considering I had already paid, and beware on pricing on consultation I was quoted one price when I go to leave I was charged for another applicator which I told them only for what I paid already.. There was definitely lack of communication in different areas and that sucked but other than that I did like the staff and my results where worth I paying for second applicator.. I really believed there was nothing that would help me with my severe acne problem. My first visit was really promising and he assured me that my acne would not be a problem anymore. Very unprofessional I didn't feel comfortable how it was handled and I let her know then she seemed to be concerned. Do not waste your money on this procedure. I've had several tattoos removed here. No scaring. No discoloration, nothing abnormal. People have a hard time believing me, when I show them the areas I had tattoos. You'd never know and they weren't little tattoos either. I found Doctor Burgmeier years ago, around 2007 after I had been to other laser centers. Which their lasers didn't do anything. Once I found Doctor Burgmeier he was upfront with how many treatments I would need and it was a reasonable amount. I'd leave from a treatment and the tattoo would have already noticeably faded. He's a great doctor and has a laidback personality. The ladies up front are welcoming. Seriously, look no further. He's got the best lasers. I drive 45 minutes to his office because he's worth it!
