This located in the Embassy Suites and is the primary reason I stay here. The people who work here are fantastic especially the night staff. I haven't eaten here for anything else, but enjoy the simple selection and whatever I have had it's always done right. Inside is open and modern and always super clean. I have tried a few things off the menu and haven't been disappointed with anything. From a simple cesar salad to a rib eye for a hotel the food always hits on point. I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant of this quality inside an Embassy Suites. Katie W. provided outstanding service -- she made sure all my questions were answered and struck the perfect balance with her attentiveness. The food was solid as well. I was looking forward to eating at Elements since the idea of having more upscale American food in West Valley sounded appealing. While not everything was awful Elements still could improve in many ways. Food ordered: appetizer wings which were very delicious, crispy soaked in Buffalo sauce. I highly recommend those. Main course was the rib eye and grilled shrimp. Our plates came with salads that were very fresh. The rib eye was soaked in gravy maybe to add flavoring because the steak itself was lacking flavor and had no wow factor. To our disappointment the grilled shrimp lacked well grilling, it came out raw and still grey. I asked the waiter to take it back to get cooked and when he came back with it, it was obvious it was grilled pressed flat and had grill crumbs all over the shrimp. At least that way it was cooked, but still i was disappointment with the burned grill crumbs and the side rice was dry and tasted old. The place was clean, empty but nice. The waiter was nice and attentive. The restaurant is in the hotel and maybe will do good for guests but for me, I need more. Maybe add a 3rd steak option and better meat quality. I wouldn't rule this place out since it also has a bar with screens, I may only return for those wings. I really do wish West Valley can offer better dining, sadly Elements fell short of that for me. read more

After an hour long wait for a steak and our chicken we left with no food. After traveling all day all we wanted was to sit in our hotel and have a meal. Not have to travel any longer. But instead we had to go search for food after traveling all day and then waiting over an hour to serve two meals. We walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender/server was running around and we soon could tell she was the only person taking care of the tables and bar. She noted we sat down and said she would be with us shortly. However she never did. After waiting 21 minutes, we walked out. We saw a family come in and wait to be seated at a table, but they also walked out. Management should have jumped in to help the lone server. read more

My heart rate increased and I was salivating as I began to develop an awful rash on the inside of my cheek. I ordered a 18 oz steak, roasted tomato-demi, asparagus, with yukon gold whipped potatoes. I ordered it medium-rare, and I don't know how the Chef did it, but the first couple of cuts was cold and rare and the Interior was barely warm, but still rare. The asparagus was chewy, and the only thing acceptable was the mashed potatoes. Six minutes after leaving the restaurant, I had a severe allergic reaction as a horrible rash developed on the inside of my cheek and I struggled to breathe. I've since had all of the same foods elsewhere and have not had any issues nor reactions. If I wanted to have another near-death experience, I will visit here again. read more

My husband and I are staying in the Embassy Suites hotel and we didn't feel like going out for dinner so we dropped in the Elements Restaurant located in the hotel. The restaurant was very spacious and comfortable with nice booths cool bar area. We ate in the bar area and had a very attentive server. Nice menu with lots of choices and prices were very reasonable. I ordered the spinach walnut salad and hubby got the flatbread margarita pizza. Both were nice servings and delicious. Good price too! Had dinner here for the first time. My friends and I had a great time. The decor was lovely and comfortable. Our server, Kira, was sweet, cheerful, and very attentive. The manager, Mike, even checked on our table halfway through our meal. They are socially distancing their customers, extra cleaning, and all employees were wearing masks. All customers were wearing masks unless they were eating. It made me feel safe to eat there. We shared the sweet and spicy honey barbecue wings and these cool twisted scoop fries for starters. I ordered the Beyond Meat burger because I have never tried one before. It was so tasty, halfway through I had forgotten it was a vegan burger! For dessert I had the Bananas Foster Banana Bread. It was big chunks of banana bread topped with sautéed banana slices and walnuts in a sweet sauce. Mmm-mmm-mmm! Delicious! Staying here for work in the Salt Lake area. The atmosphere is semi casual, clean and modern The food at this restaurant was really absolutely incredible quite possibly one of the best burgers I've had in quite some time which says a lot because I travel a lot for work and usually always get a burger at the restaurant of the hotel I'm staying at, I also tried the filet one night not quite great. Ate here four times this week. Tonight was yet another let down. This time carry out. Ordered burger no cheese or bacon. I got both. They ran out of ketchup. Ordered Italian dressing and got ranch. They forgot my fork and knife too. Bartenders were nice. That's about it. Not a big deal but stuff like this happened each of the four times I ate here. Whoa! Beware Yelpers. Came to this restaurant tonight as I am staying at the Embassy Suites. I tried to order. Dry white, how bout Kendall Jackson Chardonnay on the menu? No we don't have that. How about any Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay? Tried to ask for four different wines listed on the menu. We only have a giant magnum of low quality Woodbridge. And you have to show ID to have a drink which is not the servers problem but maybe they should mention when you check in. Okay, past all that, how about Buffalo Wings? Got it. Server comes back and "we don't have wings tonight". Maybe y'all should talk? Okay so how bout the clam chowder? No, we don't have that either. Oh boy... ordered a chicken Caesar. NOT the server's issue. He was trying his best to keep things together and very willing to try anything. He could not get a break, nor could I. would rather go to Denny's. This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time. The servers were unorganized from the start. Our server didn't write our order down and my salad and my husbands meal came out together but the salad was meant as an appetizer . My meal came out quite a while later, it was the fettuccine Alfredo and it was terrible . My husband ordered a hop rising and they brought a golden spike. The server tried to tell us that Utah has a single sip law that doesn't allow you to return alcohol that you are not satisfied with. When I confronted her, to tell her that it was her mistake she became very defensive and told me I had an attitude. Alcohol is expensive and if you don't bring the correct order, the customer shouldn't have to pay. The restaurant was busy and only had two servers . Our server kept giving this as an excuse to her poor service. At the end we had to get the bill fixed because they were having a buy one get one free deal. We also paid $10 for what should have been a side salad that was suppose to be $5. We even tipped more than we would because we didn't want the hassle of waiting for change. Save your time and money and go anywhere else. Somebody find Gordon Ramsay and have him do kitchen nightmares at this restaurant. read more
