Came here on a Saturday morning and it was bumpin! People were sitting outside under umbrellas, others were inside. Inside isn't huge so seating is pretty limited but it's enough. Staff seem to be running to keep things moving and tables bussed/cleaned. The cashier helping us was very friendly. We originally thought it was a coffee place, but it's actually a breakfast place. They do serve coffee and lattes to-go, which is what our intent was. I got the iced horchata latte was super good! Also it was only $5 - cheap considering the cost elsewhere. As I was waiting, I saw the plates of food being brought to tables and it all looked yummy. We'll definitely be coming back for bfast.

This cafe is delicious and all staff has been extremely friendly. I just wish they had a larger location. There is not enough seating for how many people come to eat there. Still trying to figure out the best time to go so my family can sit down and enjoy. Amazing sweet bread by the way! And you should order their crepes! Mouth watering. Portion sizes are great too.

Topokiles verdes

I love the ambiance of this place if we are in the area we will usually stop by for a champurrado after we get our pan dulce from next door. My first time actually eating here and the Topokiles verdes were great! The service was very quick and the servers were very friendly and informative when I asked what Topokiles were. I will be stopping by again very soon!

Great spot! It is obvious that they are busy because of how good the food and service are. Despite the place being packed we were still able to get a seat very quickly due to the efficient service. The huevos rancheros were some of the best I've had in Utah and the side of chorizos I got was somehow both very flavorful and not overly greasy. Finally, don't sleep on the seasonal spicy chai latte. Delicious and comforting. I will be back.

Absolutely loved my experience at this new brunch place! Their omelettes are some of the best I have ever tasted, and their chai latte was even better! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the cuisine is 100% original. The chilaquiles ( not pictured) were the best I have tasted in SLC! What made the experience even better is how personable the staff was. The owner personally came by to thank us for coming in and was extremely kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back to try some more of their delicious dishes!

Carnitas Infladita

The coffee was really tasty, I definitely recommend the cafe de olla! It's sweet and full of flavor! The Infladita is like a Gordita, you get to pick the meat you want and it's usually pretty tasty. The portion is big and it has a nice flavor. My only issue was that the food was cold. I also asked for hot sauce but the only options are Tapatío or Cholula... I guess I was expecting for a homemade salsa since this is a "Mexican" cafe. This place does get busy and they have limited seating so expect a bit of a wait time if you plan on getting a table.

Huevos Rancheros

Amazing service!! We speak very little Spanish, but the waiter was so accommodating to us when there was something we had questions about. I got the huevos rancheros and horchata latte. I wasn't the biggest fan of the latte, it was a little grainy, but the food was incredible. They are located within a small strip mall in WVC and truly bring the vibes with hand-painted designs on the walls and authentic decor.

Unlike most of the Mexican restaurants in this area, the deco and food options in this place is different. Love their rich coffee, especially those with chocolate. The mug is as big as a bowl, a pretty bowl.

Cielito Lindo Café - A Stylish Surprise with Sweet Rewards Cielito Lindo Café in West Valley City may be new to the scene, but it's already making a flavorful impression. We visited with modest expectations and left pleasantly surprised by the food, ambiance, and service. Food & Presentation * Crêpes: Beautifully plated and satisfying. they rank high in taste and visual appeal. * Whipped Cream: Generous to a fault--great for kids, but a bit much for adult palates. A lighter touch would improve balance. * Ice Cream Garnish: A fun addition, though precariously placed. One scoop nearly slid off the plate--saved by a quick-thinking server. A more secure presentation would be ideal. Atmosphere & Service * Vibe: Elegant yet approachable. The space feels vibrant and welcoming without being overly formal. * Staff: Friendly, attentive, and never rushed. Their warmth added to the overall experience. * Seating: Tight during busy hours. A slight reconfiguration could ease congestion and improve comfort. * Seasonal Comfort: A heater near the entrance would be a smart upgrade--cold drafts from the door can disrupt the cozy vibe in winter. Location & Accessibility * Easy to find, though parking is limited--a minor challenge beyond the café's control. Final Thoughts Whether you're stopping in for coffee, dinner, or a sweet treat, Cielito Lindo Café offers a charming experience with room to grow. With a few thoughtful tweaks, it could easily become a local favorite. We'll definitely be back.

This place is right next to a Mexican bakery, and I came to give it a try as it looks really cozy. The food was ok, but I think it was way too expensive for the portions.

This place is super cute and i would definitely come again. We all loved our food and the service was super fast. The only thing i didn't love is the matcha latte.

I really loved the food, delicious and truly made with love. You can see and taste the delicious food. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

I think their coffee is decent and they have a lot of options for flavored drinks. It's awesome that you can try a full flight with different flavors, but I'm not sure if the value is fantastic for the price, especially for 4 half sized drinks. I might just order 4 drinks and just bring an extra friend to help me finish them. The shop is clean with a fun design, it has a lot of natural elements with out feeling forced and an awesome mural on the wall. The staff is friendly and fast for sending out orders and happy to help with any questions that you have. They do utilize a kiosk or QR code for ordering, which takes some of the personality out of the transaction, but it goes smoothly over all and gives you extra time to choose. I would defintely come back. Lots of options and a fun environment. Great spot to meet up with friends, have a coffee and something to snack on.

The moment you walk in, the staff is friendly and makes you feel very welcomed! The esthetics of the restaurant were beautiful and very clean and modern. We ordered the kiosk and had. A lot of choices for empanadas, sandwiches, coffees and teas. We ordered an Americano, breakfast empanada, alfajores, and the flight of coffee and teas. Everything came out fast! My favorite drinks of the flights were the dulce de leche latte (super creamy a with the oat milk) and the matcha latte. Highly recommended and can't wait to try more of their menu!

I usually go to Delice for treats and pastries, but enjoyed dinner there for the first time…read morerecently. It was surprisingly busy on a Friday night, but we were seated quickly and service was fast. Two of us shared the French onion soup and Cobb salad, and both were excellent. The salad was huge and the blue cheese dressing we selected to go with it was great. We selected pastries to go (the chocolate-dipped almond horns are our favorite) and we will be back often!

If you plan to get to-go, you go to the to-go counter and they take your order. This time, we ate for here. Once we were seated with our menus, the staff probably took 10-15 to take our orders, which was a bummer. Though the place was pretty empty (we went really at 11 AM), the staff wasn't efficient enough. For drinks, we got the Cafe au lait and cappuccino. Again, these two didn't hit. The Cafe au lait was really watered down, and it sort of tasted like tea?? Nothing like the cafe au laits I've had in the past. My friend got the cappuccino, and I heard from her that the cappuccino was mediocre. We decided to share pastries: the mille feuille aux fraises, porcupine, and kouign-amann. The mille feuille is considered to be a local favorite! This pastry was good overall, but the Napoleon was really hard and there was a lot of cream. Plus, there were minimal strawberries. We ordered the porcupine because it was so interesting.. I don't think I've seen anything like this anywhere else. However, I felt like the porcupine was the most disappointing. There is a thick layer of chocolate coating, and the inside is a cake, chocolate, I presume? (The flavor lacked richness, so I literally had no idea what I putting in my mouth). In between the two layers of chocolate cake, there was thick cream and rasberry jam. It looked good, though, like a black forest cake! The kouign-amann was the best pastry we tried today. It was perfectly sweet, but I feel like it should be more airy and crunchy. The kouign-amann here is really dense and stiff. However, I don't think this pastry was a loss because of the perfection in sweetness. Im glad I gave Delice a try, but I don't think I'll be back.

It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I ordered the salmon en croûte, while my companion had the grilled salmon. They seemed to enjoy theirs, and I absolutely loved mine. The puff pastry was light and not overly heavy, and the sauce was well balanced--not too rich, but still flavorful and complementary to the salmon. The wild rice on the side was good, though I did not finish it. We also ordered the falafel as a side, which was interesting. It was not quite what I expected (possibly not chickpea-based) but still enjoyable, just not something I would necessarily order again. Overall, a wonderful first experience. I thought it sounded yummy since I enjoy matcha and ube. So I checked it out today for a post-lunch dessert. I really enjoyed it and definitely plan on returning to try some of their other offerings. Today I ordered the matcha ube shaved ice and the cherry blossom latte (I had them make mine using coconut milk). I ate the shaved ice at the cafe and took the cherry blossom latte to go because I wanted to drink it later. They put it in a cute bag! Since it was my first visit there I wanted to try the ube and matcha separately, so for the shaved ice I ordered matcha shaved ice on the bottom, followed by the matcha soft serve and then the ube soft serve on top of that. Next time I order the shaved ice, I think I will most likely have the matcha shaved ice with the matcha/ube twist soft serve on top now that I know how each one tastes on their own. I also would do matcha shaved ice with just the ube soft serve on top. Or maybe ube shaved ice with matcha soft serve on top. The matcha was tasty, and like other reviewers have said, you can tell it's good quality matcha. I really enjoyed the ube, it was very yummy to me. I think for my next visit I'm going to try the ube parfait. The cherry blossom latte was good. I got the sweetened version (it was lightly sweetened not super sweet, which I liked). I didn't want something super sweet. It didn't/doesn't have matcha in it. That was fine with me because I wanted to save it for later and didn't want to have caffeine later in the day. I do think it would taste good with matcha in it though. Overall I enjoyed this cafe. I look forward to trying more items. As of right now the other things I want to try are the ube parfait, the shaved ice again, the warabimochi, the hojicha yuzu latte, and the strawberry matcha latte. If you like matcha and/or ube, I would definitely recommend checking out Matcha Café Kyoto. I know I will be again. Support a local business so that they are able to stay around for us to enjoy.

The bathroom is hidden to the right of the store walking in. Just a warning, the further you go in the store, the more it smells like bathroom... When I first walked in, I wasn't greeted - which is fine, there were a handful of people inside. While ordering, I had asked what was popular and what the cashier suggests, and she said "matcha". I told her it was my first time but she didn't proceed with any recommendations. I decided to go with the ube matcha with oatmilk. She then asked if I'd like cream with it, I had asked if she suggested it and she responds with "well everyone gets it with creamer". Ok so I agreed to try it out. Why not cause everyone gets it with creamer right? I waited about 10 mins, which isn't bad considering the amount of people. She called my name and had 3 other drinks with her. I asked her if the one she was handing me was with oatmilk , and she says "well that's what you ordered right" I tried it and it wasn't oatmilk. I brought it up to her attention and she kinda just said "sorry" and that was all....unfortunately, I can't say it was the best service. If I decide to come back next time, I'll only get straight matcha instead of a latte just to try again. The matcha didn't have a strong taste to it. It was on the watery side. Perhaps I came on the wrong day a they were off with their orders. Who knows...
