My wife and I drove by Cielito Lindo Cafe because we saw all the great reviews and had to check it out for ourselves. The vibes caught our attention right away -- super cool atmosphere and you could just tell it was a spot people enjoy. Beans and eggs were cold and the grilled steak was barely warm but more on the cold side. I told the server who went back to the kitchen to fix it and it was still cold. I didn't enjoy it. I didn't want to ask them to make it again and wait another 15 mins since I was here on a lunch break. The chicken enchiladas were really good though. I was more disappointed when the bill came and she said that tip wasn't included with the check. I tip using cash, but was complaining turned off by her comment as if she deserved tip. Sad they don't have infladitas anymore. I wanted to try them. I went with my mom and aunt and they enjoyed their meals, Chilaquiles rojos y verdes they ordered and where flavorful and good, I got the Mexican toast and wanted over easy eggs, my eggs were well done. I was bummed because my toast would have tasted better. I probably wouldn't order this again, wasn't nothing special or maybe add meat. But adding meat was additional 3-6 dollars I think. Came here on a Saturday morning and it was bumpin! People were sitting outside under umbrellas, others were inside. Inside isn't huge so seating is pretty limited but it's enough. Staff seem to be running to keep things moving and tables bussed/cleaned. The cashier helping us was very friendly. We originally thought it was a coffee place, but it's actually a breakfast place. They do serve coffee and lattes to-go, which is what our intent was. I got the iced horchata latte was super good! Also it was only $5 - cheap considering the cost elsewhere. I love the ambiance of this place if we are in the area we will usually stop by for a champurrado after we get our pan dulce from next door. My first time actually eating here and the Topokiles verdes were great! The service was very quick and the servers were very friendly and informative when I asked what Topokiles were. Great spot! It is obvious that they are busy because of how good the food and service are. Despite the place being packed we were still able to get a seat very quickly due to the efficient service. The huevos rancheros were some of the best I've had in Utah and the side of chorizos I got was somehow both very flavorful and not overly greasy. Absolutely loved my experience at this new brunch place! Their omelettes are some of the best I have ever tasted, and their chai latte was even better! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the cuisine is 100% original. The chilaquiles ( not pictured) were the best I have tasted in SLC! The coffee was really tasty, I definitely recommend the cafe de olla! It's sweet and full of flavor! The Infladita is like a Gordita, you get to pick the meat you want and it's usually pretty tasty. The portion is big and it has a nice flavor. My only issue was that the food was cold. I also asked for hot sauce but the only options are Tapatío or Cholula... I guess I was expecting for a homemade salsa since this is a "Mexican" cafe. Found this gem while visiting from out of town. The food was delicious. We ordered the green chilaquiles and the red chilaquiles with carne asada (beef/ steak). The perfect crunch and just the right amount of spice in both the green and red sauce. Eggs were made precisely how we ordered too. Service was very quick. We had a party of 8, so we waited around 30-40 minutes which is understandable but the problem started when we were seated. Our server was Cinthia & you could tell she was either in a bad mood or overwhelmed but right away she started giving us attitude when we were ordering. We got our drinks all at different times & one of us never got our drink, we waited & waited & she never came back to check on us (we needed napkins & utensils) until our food came out like 20 minutes later. She asked if we needed anything else & I said yes utensils & napkins & she replied saying "More?" While looking around & I said "Yeah, we never got any" she leaves & come back & says "There's no need for the attitude" which I replied "You never even came back to check on us" she doesn't say anything & again didn't bring napkins, we asked like 3 more times until we got about 4 more napkins. Beautiful new restaurant in West Valley - excellent, quick service, very clean, easy to navigate the menu and very delicious food that you don't often see at a Mexican restaurant. The hot chocolate was my favorite but the turkey sandwich was my friends favorite. The topokiles were delicious as well - the fresh fruit bowl was sweet and had a great mix. This is like my 3-4 time coming to have breakfast to this place. We come here because my daughter loves their crepas de Natella con nieve. We have tries several of their menu items I can say my favorite is the turkey sandwich and their hot teramisu latte. Their chilaquiles are very good too. Good customer service. On weekends try to make it before 10am because it does get really busy and its a small place. I gave it two stars because the Cafe de Olla was delicious. But my meal was far from that I ordered Chorizo Infladitas with no sour cream, I got Chicharrones and a pinch of queso fresco and a pinch or two of lettuce. I was expecting what the description said would come in it. I was unable to even eat my food because I didn't have the correct meat and nothing inside besides the little lettuce and queso fresco. And then my two friends had asked for creamer for their drinks and we were forgotten and it took 30 min for them to get it. We weren't offered iced water like the other customers and we were never checked in on the entire time until I stood up to leave then they gave us a check. I would have said something about my meal but it was getting packed and at that point I just wanted to pay and leave. read more

Worst customer service experience ever. I walked in and waited 5 minutes for someone to write my name down and no one even acknowledged me. I walked up to the cashier and she did not acknowledge either so I spoke up and asked to be put on the list. She took 10 minutes to take my name because she was busy looking at their system. 30 minutes pass and she comes up to me saying she was calling me. Accusing me of not answering even though I was inside the restaurant looking at my phone with no missed calls or texts from the restaurant and she kept passing by our party sitting others down. The first time I went it was organized and friendly. This time it was chaotic and unorganized. While waiting a couple got a table and the whole time I was waiting I never saw a waiter check on them or even get a drink order. The dishwasher was setting down cups and water jug for another table on their table. It seems like people there are nonexistent. read more
