    The Restaurant's interior.

This is THE BEST middle-end Chain-Hotel Restaurant that I have ever been to or eaten at. It has four sections, plus room-service. 1). The Breakfast Buffet area. This is only open in the mornings, but it puts out a good spread (as good as any Hilton breakfast buffet). There's juices, cold-cuts, breads, as well as hot chafing-dishes with American & Mexican morning-fare, a waffle maker, and cereals (including Oatmeal & its Toppings), etc. The best thing here is the experienced griddle-cook, who makes fresh pancakes, breakfast meats, and egg dishes to-order, including omelets and poached eggs on toast. Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM. 2). The Bar. This is NOT your usual Hotel Bar. This is a FULL BAR, with all of the special Liquors and Ingredients to make a dozen delicious Signature Cocktails, as well as all of the Standard Ones. Bar opens at 5PM. 3). The Dining Room. This is a small but decent indoor restaurant, serving the entire Element's Menu. It is open from 5PM to 10PM. 4). Saving the best for last, the Poolside Patio. With views of the nearby mountains and the huge heated swimming pool & hot tub, the patio is lined with Cabanas, some for couples, and others for groups. The last time I was here there was even a smoking section (and there may still be, but I can't promise). The Patio offers table service, and makes the Full Drink & Food Menu available to you. It follows the same hours as the restaurant. As far as the Menu-Food goes here, it is very good, especially for an American Hotel. In Europe and Asia some of the Top Restaurants are located in Hotels, but not here, unless it's Las Vegas. My Favorite Dishes at ELEMENTS are: Chorizo Tacos Chicken & Mushroom Pasta Ahi Tuna Salad Wagyu Burger The Fillet with Mashed potatoes and vegetables The Cheese Plate (with a glass of wine) Steak & Fries (this reminded me of France) Southwest Cobb Salad and The Entire Breakfast Buffet

A daily breakfast buffet at The Elements Restaurant was part of my hotel booking at The DoubleTree. The restaurant is located in the hotel lobby and served from 6 to 9:30am on weekdays and 6 to 10:00am. The restaurant also serves dinner, but I only had breakfast. The buffet breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, pancakes, grits, soup, oatmeal, cereals, fruits and juices with a cooked to order omelette and eggs station. People can come in and order the buffet or items ala carte. Food was good but the omelette and cooked to order eggs were better since they were fresh off the griddle. The servers were friendly and refilled my coffee several times. Menu price of the breakfast buffet is $19.99, but you can book it with your room for $7, which is a great deal. Not a gourmet breakfast, but it was a good breakfast located conveniently in the hotel.

Best place to have dinner with live music. With the newly opened Le Meridian hotel, Arcadia is now officially has its own 5 star hotel. Elements Restaurant & Bar is part of the hotel located on the ground level. With the live music playing at the bar, Arcadia's night scenes has just come alive. Food and services are excellent in this new restaurant. We were treated with a true 5 star service tonight. The waiter was very attentive and alert. He was very detailed on all our dining needs and provided prompt service. I am impressed with the impeccable service level here. Like their 5 star service, the food matched the high end restaurant status. We ordered an Ahi salad to start our meal and then got ourselves a steak and a salmon. The Ahi on the salad was fresh and delicious. It could be a meal by itself as the portion was huge. Unlike most restaurants, the salmon was very tender and flavorful. The meat texture was smooth and soft. The chef nailed the doneness on the salmon. The steak was equally fantastic. They had the steak prepared medium, just the way I like it. The grilled steak was so tasty. Finally the dessert, it was out of this world too. We finished the evening with a flourless chocolate cake. The chocolate was rich and delectable, a perfecting ending for our evening. We dined in the open air against the backdrop of the Angeles Crest mountains. Dining with Serenading music was kind of refreshing experience for us. We totally enjoyed our evening at Elements Restaurant & Bar. I heard this restaurant serves very good English style afternoon tea. we will definitely be back for that in one of this afternoon after shopping at the Santa Anita Mall.

Went to Double Tree for a little vacation with my son and we got hungry so we went to the restaurant that they have and let me tell you the food was really good I enjoyed the sandwich very much and everything else

Absolutely amazing meal. Friendly staff, amazing bartender George makes great drinks. Waiter was attentive and food was cooked to perfection. Thank you chef for an amazing meal. A must stop, this isn't just a place in a hotel this is a GEM of a restaurant with tons of fusion options and tasty treats to try.

Bar: Ask for George's Ginger Lemonade! So GOOD! George was the bartender when we visited the bar area. I am indecisive so I told him to make me something sweet but with alcohol. He came up with a pomegranate vodka martini...yummmm Then he told us he came up with a special drink using Tito's tequila...we had to try it. It was so good that we asked for another one. He is really sweet and knowledgeable. He made the experience a fun one specially when my husband and he started discussing Star Wars lol thank you for some amazing drinks George :) Cheers! Restaurant: staff is very attentive and welcoming. We had the Benedict and an omelette for brunch one day. Then the next day, we had the Mediterranean tacos and lobster ravioli. We enjoyed all of the food except for both visits, each dish was barely warm when brought out to us. I still think 4 stars is in order because how welcoming and accommodating the staff is. ( We showed up to brunch 30 mins before brunch time was over and the staff still welcomed us and treated us with no rush at all).

Wine bar? Because you serve wine you're a wine bar? The place was empty at the start of happy hour and the service was friendly but still somewhat of a "lights are on, but nobody's home" situation. I was promised happy hour appetizers would be out soon. 4:30 they arrive and I make my way over to the chaffing dish. They had 1 quesedilla cut up in tiny pieces. That's what you have? I ordered a $10 grilled cheese and fries. It was Wonder Bread, and a slice of Kraft single melted in an Easy Bake Oven. Gross. The only saving grace and worthiness of 2 stars is the outside seating. The patio was relaxing and comfortable with its water feature and poolside seating. They really don't have servers out there so you need to get up and go inside to get anything. What happened to good old fashion poolside service? I guess not at the Doubletree.

We sat at a table by the front window facing the main drag. The area definitely has an old town feel with many restaurants and shops up and down the street. There is also a park right across the street. There is plenty of parking around the corner on the street and in a nearby lot. I started out with the Coughlin's Law cocktail (Aviation gin, house infused vanilla syrup, fresh lemon, egg white, lavender bitters, $16). It was a good light drink with light vanilla and lemon flavor. I always love a good foam top too. She started out with a Basil Paloma (Herradura silver tequila, muddled basil & grapefruit, fresh grapefruit juice, lime, simple syrup, seltzer, $15). It had good grapefruit and basil flavor, and was nicely balanced. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer ($14). The cauliflower was supposed to be grilled, but it seemed almost raw. The buffalo sauce definitely had a good kick. For my entrée, I had the Black Angus Basin Burger (manchego cheese, carmelized onions, arugula, special sauce, brioche bun, $19). The burger was excellent. The cheese, carmelized onions, and arugula was a great flavor combo. The fries were good, but I'd order them more crispy next time. She had the two taco plate with fish and potato tacos ($15). The taco shells were freshly fried, and it was a filling plate that she enjoyed. We had one more round of drinks and I had the Billionaire cocktail (Old Forrester 100 proof bourbon, lemon, house made grenadine, absinthe, $16). This was excellent. It was very balanced, and not boozy at all with a very light sweetness. Her second was the Smoke and Fire (Peloton de la Muerte mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, muddled jalapeno & orange, fresh lime, agave, chili salt, $15). It was pretty well balanced with a medium smokiness. It definitely had a kick of heat on the finish. Our server Lakyn was friendly and provided good service. The menu prices are cash prices. There is an extra 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was mostly a miss, but everything else was very good so I'm rounding up to five stars. They have a very good sized cocktail and food menu, as well as many beers on tap. They also have happy hour specials. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I sent an email to the address on the website and received a reply with the password in a little over thirty minutes. After parking, we didn't have any problems finding the entrance even though it is not marked. Look for the big wood double doors and doorman standing in front. After giving him the password, he opened the doors and we walked in. We were surprised in several ways. The place is way bigger than I would expect for a place named "The Speakeasy". And at 6:30pm on a Sunday, we were the only guests inside. Only one other couple came in during the 30 minutes we were there. I would assume they are a lot busier on Friday and Saturday night. It is dimly lit, and very red inside. The bar is large with many bottles of liquor on display and many seats. The rest of the space is one large area that must have at least 20 tables, and the ceiling is high. It gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a speakeasy vibe. I tried the Naked & Famous cocktail which has two of my favorite spirits (Vida mezcal, aperol, yellow Chartreuse, lime, $18). It was nicely balanced with a good mix of smoke and herbal flavor. She had the Pablo's Poison (Altos reposado tequila, strawberry, lime, jalapeno, elderflower, $17). The jalapeno flavor really stood out with strawberry and elderflower in the background. They have a good cocktail menu with almost twenty cocktails, as well as a food menu with ten items. Walk up to the bar to order your drinks. Jeremy, the manager, and the female bartender whose name who I didn't get were nice. We aren't in Pasadena very often, and while they have a good cocktail menu, I don't know if we would return. Diplomat is a Mediterranean restaurant in the Old Town Monrovia area…read more I came on a Friday lunch early lunch without a reservation and was able to get seated quickly. When I left, the tables got packed. I tried the platter for two, which came with a load of delicious rice, three proteins, roasted tomatoes and peppers. I enjoyed pairing it with their tahini and garlic sauces. The service and hospitality were amazing. Shout out to Ari, she is the best and really made my dining experience seamless. From recommendations, to check-ins, to bringing sauces for my table to try, it felt personable. The interior is perfect for families, dates, and catching up. It's casual but feels elevated. Overall, I had a great dining experience here and I'd recommend others to visit.

The food is delicious and the prices are appropriate given the portion sizes. Service was prompt and professional. Parking might be a challenge, though there are public lots within a block or two. We went on a Friday night and encountered heavy traffic from the local farmer's market/fair. The best item was the Beef kabob, 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked, a very simply salt and pepper seasoning, juicy and simply divine! We got the kids meal, which came with only 4 pieces, and I'd be interested to return for the full adult portion. Also a 5-star experience was the Fried cauliflower appetizer. It had just the right amount of crispiness, without any blackening, and the garlic/parsley/lemon juice combo worked well. The juice was sucked into all the crevices, and overall it was light. I think I could have eaten two portions myself and called it a satisfying meal. I did dip in some tzatziki, which worked great too! Lastly the Chicken shawarma was a 4-star dish. Still delicious and I'd get it again, but it was slightly salty from the marinade and added sauce. I was expecting this to be wrapped up, but it was more an open-face naan with the chicken covering the top. Rice pilaf was savory, I'd rather not know just how many calories are included, the rice was still moist even after reheating the next day.
