The service and food here were amazing! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We started off with cocktails that they made at our table. We ordered 1. Ribs 2. Fish 3. Bone marrow tacos 4. Mashed potatoes Would recommend all of them, they were all really good!

ELENA was our favorite meal from the weekend in Valle de Guadalupe, 5 stars for food and wonderful service!! . This is a special occasion type of restaurant- with lots of birthdays and friends gatherings going on when we visited. We enjoyed the pulpo, grilled veggies and grilled sirloin, paired with a nice bottle of wine from a local winery. To finish the meal, the golden velvet cake is a must in all its layered flavor and sparkling goodness. This restaurant was recommended from our Airbnb host (herself a former local restauranteur).. we are so glad to have stopped here as it was a great dinner from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Ummmmmm wow. We have been to Animalon and Fauna, and this was some of the best food we have ever eaten in the valley or anywhere else in the world. Immediately we were served better brioche than in Lyon. The server is amazing and when we gave our order, they offered us a special instead. The chef caught a 90 lb tuna that morning and they served us the entire collar. It was hands down the best fish dish I've ever had. I don't have the words. Magical? Pure joy? The sauce was rich and tangy with explosions of umami. The chef trained at a famous Japanese restaurant in Mexico City and loves to fuse his two favorite cuisines. For desert, if you're a fan of the best cream cheese frosting and cake of all time, get the golden velvet cake. I'm not even a cake guy, but I had to eat the entire cake. There is just no way to let any of it go to waste. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE. We are coming back every time we visit the valley. Just unreal. 20 stars. 100 stars. Every star ever.

My first impression was "eye opening gorgeous". This restaurant is so beautiful with high ceilings and eclectically mesmerizing in a very positive way. The center chandelier is classy and impressive. The giant painting of horses playing adds a sense of movement and elegance to the dining room. The service is on the edge for a Michelin recognition. The chef, Adrian Gasca, is a young man with restaurant pedigree. He was graceful and informative and also kind and patient. He took time and sincere pleasure in describing each plate that was served. I met three of the owners, all were polite and enthusiastic but the one that really impressed me was Jorge. He was well groomed in all aspects of his demeanor. The abalone dish was fresh and clean with pleasing flavors for any palate. The breaded oyster was an explosion of flavors and easy to eat. The bone marrow with refried beans was a very interesting combination, The dessert was literally on fire. When the flames settled, we were left with a delicious mushroom shaped petite tart-like cake. The wine list is wonderful with a digital list and description of local wines and top of the world selections. Can this be the best restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe? I will leave it up to you to decide. I cant wait for my next visit. Bon appetite!

Best food we've had in Valle Guadalupe since we got here!! The Beef Filet with Mushrooms & Beef Tartare prepared table side were top notch, better than I've had in the US! They also brought us a pair of ceviches from the Oyster Bar outside called Bakkus which were so delicious and unique. The wine by the glass & service was also outstanding. To top it all off we had their chocolate & mouse cake which was big enough to feed all six of us! I highly recommend this place; just saw it driving back to our hotel & went in on a whim. Will definitely come back next time we're in town!

Fourth Course- Local Mussels and Scallop Risotto topped with Local Rockfish- Excellent dish. The Risotto, mussels, and scallop were perfectly cooked. Luckily, we were able to secure a table at Quercus. The waiter was prompt and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The chef was also quick to come and ensure that any questions we had about the menu were answered. The bread was served fresh with salsa - a combination I have not had before. Both the green and red salsa were not too spicy and to my surprise, went well with the toasted bread. For our main courses: 1. Grilled Octopus - 5 star presentation! Well seasoned and not chewy - which is something many other restaurants get wrong. The octopus still had a bite, but was still tender enough. It went well with the pickled onions and the guacamole that was served with the dish. 2. Ribeye - Again, excellent presentation befitting of fine dining. This was a huge portion, but well seasoned and not dry. We opted for the 500g (larger) size upon recommendation of our waiter, but probably could have gone for the smaller size. We could not finish it; perhaps if we had 3 people dining. Our meal was paired with an excellent white wine blend from one of the local wineries upon recommendation of our waiter. There was no printed menu of the dishes so pardon the simple descriptions; this is all I can remember. The first course was vegetables on a puree of white beans and fennel. EXCELLENT. 2) Fried rabbit on a mayonnaise sauce. OK, putting something fried in mayonnaise without any acid is just too rich on rich. 3) Fish in a puttanesca sauce.
