Buffalo style wings and side caesar salad
    Raphael V.

We were staying at the hotel above the restaurant and our rooms were not ready so we stopped in for lunch. Place was jammed as there were world cup games on tv. Three of us ordered wings and two of us had salads. Fourth person shared with third wing person. Given how crowded the restaurant was, the food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately the taste was a different matter. Buffalo wings were barely 'mild' and were not crispy. Side caesar was better. Louisiana style dry rub wings-flavor was skin deep only. Server was very friendly and the ambiance is what you would expect-English style pub with darts lots of wood paneling. The salads were better than the wings.

I don't think I'd ever been to an E&C and was excited to check it out. It was okay overall. The staff were friendly and attentive. The open bar seating was fairly empty and cozy. My falafel wrap was just okay. The falafel itself was strangely ice cold which I discovered after scarfing down the first wrap, but it was busy around the restaurant and I wasn't in the mood to hang out much longer though the bartender did offer to fix it. I also didn't want to risk being given burnt or nuclear grade falafel if I sent it back. I wish they weren't so skimpy on the salad. It looked pretty sad. Not bad place overall, but definitely not my favorite.

Irish Coffee in an English pub. What more could you ask for?

Have now visited Elephant and Castle twice, once in a small group and once with a large group. Both experiences were absolutely top notch. First, there is a great beer / wine selection. There were some bloody marys on the table and I'm told those were amazing. And of course, if the timing is right, they offer an outstanding Irish Coffee. All the food we tried was terrifice. We mostly ordered apps, particularly loved the buffalo sliders, fried pickles, and the wings. The wings are actually shockingly good for an English pub theme, much better than we expected! Service has been terrific each time. Just a nice group of people. The decor is consistent throughout, it really does feel like you're in an English pub in downtown Seattle. HIGHLY recommend, this is my favorite discovery in a long time.

Stopped by before a show at the 5th Ave Theatre in downtown Seattle. We had a resy for 5 of us so we were promptly seated. The place is a nice British pub and serves some good food. We ordered their french onion soup, chicken sliders, chicken wings with sweet potato fries. The food was good. Their guiness was top notch and had the perfect head. Service was good and the ambience is neat. All in all I will look forward to stopping by and watch some live sports here with friends.

Very good priced happy hour with a good selection of appetizers to choose from and $1 off all draft beer and wine. We got most of the appetizers and they were all really good. I was impressed by the size and flavor of each of them. I never had pickles chips in the shape of long thin fries before, but gotta say this shape is a winner. The pickles were not too tangy and salty, which some pickles chips can be and also a major turnoff for me. The sauce they made to go with it had some pickles bits in it too that upped the flavor and meshed really well. The sausage rolls I had here were some of the best I've had, though I admit I've only had a few in my life. The sauce it came with was very tasty too, a little sweet and smoky. I mopped it up lol. There was a football game when we went and the server was considerare to ask if we wanted to watch. We got placed at a comfortable table and got to watch the game most of the evening. Server and host were both nice and attentive. Space is cool and looks and feels like a pretty legit British pub, including where you go downstairs to enter! Very good HH and game watching experience.

My friend and I were in the area and wanted to give this place a try since we were hungry and it was one of the only late-night options nearby. There were multiple levels of seating options as well as indoor and outdoor seats available, though we sat inside since the patios were full. It was quite warm inside! We had a new server at the time who was trying her best to navigate the process with us and answer our questions but we could tell she was either VERY new or received little training before waiting tables on her own. I ordered the wee pie flight but she came back from the kitchen to let me know it was sold out, so I had to choose an alternative, which was the fish and chips. The food was good, not the greatest but decent for a late night pub vibe. The serving of fish was a good size, and if you weren't starving you could probably split this with someone or get an extra piece of fish and split the fries. We also got the highland bread pudding for dessert which wasn't bad either - nice and moist and satisfied the sweet tooth (even if we were ridiculously full after).

Got lunch here and it was great! bartender was super nice. I ordered wings and my coworker got fries if I remember correctly. A lot of people were here I assume on lunch as well. I love the location and it was a short walk from our office. I'm sure I'll be back since I only work at this location on Wed. The space is pretty large and could host large parties if needed.

The ambiance of this place was lively and had TVs with the game on which we enjoyed. Got a very classic burger and fries which was surprisingly delicious and more flavorful than some of the burgers I've had recently. This place also had gluten free options so we switched the bacon and blue cheese burger for a gluten free bread. My partner thought it was a pretty typical burger in a good way hahah, he usually likes the funkiness of the blue cheese to be stronger so it cuts through how rich the bacon and burger was but this one was like the slightest bit dull.

Onion soup but full of gooey delicious cheese :)

We went for a very late dinner after a Mariners game. We were quite hungry, ordered as usual but did not realize British pub food is very hearty! So although the food was very delicious, by the end, we were stuffed beyond capacity. The best item was the flight of pies. Savory, crispy flaky pastry on some them, served piping hot. This was a very satisfying dish but best shared among a group. Very good service with our server (originally from Serbia, not Britain ;) making good suggestions.

We have visited Elephant & Castle a few times now on our visits to Seattle. On this visit we managed to be in town on the last Sunday in June which means Pride Parade! The restaurant was very busy with all of the outdoor tables being used on this gorgeous, sunny day! Our host was so much fun. We had interactions with him many times as he passed our table after seating another party. We had a few chuckles with his quick wit. My SO had the Sunday Roast again which of course was devoured. I went for the leek and potato pie with a side of salad. Plenty of cheese on top of that pie, big chunks of potato and a mellow onion taste. That salad is excellent, lightly dressed with lots of texture. They do 'pub' food right. The restaurant is always clean as are the restrooms. There is a baby changing station in both the ladies and men's room (I am told). Parking in nearby paid parking garages. This is Seattle after all. Staff keeps a good eye on you, even when they are super busy. They offer a fairly good selection of brews, wine and other adult beverages as well as coke products.

We were in town and we were looking for some place close to the hotel since we got there later in the day. We found Elephant and Castle. I am an English pub fan so loved the look as well walked up. We walked down to the host desk to see if we could get a table outside. There were a couple of tables so we were able to sit outside. We were given menus and waited for our waiter. He was quite busy but came over a few minutes later. I ordered the Old Fashioned and hubby ordered a beer. We also ordered the pretzel bites with dip and the fish and chips. Fish was cooked perfect and lived the Cole slaw. So much food. The drinks came out quickly. The food a little longer but it was pretty busy. Our waiter checked in with us often and brought another round of drinks. Visited the restroom which was clean and loved a couple of pictures there. Walking out I noticed a pool table in a lower level.

This place is really cool it's located literally below the Hilton Motif hire in the basement of the hotel. I love the size of the place it has a big bar and a lot of room. The waitress and bartenders I encountered were super super cool and explained alot of what was good as well as beer recommendations, I really enjoyed the IPA selection they had. The burger was amazing. I added a fried egg as well as jalapeño, and the pretzel bites with the beer cheese obviously was great. I will always stay at the Hilton Motif so I will definitely be back to this place!

We really enjoyed the food here and our server Will was a gem. Shoutout to Will! It gave you the proper British pub feel ambiance as much as it can in downtown Seattle. They had several TVs with the game on and it was busy and crowded for a Wednesday night. The only negative we had was that it took a really long time to get our food. We had a 6pm res before a nearby 7:30 show and thought it would be plenty of time. We ordered around 6:10 and our mains arrived just before 7. Our server was working his hardest to get our food out in a timely manner so it seems like it was more a kitchen issue. We would like to come back again sometime when we aren't on a time crunch so we could enjoy our food more next time instead of scarfing.

We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated.
