This is a new spot that opened up on Beckley where swank used to be. They have another location but the vibe here is classier. I finally made it in Star hearing nothing but rave reviews from my friends. I have been to their other location. I came in for lunch around 2:30 pm on Monday afternoon so as you can imagine i had the place to myself until 1 other family came in. As i walked in i was struck by the beautiful decor. It really is stunning. The patio, the ceilings, dining room, all of it. I ended up ordering super basic but it was delicious. I got a mango lassi, mild butter chicken and garlic naan. The butter chicken sauce was silky, smooth, velvety, perfection. The chicken was tender and delicious. I wish there was a bit more chicken in the sauce but it was all delicious. The garlic naan was melt in your mouth delicious. Highly recommend. Mango lassi was pretty standard but also delicious. Had a cute design on top im guessing made with pomegranate molasses. Cant wait to come back here and try more things in the menu.... Or just eat a lot of butter chicken and garlic naan. My server was friendly and helpful as well.

Enchanting and delightful restaurant! Our dishes were so savory and delicious! Loved my tofu vegan dish, it was packed with spicy flavor! The lentil soup was amazing and we loved the atmosphere. Can't wait to be back! amazing service also!

Nice upscale Indian restaurant to go to. I'd take a date here. They have really good food and drinks. Spice levels are higher than normal so if you're not used to it I'd ask for a one or two at the most. Service is great and the place is impeccable! They have their own parking lot. This place is pretty top. Must try for sure!

We have been wanting try Elephant for a while. We finally had time to go sit down for lunch! The restaurant itself is adorable. So colorful and inviting. Our service was great. Water constantly refilled. The food was like a flavor bomb in your mouth. We ordered the Saag with spice level of 3. We could have went higher but boy was it yummy. The Tandoori Chicken (Bone-in), heat level 3 was perfect. And then we tried one of the Indo-Chinese dishes, Mixed Fried Rice. It was light and full of fresh vegetables and pieces of Chicken and Shrimp. We all very much enjoyed Elephant and will be returning soon.

Complimentary desert (it's like rice pudding).

I have been wanting to try Elephant Grill for a while and it did not disappoint. It is family style ordering (imo) so my friends and I shared various plates. The very thing was delicious and tasted authentic. The service was very friendly and the interior is beautifully decorated. There is parking on the right side of the building.

Happy Born day Mom! Such a cute cozy little place and also a bit sexy! I wish I could do half stars (3.5), as I took one star away for just ok service. Our server was nice just not that helpful. The food.. I definitely will be back! My mother's lamb chops she said were VERY salty. She is west indian so she loves the spice, she asked for the hottest they can make it, so maybe it was the spice? She loved the Chicken manchow soup. We had the Seek (sp) kabobs, chicken tikka, butter chicken, garlic naan and roti. I will pass on the roti but their food is delicious! I will be back!

Great food! Great service! Environment was fantastic! You have to give it a try! This is exactly what oak cliff needed. The spices were great and fresh! I will be a lifelong customer as long as they are open

A hidden gem in Oak Cliff. Friendly and attentive staff. Flavorful food with an extensive menu. Festive atmosphere. This is a great place to take a date, or your family. I can't wait to gather with friends on their patio once the sun drops below the tree line. We plan to come back soon and bring our friends.

When I walked in, the ambiance was so nice and calm. It's a very small restaurant and there was a band playing outside. My friends and I decided to sit outside because the inside seemed a little too close for comfort seating wise. When we sat down, the server did take a while to get to us. When he did, the first question he asked us is if we were ready. By ready, he did not mean drinks. He meant ready to order everything. Then as we were ordering, he seemed to be in a rush. The server was not very attentive the entire time we were there. I ordered the butter chicken (boneless) with butter naan and a mango lassi. Both the butter chicken and the butter naan were absolutely delicious. The mango lassi was decent. It had a sour flavor and I prefer it to be on the sweeter side. I would definitely not come back here to sit, but I would definitely order something to go here.

Great lunch special!! I ordered takeout and took it back to work. What a great surprise. My "butter chicken" lunch special was a feast for ALL of the senses. I got roti, cauliflower soup, a pair of onion pakoda, veggie curry, rice, butter chicken, and rice kheer! More than enough for TWO lunches! It was well-packed and everything tastes and smells delicious!

They then decided to kick us out because we had too many people in the restroom. I only got one of the security guards name his name is Anthony another man in his 40s who had an accent decided to put his hands on me and push me. We were all so confused why we were getting kicked out. I will never be going back! That is absolutely insane. We did not take a long time either and they said it was gonna take too long if we all went together, which makes no sense. We took MAYBEEE 5 to 7 minutes in the restroom. The owner needs to get a grip on his security guards. Especially the ones that look like their on drugs sneaking people in from the back and the one man who put his hands on me for absolutely no reason!!! BEWARE LADIES: You cannot go to the bathroom with anyone or you will get kicked it and man handled !!!

A Happy Hour Hidden Gem in Dallas!…read more We took a day trip to Dallas to see the circus and decided to pop into a nearby bar for drinks and small bites. Parking was a challenge, but we opted for valet and, at only $10, it was totally worth it! We originally planned to check out Bar Eden for happy hour but accidentally walked into Paradiso, which is connected. Bar Eden is a little smaller and has more of an intimate, speakeasy vibe, while Paradiso has a gorgeous, lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour specials were perfect for afternoon drinks--cocktails under $10! The margarita was delicious, and the other cocktails were just as pretty as they were tasty. One thing to know: it seems there's only one restroom, so the wait can be lengthy. BUT once you get inside, you'll understand why...because it's basically a girl's dream photo booth! Definitely plan a little extra time for the bathroom selfies. We didn't try the food this time, but the ambiance and music were on point. The outdoor seating is beautiful and elegant, although it was way too hot for daytime lounging during our visit. Overall, I'd absolutely come back--especially for happy hour! Great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

We asked if we could pull up a chair to one of the tables on the patio (which was fully empty), and they begrugedly agreed. We sat down and waited. And waited some more. And then some more... After about 10 minutes my brother went up to the bar and asked if a server would be coming to take our order, and was told that they were busy (they did not look busy at all) but would get to us ASAP. Another 10 minutes went by and, as no one had still come to see us, we elected just to leave. They said nothing as we walked out of the restaurant. Aside from pulling up a chair on the (again, totally empty) patio, I have no idea what we did that could have made them so upset at us. The whole experience was really odd and super off-putting, particularly so as there was no communication at all from the wait staff.

There was a small parking lot with valet available, although I'm not sure if it was complimentary or paid. We opted for free curbside parking at the periphery of the district, about a 5 minute walk away toward the residential area. We walked in, seated ourselves, browsed the menu, and ordered at the bar. We ordered 2 x $7 margaritas and 1 x $7 Ladylove feral fries - included in the happy hour specials! Loved the ambiance - the low lighting, the music. Loved the happy hour special.
