This place is pretty good. Quite a good selection with the menu. Not 5 stars as not everything was stellar but still decent food. Some standouts were the chicken murgh tikka and garlic naan. Dosa was okay I've had better elsewhere. I found the sambar a bit too sweet and the butter chicken was on the sweeter side also. Overall a great place and location and good service too.

Overall Rating: Location Downtown Dallas near Aquarium Walked in and immediately noticed it was empty but the vibe was cozy and bright. The space was clean, and the staff greeted me immediately when I walked in. Food & Drinks I ordered Pani Puri, and butter chicken that came with fresh garlic naan. It was delicious! For my drink I order a mango lassi and it was yummy! Could sub as dessert ‍ Service Rajni was friendly and great at suggesting dish, and my order came out quickly and I really appreciated that! She came over checking on the table often, and was very accommodating. Price & Value Prices were reasonable and menu had variety. I'd say it's perfect for lunch date or, solo treat. Final Thoughts Overall, I'd definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian food. This spot is now on my list. Must-Try: Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan

'A' and I went there on a weekday evening. The small restaurant does a lot of takeout, but there were a few tables and one other seated party. Overall, it was clean and quiet. We ordered some tandoori(?) cauliflower and onion kulcha to share; the cauliflower was awesome! 'A' got the Chicken Tikka Masala which she like very much. I got the Goat Rogan Josh. I'm a fan of goat in general, but I was disappointed in this dish. The meat was very tough and the curry was not enough to make up for it...next time I'll try something else.

The BEST INDIAN FOOD in Dallas. I say again. The BEST Indian food in Dallas. The food is fresh and hot. The chicken lollipops are amazing. The portions of Chicken Tikka Masala was more than usually places provide. The flavor was on point and the best I've had anywhere. It's in a hidden gem of a location but I highly recommend. The garlic naaan was great. Very ver excited to come back to this place again. Very soon.

We were visiting Dallas for a day. We were on a mission for good Indian food. Many restaurants popped up and we decided to walk around to pick one. This one is a very small restaurant on the opposite corner of a big Indian restaurant and Bar. It was hard to find. I think it's next to a previous taco place that's closed. Glad we found it. We were the only ones there. No alcohol. Very cozy and great service. Food was delicious! They're a block away from the Aquarium which we didn't have time for. If you can find it, you'll love it!

My "quick search" for local Indian food spat out Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar as the top choice. Thirty minutes and 14 miles of Highland Village pavement later, I checked Google Maps only to find there was an Indian spot one mile from my location. At that point, I wasn't just hungry; I was "Yelp-betrayed" hungry. Walking into Delhi6 is a bit of a trip. I expected a standard restaurant; I got a lounge that felt like I should have traded my sneakers for a velvet blazer. It was dim, moody, and featured tabletop lamps that made me feel like I was about to negotiate a high-stakes merger--or at least a very serious order of Garlic Naan. I was greeted by Rohi, a man so well-dressed he made the rest of the room look under-rendered. He introduced himself as the acting manager and dropped a line so bold I almost choked on my own anticipation: "This is the best Indian restaurant in all of Texas." Sir, those are "fightin' words" in a state that takes its spices as seriously as its brisket. My expectations didn't just rise; they hit the ceiling. To see if Rohi was a prophet or just a very stylish salesman, I applied my standard Indian Food Litmus Test. No fancy bells and whistles--just the classics. Their menu, by the way, is a literal tome. It's as thick as the Cheesecake Factory menu, but thankfully with fewer pictures of Glazed Salmon and more promises of cumin-induced euphoria. The Tandoori Chicken was smokey, tender, redder than a fire engine. It had that perfect "kissed by the flames" char and a deep, smoky soul. The Chicken Tikka Masala balanced creaminess and spice. It was sweet, savory, and vibrating with bright spices. The chicken was so tender it practically dissolved on impact. The Paratha was dry and a bit tough--the one "C" on an otherwise straight-A report card. Despite the paratha being more "cardboard" than "cloud-like," the rest of the meal was a revelation. I found myself nodding along to Rohi's bold claims with every bite of that Tikka Masala. The flavors weren't just good; they were "I'm glad I drove 14 miles for this" good. It's right up there with the heavy hitters like Taj Mahal and Café Maharani. If I ever find myself in Highland Village again--or if Yelp decides to trick me into a cross-state road trip--I'm stopping back at Delhi6. Thank you, Yelp, for being terrible at math but excellent at finding me a five-star "mistake."

The good thing was we told our waiter and he quickly sent a manager out to make things right. They expedited a replacement and they didn't make an issue of it at all. We also got the salmon, butter chicken, naan, and some appetizers. All the food was tasty and the staff was approachable as well. Recently stopped by with a friend for a late lunch after watching some IGs posted by local foodies…read morewho raved about the food. The spot is more pick-up or DoorDash versus a traditional sit-in restaurant so the interior seating is spare (4-5 four tops). Greeted by the owner Fatima who asked questions regarding spice levels and offered recommendations as we ordered at the counter. The Mango Lassi was bursting with mango flavor and almost as thick as a milkshake, super refreshing. Samosas were fist-sized and very flavorful, served with catsup, a combo that was surprisingly delicious. The Chicken 65 appetizer was the right level of spicy for a comfortable burn and the chicken was perfectly cooked. My friend's healthy portion of Butter Chicken was extremely tasty with an equally large side of white rice, again perfectly cooked. The chicken biryani can be served bone-in or boneless (my choice) and was everything a diner would want from a biryani. The rice was perfectly cooked, the seasonings ratios were balanced, and the chicken was succulent. The portion was so large I was able to make 3 additional meals from the leftovers. The garlic naan is epic - it's the size of a 12" pizza and served on a pizza pan. Thin and crispy on the edges, more doughy in the center with a load of garlic and cheese on top. Do not skip the garlic naan. Really. We visited with owner Fatima during our meal and it is obvious her food is prepared with much love. The only issue with visiting the spot is that there are only 4 parking spaces which could be a challenge during peak dining hours. Loved that our meal was served in to-go containers with paper plates and plastic cutlery so all we had to do was retrieve lids and a bag to take home our leftovers. Highly recommend trying their food, perhaps ordering through DoorDash would be best due to the parking issue.

Also, the chicken had a nice char to it, but it wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. We paired both with an order of Garlic Naan, which was HUGE--definitely enough for two. Last but not least, we also had the Mango Lassi, which pretty solid. Service: No complaints. When we entered, there was no one at the front, and we had to ring a bell to be attended to, which was totally fine. After ordering, the food came out at a decent time. Ambiance: Casual, cozy. Parking: Limited parking--there are only a handful of adjacent spaces on either side of the establishment.
