The window behind the driver's side of my 4Runner was smashed in on Wednesday night and I requested a quote through Yelp that same night around 11pm - Curtis got back to me within minutes of me submitting my quote request and we were able to set up an appointment the next afternoon for him to come over to my house and fix my window. Awesome. Curtis just left my workplace! I've been waiting for my break so I could leave this review. Background: I have huge mistrust of car repairmen because I just got ripped off by another auto glass guy. Partly my fault for sure, but that's where I'm coming from. Communication 10/10. I called yesterday afternoon, Curtis told me he could get it done this morning. He gave me a very reasonable quote to replace the cracked windshield on my Subaru. We had a minor delay due to materials but he was 100% on point with the updates. Transparency 10/10. I asked him to check out a small crack in my Sprinter van while he was here. He immediately told me that there is a really slim chance of the window breaking when he applied pressure for the repair. That's fair, I accept the risk. Work 10/10. He even cleaned off my filthy dashboard when I told him he didn't have to! Education 10/10. This is where he totally sealed the deal. After he completed the work, he explained what he saw - that previously my windshield had been replaced in such a way that would have led to rust of the material beneath. (not surprising from what I know of the previous owner of the car) He said he prepared it best as he could and that it should be fine (my interpretation). But the van!!! Holy moly. Unfortunately for my future wallet but fortunately for my knowledge, it showcased the exact problem he just mentioned. Rust running along the entire length of the top and bottom of the windshield. Bubbling paint. Honesty/integrity 10/10. At this point, Curtis did not try to take my money. He did not recommend I repair the windshield, in fact he recommended I DELAY repair for as long as I can - because when that happens, the van may even need body work. The visible rust was only the tip of the iceberg... He also gave me his observations on some other windows and said he'd ask his custom glass contractor about my problems. Very solid experience, and I feel when I finally replace that other windshield I'll be in good hands. If I had a business I would want to run it like Curtis! read more

Curtis was awesome! Came out with the windshield and noticed I needed new moldings for my windshield of my Lexus IS250. He could have easily installed without the new moldings but would not have been happy to see the results. He gave me the choice and of course I want to make sure I get it done right. In addition to changing the windshield he noticed I had some broken and missing little bolts to my engine cover, so he checked them all and replaced any missing ones as well as any that were about to break for free. Curtis will definitely be my go-to for car glass repairs. I called in for a quote. He picked up in 2 rings and gave me a subtotal half of what Safelite was asking for to replace my windshield. He didn't have one in stock to perform the installation that day, but because the price point was so fair I didn't mind. He offered to perform the installation as early as he could the next day, even going so far as to offer meeting up at my work place so he could do it while I worked. A competing repair shop offered a lower repair price and Curtis matched the price without hesitation. We agreed to meet at my work place parking structure at 9am on a Wednesday morning. Given the time and day, I was fully expecting him to be late. But because his customer service is insanely good, he showed up 15 minutes early to the location. I ended up running 30 minutes late due to traffic, but he was so understanding about it and really pleasant. He told me he would be done in an hour give or take 30 minutes and that he would shoot me a text when all was done. I left the car with him at about 9:20 and he gave me a text at 10:07 telling me he was done! I got back to the location and he even corrected my parking for me and washed my windows. The ringing up process was quick and easy and the statement was simple to read with no shady fine print. It's real quality work with good customer service and a super fair price point. You don't find that combination too often nowadays. I've already passed his business card on to a friend. I could not recommend him highly enough. read more
