Roasted: haven't had the best of luck with coffee in Arizona but here we are trying another coffee shop. We found elevate because it's on our way to the lake. It's in this outdoor mall so wasn't sure what to expect. It was very busy for a Sunday morning. The line didn't move as quick as I would have liked and I could have gotten better service at the register. I asked about sugar free options and she just handed me the menu. No one offered a for here mug but doesn't look like this place specializes in for here at all. I was nervous about the latte but actually this was the best latte I've had in Arizona. The milk was creamy and at perfect temperature. The espresso was pulled perfectly. I enjoyed it very much and the variety of sugar free options was nice. Unroasted: place is nicely decorated and enjoyed the antique grinder in the corner. Located next to a movie theatre it has a nice outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly and had plenty of sugar free options available. The latte looked more like a cup of milk but was actually really nice. Wasn't too hot and it tasted really good. Best white chocolate mocha I've ever had. I'm not sure what it is but the way they roast their beans makes it incredible.

The food was incredibly underwhelming and zero flavor. They just slapped some slices of ham on a "crepe" and put cheese on it. Our croissant sandwich was the size of my palm and was smashed and had little on the inside. And the wait for this was over 30 minutes. The coffee was the only positive thing. read more

Not sure why I did not know about this place, bug oh man I'm glad I do now. This is a gem of a place up in the north (and somewhat west) Phoenix area in the deer valley area. This place reminded me of all the coffee shops / cafe's i enjoyed when I was in Sydney Australia. The food selection is good and healthy and the deserts are crepe! To die for crepe. I ordered a turkey sandwich and a Nutella crepe with strawberries and for my beverage I had earl gray tea. The sandwich was delicious, loved tasting pepper jack cheese with that turkey and bacon. It came with a side option and I opted in to get the cranberry slaw and boy it's good. The crepe was simply AMAZING! And it hit the spot, with the nice warm cup of tea. Finally, the locations was a bit difficult to find but I managed to find it. Plenty of parking and the place was packed. Spacious and lots of seats. There was live music (may be because it's a weekend) I think everyone should try it and take a short break from Starbucks and coffee bean. Worth every moment and every dollar spent there. My husband and I stopped here on a Saturday morning. The dirty chai was okay, but a lot of gritty stuff in the bottom. I could only drink half of it. The breakfast crepe was not good. The crepe was too thick and lacked flavor. My husband had the breakfast croissant sandwich which was good. The coffee cake was okay. They have a large outdoor seating area with a few heaters which was nice. The indoor seating was mostly people on their computers. read more

Elevate Coffee has been on my list of coffee shops to try for some time now. I finally got to go during an early morning weekend adventure. I had a pleasant experience but in my opinion it's not unique. Let me get this straight first, I would definitely choose Elevate any day over Starbucks. There is a nice amount of seating that includes both working and lounging areas. The staff I interacted with was friendly and provided nice input for the couple questions I had. I ordered a black coffee and cinnamon roll. They both were solid, but I would have liked to see just a bit more frosting on the cinnamon roll. I will definitely return to Elevate Coffee as my overall experience was enjoyable! read more

I frequented Elevate when I lived closer, so stopped back in today with my boyfriend to get a latte and gluten free bagel. It's so rare to be able to find a gluten free bagel so I was pumped! My boyfriend got a regular bagel with ham, cheese, and egg-- it was toasted, hot, and (he said) delicious. My bagel was cold and we were laughing because the butter wouldn't even spread. I brought it back and asked if they could heat it up and they said they can't accept food back into the kitchen. Thats it. No offer for a new (hot) bagel. No refund. I'M not the one who let the bagel sit and get cold before I served it. So, essentially I paid for a cold, rock hard bagel that I threw out. Bye Elevate- nice knowing you. read more

As a first-timer, the staff (specifically Emilio) was awesome. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but he helped me choose an iced dirty Yeti. I was worried about how sweet it would be, but he told me he could cut down on the sweetness. The Yeti is a dirty chai with vanilla. It was the best dirty chai I have ever had. Cost about $5.20 for a 16 oz. The interior is large, with a lot of seats and tables both inside and out. It is located right next to the Harkins in the Norterra shopping center. This coffee shop is a nice short walk from my office. As such, it's quickly become my go to spot for my morning coffee. The baristas are super friendly and always welcome me when I walk in! I've had several different drinks here, and none have disappointed thus far. I mostly stick to iced lattes, which always are always delicious and not abundantly sweet. The few times I've had their cold brew, it's been plenty strong as well. My favorite drink is a half sweet white chocolate raspberry mocha - delish! Sometimes when I'm scrambling to get to work and didn't have a chance to have anything for breakfast, their menu items have really hit the spot. They have a wonderfully delicious apple muffin. This is my second time I've ever made a review/complaint and I have to say. Wow. And unfortunately this really happened, I have it on film, and the picture with the card is from the police. I've been coming here *before the pandemic, as a regular, I always get a green tea, a snack, and then go to a table to work. Today was different, very different. As I'm enjoying my music while working at the table for a good two hours a gentleman comes up out of nowhere, getting very close, it was worrying me especially when they are supposed to be practicing social distancing. We all are. Well the situation turned into aggressive slander, the gentleman Troy that claim to be the owner of the establishment started being completely rude and making sure that I understood that I cannot put my backpack here because there are customers that may need to use the chair. Mind you there were more chairs next to me on that exact table.. as I proceed to take my backpack and re-assure the gentleman that If someone comes and asks me for that specific chair I would have gladly put my bag on the ground he then continued with "you need to leave, you need to pack up your sh*t and go" the frustration started to sink in and I asked him "so you would like me to leave because I'm using another chair?" So he reassured me that if I'm resisting to leave he will call the cops. Before I can't even say "alright I'm gone" a security guard comes in, interrupts us and proceeds to call the police. Long story straight. I had no idea what was in store for me that day, because Troy was having a bad day, I am now not allowed to step foot on the WHOLE mall because I used another chair and if I do I will be arrested and thrown in jail. Sounds crazy right? Well unfortunately I'm not making this up and I got it on film. I got embarrassed, yelled at, and called the cops on because I decided to go to this coffee shop this day. Mind you I'm a short white male, imagine a person of color coming in on one of Troys bad days.. With everything going on already and then "Troy" completely freaking out, I will never come here again, the energy is completely ruined. This picture with me was taken 2hrs before the incident. *I thought, this was a great location to set up since it was the corner of the table with nothing behind me. But I never should have visited this place. I got completely disrespected today and cops came because I decided to spend my money and time at this specific location. read more

Went here for a brunch with my bff and our 4 year olds. The menu had a mince selection. I got a crepe with chicken mozzarella and pesto and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten! The prices were very reasonable. read more

My daughter went in to get breakfast/coffee and it was like a scene from a 1940's diner. All the white people were starting at her very unwelcoming, like she didn't belong in there. The staff was very friendly, but the atmosphere and customers were very racist. The coffee did not taste good either, especially for how expensive it is. The food had large portions, which was nice. However if you are African American, I would recommend you stay far away from this place. I wish I would have went so I could ask them "what the hell were they staring at?", but my daughter is 19 yo and definitely felt like she had done something wrong by going in there. I know AZ can be racist as hell, but experiencing stuff like this for coffee? Yeah, never again will they get any business from us or anyone we know. read more
