CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Show customer's a price list of services, was over charged for a very bad haircut. Did not listen to how I wanted my haircut. I think the woman who cut my hair had no formal training. Bottom line I paid a lot of money ($61.00) for a very bad haircut. Worst experience I've ever had. Make sure you get the price of the haircut and additional services before you decide to have them cut your hair. In addition the woman working the cash register has zip personality, bad vibes. Overall bad vibes. They used to be a much better haircutting salon 10 years ago. I would Have a hard time changing people for bad work. Ask them where they learn to cut hair,which I doubt they never learned how to cut hair, terrible. I would feel really bad gauging people for bad work.. definitely not a good experience read more

Elevate Hair and Skin, formerly Sunrise Hair Salon, is a great find. I recently moved to the Carlyon Beach area and was pleased to find a salon close by. The salon has been going through a gradual transformation and looks very fresh and sophisticated. I was not looking forward to trying a new stylist, but I was relieved to find Hannah. She is very pleasant, funny and put me right at ease. She did a great job with my highlight and haircut. All of the staff are very pleasant. I love listening to their friendly banter as they work. I have tried some of their products. They were a bit pricey, but I have been pleased with the results. I highly recommend this salon. read more

Fun Fact: I fly from the Bay Area to SeaTac to get a root touch up and cut by Sadie! Blondes know maintenance isn't easy, but Sadie is the best stylist I've ever had, and she easily makes the 670-mile trek worth it. Sadie knows color inside and out, and her cuts are always perfect. (In fact, she's fixed problems made by at least one other stylist.) Plus, the salon is gorgeous (often decorated for holidays or seasons) and the staff are fun and friendly. I absolutely love this salon McKenna is the best stylist i have ever had. She does everything tanning, waxing, dyeing, cuts, shaves. All while making great conversation and she makes me feel like a priority. I always feel like i am #1 as if i am her only client. She is very warm and welcoming and treats you as a friend. Wham Bam Thank you Ma'am. I decided to try this place because I just moved to the area. The person who cut my hair spent more time washing it than cutting it, The hair cut took less than ten minutes. I said my hair was curly, and not to cut it too short. Well, that's exactly what happened. I wasn't handed a mirror to see how the back looked. It wasn't styled the way I explained when asked what I wanted. When I got there, there was a man at the next station getting a hair cut. He was still getting styled when I left. I was a little incredulous when it came time to pay. It was the same price as the high end place I used to go to before I moved. I wasn't offered the $20 off for new clients, either. I left, what for me, was a paltry tip. Won't be going back. read more

Sadie has personally bent over backwards to make sure my hair doesn't go too long without being tended to...go in early, stay late...she's my hair savior! I went here for the first time February 2012. I love this place and I plan on recommending Sunrise Hair to all my friends and family. Brooke did a wonderful job on my hair but all of the staff are great at what they do and have many years of experience. It is very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and location is very easy to find as it's right off highway 101. Plus they have all the services you could possibly want or need. I've never in my life have had a hair cut. I know that sounds odd but it's true. I grew up in a very religious house where I wasn't aloud to. I decided that I wanted to try somthing new so I looked up hair salons near me. I found this place because it was the closest to my house and it didn't have any bad reviews here or on any other page I visited. I took it as a good sign and called to make an appointment. The lady who took my call was very pleasant and understanding of my situation. She asked who I wanted to see I had never been there before so I said who ever she set me up with a girl named kassi. I went for my hair cut today very nervous but excited. I told kassi what I wanted and showed her a picture. She was really sweet and easy to talk to. She made me feel less nervous about the whole thing. I've heard alot of people say it's hard to find someone who will cut your hair well and do exactly what you want. Kassi did exactly what I wanted and it turned out soooooo nice. I was very happy. I got lots of layers and long bangs. She said that if I didn't feel like there was enough layers I could come back and she'd fix me up free of charge. When I went to pay I was expecting to pay the full 51.00 for my cut and style but because I was a new client they gave me 20 dollars off plus a bunch of coupons for future visits and to give to my friends. First impressions: the cleanest salon I've been in to date...it's amazing. Loved that. My stylist Brooke, took me on a tour of the salon (first time for that!) and I thought that was a really nice touch, as they do offer other services. Really well thought out as far as customer service here! Brooke gave me a fabulous cut and style, and she was extremely knowledgeable, and shared her knowledge, which was wonderful. Easy to make an appt. which is always nice. The offer coupons when you leave for money off your next visit and discounts on products, which is always really nice. Loved my experience! The salon is very neat & clean. Tegan was my stylist and she did a wonderful job. My hair is very thick & needed some color correction.
