My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. I was initially charged full price instead of the Happy Hour price. The bartender corrected the bill and gave me a new receipt for $43.40. However, when I checked my debit account afterward, I found a $53.32 charge and three separate $10.00 charges. The $43.40 charge does not appear anywhere on my account. I contacted the hotel several times and was repeatedly told someone would follow up with me, but no one did. Management eventually told me that the $53.32 and three $10 charges were authorization holds and that only the $43.40 had been settled. However, those charges remained on my account, and the $43.40 charge never appeared. I provided the hotel with my receipts and account statements showing the transactions, but the issue was never resolved, and I never heard back from the hotel after their last response. My biggest disappointment is not just the charges, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and concern shown toward a guest trying to resolve a billing problem. I am sharing this review so that other guests can make sure to carefully review their receipts and account activity and so that management can improve the way guest concerns are handled in the future.
