Came here because we were looking for a French brunch spot, and at first it felt like a great find…read more We were greeted upon arrival, and the menu offered so many options that placing the order took a bit of time (we had five items for two people). While ordering at the counter, I needed to make a quick adjustment after getting confused about one of the items. During that moment, a 'white' gentleman was waiting behind me, and instead of simply acknowledging him with "I'll be with you shortly," the lady staff apologized to him for my delay in ordering (according to her). Shortly after, while I was still in the middle of ordering and asking about tea options, she abruptly moved on to take his order without any explanation or communication. The interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable as well I felt strong I am treated with racism, especially in the condition when I was pregnant who crave all good food.... As for the food, most of it was enjoyable. The scrambled eggs on the croissant and the pancakes were well done. However, the onion soup was overly salty, likely due to the cheese which was in the soup and also on the bread. Another downside, especially as first-time visitors, was the lack of guidance. We weren't informed that water was self-serve, and only realized it after noticing another guest getting it themselves. Interestingly, when leaving, we saw staff pouring water for newly seated guests, which added to the inconsistency. Overall, the food showed effort from the kitchen, but the service experience was disappointing. The 2-star rating is mainly in appreciation of the quality of the dishes. Cafe is quite small and we felt hot, as there's only a portable AC that couldn't accommodate that size of room. Not recommended place, even this is one of the rarest cafe in town. Rather to spend money to somewhere worthy and respect you as guest, no matter what roots you have.

Muddy bees offers a wide selection of breads, cookies, pies, and desserts. One of their own creations is the Kolob which is an oatmeal cookie crust, cream cheese, and fruit layer. In addition, muddy bees offers gluten free options from bread to cookies. While they are not a gluten free kitchen/establishment, they do offer options to accommodate those with intolerances. The inside has several tables and chairs for guests who wish to enjoy their pastries, breads, and coffee inside. In addition, they have local artisan made options for purchase. Every time I have been in, I have been offered help and the employees are always kind.

Their prices are very reasonable for custom orders. When I told them that I needed to travel with it from Hurricane, UT to Duck Creek, UT, they emailed me to let me know they could freeze it for me! That way I would just need to put it in a cooler and I would be good to go! They were right! I will update with pictures when I get them from my friend. The only one I have doesn't do it justice because I didn't want to unwrap it. I also bought a cinnamon roll for the road and was very tasty!!

"Breezy" was so kind explaining all the ice cream flavors to us, since it was our first time there. She scooped us the biggest scoops ever! I had no idea the scoops were so big and asked for 2 scoops , $7 . Good thing I downed 6 dairy relief pills before eating the ice cream. (Which I strongly suggested to the cashier they should sell for us lactose intolerant ice cream lovers! I bet they would sell more ice cream!) They are known for their cheese curds. We bought a bag. It was waxy. They offered a "root beer" milk "Tristan" told us all about. Very friendly workers there. The milk was $3. Very tasty. When you see "Breezy" encourage her to face her fear of flying so she can venture out of Beaver, see the world and return home to her beloved Beaver.
