I love the attention Mimi took to go around to gather items for my granddaughter to try on. Fale was also a big help with bringing out several choices of shoes and helped me select a pair for the best comfort. My next stop was the skin care items and a few gift sets from beauty, with some cool l gift with purchases as well. Being a valued customer, I was also gifted a nice travel bag, with a coupon for a drink, a lunch, and a $15 coupon for a future purchase in Beauty. The cashier desk in the men's section is completely incompetent. One cashier took 12 minutes to ring up four shirts. The other cashier, who was new and kept mis-entering items to the purchase while having a high maintenance customer who was asking for help while ringing ....stupid questions like should I do a pocket square with this? There were two other Nordstrom staff looking up stuff on their phones but no one to help a customer. I get to the register, ask for the big & tall section for suits, and Nordstrom doesn't have one. So I waited, waited, and waited just to find they didn't even have what was needed. Nordstrom should staff up for big sales and get efficient cashiers in the men's section. I got a lovely Michael Kors suit at Macy's in a 44 Long and they have a much bigger suit section. Also, their Black Friday in July sale was worth it so Nordstrom's loss is Macy's gain. Take note!

Only to find out they cancelled the appointment without telling me. Very unprofessional and poor communication! No accountability for canceling appointment! Lied about calling and leaving a voicemail! The custom inserts/orthotics will not arrive until April 17. Yet they kept me on the schedule and kept sending me text messages confirming no changes to the appointment the night prior. The lady behind the window was rude, unapologetic and didn't take accountability for wasted time and efforts. She insisted they called and left a message 2 days before the appointment. I verified they had the correct cell number, but my cell has zero missed call from Hanger Clinic and no voicemail. The lady in charge of appointment scheduling and Dan (supervisor) didn't apologize and pointed and blamed others....They both displayed a lack of respect, empathy and subpar management skills.

Extremely disappointing experience -- I will never shop at DSW again…read more I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this DSW location. I purchased my son a pair of shoes for back-to-school just three weeks ago, and within less than two weeks of normal wear, the shoes were completely shredded and falling apart. These were clearly defective shoes, not simply shoes that had been worn out over a long period of time. My husband and I went into the store right when they opened to see if we could exchange them for a different pair or receive a refund. We had the original box and proof of purchase with us. When we got to the counter, the older brunette employee looked at the shoes, gave me a dirty look, tossed them back into the box, and said, "We don't take worn shoes back." I understand that stores have policies regarding worn merchandise. However, my issue was that these shoes were purchased only three weeks ago and had fallen apart in less than two weeks because they were defective. I explained that to her and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was standing right there and was already being extremely rude on the phone with another customer. The cashier even said, "My manager is right here, and she is a very big stickler for the policy." At that point, I said I would wait to speak with her because I understood that determining whether a shoe is defective was up to management's discretion. Unfortunately, the manager didn't even properly examine the shoes. She immediately told me, "You don't have a receipt, and it's been worn. I'm not doing anything." I explained that I had proof of purchase and that the shoes were defective. She cut me off and repeated, "No, it's been worn. I won't do anything," while rolling her eyes. The entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. I wasn't asking for something unreasonable--I was asking for help with a pair of shoes that had literally fallen apart after less than two weeks. What is especially frustrating is that we came in first thing in the morning, had the original box, had proof of purchase, and were simply trying to resolve an obvious quality issue. Instead of even looking at the shoes or trying to help, we were treated like we were trying to return something we had intentionally ruined. I will not be shopping at DSW again, and I would caution others to think twice before purchasing shoes here, especially for children who wear their shoes every day. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don't expect much help from this location.

My upper denture cracked and I was desperate to get it fixed right away. I called two other companies who seemed disinterested in my problem and would not be able to see me right away. One piece had broken off and couldn't be used. I did a google search and found Oral Arts Dental Lab. I called and a very friendly pleasant voiced answered. When I told her what happened , I asked if they could see me right away to repair my denture while I waited. She said she would talk with Bill (the owner) who told her to have me come right in, which I did. This is a very professional group of technicians and all are very friendly and made me feel comfortable while I waited. Their price was more then reasonable and I recommend them highly. They are good people.
