Vegetable forward tasting menu with some meat/seafood options. I will start off by saying that this restaurant has an amazing ambiance and one of the best services I have ever received - making it very well deserving of its 3 michelin. The food was also tasty, although I wouldn't necessarily say it was the tastiest food I have had at a nice restaurant. Highlights of the meal included the bread service, the radish tart, and the asparagus. It is a bit pricey considering most of the meal is vegetables, but nevertheless, an enjoyable experience and the most amazing service. Expect to stay for around 3 hours for the full tasting.

Convincing the meat eating hubby to spend this amount on veggies? Forget about it! When I had some solo time in NYC while I happened to be pescatarian, I figured it was now or never. When a rezzie opened up a few days prior, I figured it was meant to be. I showed up a little early, about 15 mins. They were able to seat me shortly after I arrived. I gotta say, the way they play with flavors? So good! I adored the mushroom dish. The way they made it smokey and meaty. Yum! I was a lil bummed I couldn't try the duck, but at least I got to try the seafood. I gotta say, even with fish and lighter food, I still prefer having a full bodied red. I originally was gonna do a glass of bubbles and then a have a glass of red, but decided last min to try the pairing. Obviously, very white forward, but nothing was too buttery or sweet which is what I don't like. Considering a glass of wine could have been like $50, it wasn't a bad deal to do the pairing. My server was wonderful. Friendly and attentive without being overly so. They also invited me to tour the kitchen which was fun. I was able to see the action - well sorta. I think they were cleaning up since I was probably part of the last seating. Still fun to see the layout and the stations. A wonderful experience. Especially since I was a solo diner. REVIEW #4003

I found the food here to be well presented and reasonably well-executed, and the service was outstanding. However some of the dishes weren't particularly memorable, and it's also really difficult to justify the $500 price tag after tax and tip. Celery (drink) - really interesting. Very herbal and a bit savory. Laminated bread - phenomenal. Layers and layers of buttery bread, served with an onion compound butter and a light but savory radish broth. Radish - some sliced of radish served with a tart, slightly thickened broth. It also came with a wrap of sticky rice with a slightly spicy filling inside a leaf wrap. This was herbal, a bit spicy, and packed with flavor. Made for nice contrast against the rich and savory bread course. Tardivo - a beautifully presented vibrant red dish. The greens were a tad bitter, paired with a sweet and sour raspberry vinaigrette. Not my favorite course, I didn't love the bitter notes. Tonburi - savory and creamy flavors with interesting texture. The tonburi acts like caviar, which you can spread on a little roll of fried pita with a aioli dip. Silken tofu - also leans into the savory profile, but a bit lighter. The onion flavor is prominent, and I enjoyed the variation between the veggies, silken tofu, and the light broth. Also somewhat similar to the first course in flavor profile. Potato - a steamed potato with gnocchi inside, all in savory broth and with some shaved truffles over top. I'm not the biggest fan of truffles, but the dish was definitely unique. I would've preferred the potato to have been cooked a bit softer. Maitake mushroom - kind of like the steak substitute. It was a set of skewers with mushrooms, seitan, and onions, with some basic blanched spinach on the side. The skewers were chewy and savory. Citrus - easily the best part of the meal. The ice is shaved tableside and packed into an orange filled with cream. It's served alongside some delicious brioche. Sesame - a nice last bite, a nutty pretzel with some vermouth to sip on.

What a joy to update my review to 5 stars. Team again as always-top notch. The food this time was 10/10. Bravo!! The flaky croissant bread with hints of mushroom. The lettuce hearts with almond ricotta. This menu was so good, I feel like I need to go again before the season is out. Krug by the glass-loved that. A variety of tea offerings-I was happy with my selection of elderflower. Love the curated art throughout. The balloon is my favorite.

The most disappointing meal ever. Finally tried EMP after 7 years in the city and it should have just stayed in my thoughts. Most of the menu remains vegan and leans heavy on brined/fermented flavors. Every dish was extremely salty with no actual flavor behind it Even the service felt off with long delays between courses and the broken coffee machines. Totally unacceptable from a restaurant at this caliber. Two dishes did stand out tho. Land caviar felt very special, made of dehydrated seeds with a unique texture ‍ And ofc the duck's return was a big plus. The gorgeous peppercorn crust was easily the best bite of the meal. But you can get this at the bar a la carte so skip on the tasting.

3 Michelin starred fine dining restaurant located in NYC right across Madison park. We've been wanting to go here for a while and finally found a slot available today, 5/9/26 at 12:45m. From the beginning we were greeted warmly; they took our coats and umbrellas. Our "main server/host" Lorenna was great and explained things thoroughly. Overall, ambience was very chill and the decor was very simple; service was on point (not surprised) and staff was friendly. Food was great to my surprise as I went there with hesitation but came out satisfied. We had mix of veggies and meat/seafood but everything turned out great. Def worth more than Per Se.

A lovely THREE HOUR meal, but I wouldn't exactly highly recommend it since it's pretty pricey (~$1k for 2) and the experience wasn't worth it (at least for us). My g&t didn't come with a garnish, I felt that was a bit odd for a Michelin restaurant, if not passive aggressive. While most dishes were creative, well executed, and unique the meal dragged for hours--I felt ready to go after the first couple hours. We celebrated our anniversary which was nice but we didn't feel like the staff were celebrating *with* us which we've had the pleasure of experiencing at other anniversary dinners (i.e, at Daniel and Gramercy Tavern). We got the same granola everyone else received and by the end of the meal I was exhausted. P.S., frozen coconut is not a winter dessert.

Very solid experience! While I wasn't particularly blown away by any of the dishes, it was all very delicious! We did the 5 course bar tasting and it was a lovely experience. Our waiter was very attentive, constantly checking on us and making sure we were comfortable. Having gone to a few Michelin star restaurants at this point, I think what stood out for me was it felt like a special experience. To some degree that's what we're looking for when dining at a place like EMP. I could see myself coming back in the future if an occasion calls for it.

Excellent service. Beautiful building and vibes. Fun private kitchen tour. Amazing wine pairings and cocktails. Food was very mediocre though. The best ones were the ones that tried to deviate a little from the beaten path, I.e. tamarind soup. Chicken truffle was okay, if not chewy. Scallops were decent but not spectacular. Everything else was forgettable, sadly.

An excellent fine dining restaurant that stands out among a city with many excellent restaurants. My review/experience is from a long time ago. So they have gone through a renovation and a couple of menu/philosophy changes since, but wanted to put my review here mostly for posterity and as attestation of what a memorable dining experience it was. *Looks at notes* at the time of my visit, the restaurant had three Michelin stars. The service, which I have no doubt is at the highest standards today, was impeccable. The vibe - at least the time I went - was elegant, but not overly stuffy. I was in NYC visiting and really wanted to go to this restaurant. At the time, it was too late to get in or book a tasting menu, so an option at the time was being able to dine at the bar area on a more limited menu. Despite being such a long time ago, I remember ordering a roasted chicken with a nice white wine to go with it. At the time, it was probably the best chicken I've had at a restaurant to date. If I find myself back in NYC anytime soon, this is a restaurant I would make a priority to revisit.

Came for dinner to celebrate my birthday and had a great experience. The service was great, we felt really taken care of and definitely the Michelin star experience. We arrived at 5:30p for our 5:45p reservation awaited a few minutes before we were seated. We were first started off with bread and butter, which were both garlic flavored, I really enjoy the onion consume that was in the first course. I was super excited for the duck dish, which was cooked perfectly and better than I could've imagined. Overall, I really enjoyed the flavors, it felt that they were inspired by Asian influences. The vibe was classy and elegant which was perfect for celebrating special occasions and gave a reason to dress up. Definitely had a a great experience!

Fantastic restaurant, although world renowned for its service, I find it to be slight cold and corporate like. Food was good, some amazing and some meh. It's a toss up between them and Per Se and I am probably still more geared towards Per Se imo. Still a great place to visit and try if you haven't already.

Went to 11MP for my birthday dinner this year. What a beautiful restaurant it is. Grand, lavish -- definitely makes you feel like you're in for a special experience. The tasting menu was good and the choices that I picked were also good, but to be honest, there was not a single dish that wowed me or stood out. The onion bread was phenomenal, but then everything after that just felt like it was a baseline good. I expect to be wowed by the food with a place like this. The service was incredible and the kitchen operated like a factory. Super good service and experience in that sense. Overall I was slightly disappointed with how high of expectations I had for the food here.

Does Eleven Madison have a happy hour? If so, what is offered? (Food, drinks etc)

I don't believe they do. However at the bar area you don't need reservations and can order a la carte. You also have a 5 course tasting menu for around $150.

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The atmosphere is elegant and upscale without feeling pretentious, but it's the service that truly sets this place apart. Xhulia was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and somehow anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. I've dined all over Manhattan, and this was honestly a better overall dining experience than most of Manhattan put together. Great food and drinks are one thing, but hospitality like this is rare. If you get Xhulia as your server, you're in for something special !!

Tusk Bar inside The Evelyn Hotel feels like stepping into a well-kept secret from another century…read more The space leans fully into that Prohibition-era Art Deco elegance, low lighting, polished brass, velvet everything. It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for a refined, slightly cinematic night out in Flatiron.

We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
