    Gyro Platter Platter
    Sally A.

Went there twice got the same dish. For some reason the meat was not as juicy and tender as the last time but it was still delicious! So imagine if you come in a perfect day when they make it real good. The staffs are super friendly, I loveeee their potato fries and I need to try their other menu. The gyro platter was enough for 2 maybe if you eat alot, get an appetizer. Their octopus and calamari looked amazing. We also had their hummus before and it was great! Love the vibe of the restaurant alot of families and couple , friend gatherings. Not much of kids/ environment

The olive oil is more like water and not oil

I ordered the pork souvlaki platter with fries, pita, Greek salad, and tzatziki, along with a beet salad and a glass of Greek wine. The wine was authentic and enjoyable, but unfortunately, most of the food fell short of traditional Greek standards. The beet salad lacked olive oil, and the Skordalia was not authentic -- it was crumbly, dry, and missing any hint of garlic. The tzatziki tasted like plain yogurt without the proper cucumber or garlic blend. The feta on the salad didn't resemble the rich, briny Greek feta I'm used to (especially compared to NYC Greek restaurants). Even the olive oil tasted watered down, and the platter came with just one small wedge of lemon -- not how souvlaki should be served. The fries were fine, but the overall flavor and presentation were disappointing. To top it off, my server asked if I wanted my main dish packed to go while I was still enjoying my wine. The wine was the highlight of the meal, but the food and service need improvement to meet real Greek standards. The wine was exactly what I expected considering I knew what I was ordering, but the price was outrageous. Literally charged $11 for a glass of wine but the entire bottle cost the restaurant below $10.

You would drive right by this place as it's in a small strip mall. I found them on Uber Eats and decided to give them a try. I did the pickup option as I don't live too far away. The restaurant is small but it was filled which is always a good sign. There is a small parking lot but there weren't any available spots but luckily there was a free meter parking spot on the street in front of the lot. They were wrapping up my order when I arrived so it was still nice and warm when I got home.. I order the shrimp souvlaki platter with rice. It also came with a small greek salad, a warm flat pita-type bread and tzatziki sauce. Everything was really good. The shrimp was a nice size, the rice was plentiful and the bread was good as well. I forgot to order baklava for dessert - so that will be my excuse to go back!

Everything was fresh and flavorful! Loved the lemon potato's and the pita with marinated olives.

Absolute favorite Greek restaurant in all of Westchester. Been coming here for years. Food is perfectly seasoned and come in very generous portions that you're bound to bring home leftovers. The Elias Mixed Grill Platter is great if you want to try a little bit of everything. Their lamb chops are a family favorite too. But the Classic Gyro Platter...you can never go wrong with it. It hits the spot every time. As for the ambiance, it's a small shop off the Hutchinson Parkway near New Roc/Bronxville. Limited parking and limited seating, but definitely worth the wait if there is one. The service and experience is great all around.

    Pitas when you sit down

Stopped in Saturday afternoon for lunch. Heads up parking was not great. Lot is small and it's a busy area so street parking was tough. We sat down and pretty much right away received the pitas and olives shown in my picture, they were ok. Placed an order for tzatziki sauce to go along with the pitas - it was good just not as flavorful as other local places. I did enjoy how thick it was though. The chicken gyro was good. Lots of flavorful chicken, the pita was totally stuffed to the brim. The fries we got to accompany the gyro were the typical julienned fries. Liked the seasoning blend they used on it. Definitely worth the price and the visit for sure but not the absolute best gyro in Lower Westchester.

I see lots of comments saying that this restaurant is BYOB but we had been there many times in the past and they always had wine. We haven't been in over a year, though, so is this a new thing?

THEY WERE BYOB, NOW THEY HAVE BEER & WINE!

One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Tino's Artichoke is a tasty start - an artichoke dip with feta and sun-dried tomatoes served with pita chips. We'll usually get the mixed grill (but subbing lamb in for the beef, way more flavor). Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.

I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

Sad to say, after being loyal customers, this place turned us off tonight permanently. I placed a large anniversary dinner order by phone, including tahdig ($12). During the call, I specifically asked if the rice came with tomato and onion and was told no it comes with the tahdig that I ordered. So yes it comes with the order. I was also asked whether I wanted the gheymeh on top or on the side of the tahdig. I chose on the side. When I got home, the order didn't match what was discussed: The tahdig wasn't traditional rice tahdig like me or my wife have had countless times. It was more like this brownish, sheet-like, crumble with a few flecks of rice on the crumble, but not crispy. Not Persian tahdig. The gheymeh was missing entirely, despite being discussed on the call. The tomato and onion that I was told were included were not there. The fesenjan had only a few pieces of chicken. The ghormeh sabzi was okay, but pretty underwhelming in flavor. I called politely to clarify about the missing tahdig (for next time) and was told someone would call me back. No one did. When I called again an hour later, the same person who took my original order responded in a dismissive and accusatory tone, unilaterally escalating her tone and voice immediately, almost angrily accusing me of daring to call, and told me that the tahdig does not come with gheymeh, and tomato and onion aren't included either. (This is the opposite of what I was told when ordering). She repeatedly interrupted me, talking over me, instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue. We've been coming here since moving from Southern California a few years ago, whenever we felt homesick and wanted some Persian food. The food has always been....OK....nothing like Persian restaurants in Toronto or Southern California, but we continued ordering out of nostalgia and lack of other options. However, this experience today, incorrect information, missing items, no follow-up, and then, the way the situation was handled was our final turn off. Disappointing, especially for what was meant to be a special occasion. We won't be returning, nor will our visiting Persian family or friends.
