We had a nice dinner here. We started off with the Just Peachy cocktails, which were fabulous. For starters, I ordered the chopped salad, which was excellent with Gorgonzola and dressing on the side. We ordered a bunch of entrées ranging from 3 ravioli, specials, with vodka sauce minus the peas, chicken, Parm, and spaghetti, fillet of sole and chicken franchise. The food was good, the problem was the service. We had asked for no peas on the three ravioli specials two came out with no peas and the third had peas. Unfortunately, our waiter was nowhere to be found. I think he was the bartender. Several times we had to flag down a bus boy and ask where the waiter was. The restaurant was not busy. Nobody came around and asked if we wanted another drink, we felt very neglected. The bus boy tried to make up for it, though. I have to give him that. There was too much chatter going on at the bar and not enough attention to the patrons. There were only a few tables seated, so they're really was no reason for this. I really enjoyed the food, and I wish I could rate this restaurant higher, but they need to fix the service. read more

Came here for a family birthday dinner. Had a very nice waitress we were alot of people. Drinks and salads took a while to come out and also our main dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Mine was good I got egg drop soup with cheese tortellini in it and spinach. And for a main course I got chicken with spinach. It was flavorful I just wish it wasn't soo oily tasting. It's always risky to order pasta through delivery. Pasta is hard to get right even on-site--many (I dare to say most?) fail at al dente and serve us soggy goods. As pasta continues to cook en route, it often arrives a dismal mess. Enzo's planned ahead and delivered us a great spread--so I bet having their dishes in-house is divine! We got the spaghetti carbonara--light, yet somehow decadent. With pancetta. A little salty for me, but it's supposed! to be salty! We also had the rich tagliatelle bolognese. Thick meaty sauce on the perfect bed of pasta. Lots of flavor and seasoning. Then the raviolotti aurora, large ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta, fresh tomatoes, and cream. Full-flavored--sorry, there are only so many synonyms for rich, creamy, fatty, brimming. My husband had the tiramisu. He's had a few tiramisu dishes this week while accompanying me and I think we both liked this one the best. It was soft, creamy, not too heavy on the coffee flavor. It was like tiramisu gave us a romantic kiss, rather than an overly aggressive tongue kiss. I got the Italian ricotta cheesecake. I'm a big cheesecake fan. This wasn't the typical "cheesecake." It was a little lighter, milder. Somewhere between sweet and savory. It was a refreshing bite after the hearty pasta dishes. Enzo's has many pasta styles, as well as salmon, sole, veal, shrimp, chicken, sausage, steak, burrata, calamari, gnocchi. You'll notice in my photos that there is a random green bean box. This was the box in which our order was delivered. It had every dish laid out carefully, with cardboard dividers and bags. Nothing was spilled, everything was wonderfully arranged, everything was hot. Some Italian takeout I've ordered comes to me spilled and dripping in the bag. Enzo's (let's be specific, 451 Mamaroneck Ave) is so thoughtful that they found me a whole-ass box and cardboard dividers to deliver my order. My pasta arrived al dente and hot. Flavors good. Portions large (though we personally don't care about that). Deserts decadent. I can only think in-restaurant dining is out of this universe. read more

Service is always pleasant but confused. Restaurant always has large parties which is strange since our food was close to being inedible. Perhaps the main chef is too busy with parties. Beware of the daily specials. Overpriced, not fresh and poorly prepared. Side dish of potato croquettes tasted like they were heated and reheated several times. read more

The workers were so nice here to our child and friend and we really appreciated the friendly service. Lots on the menu and 3 of our dishes were I would say pretty good -- more average -the osso bucco, chicken scarp (chicken was too dry but spinach was delicious), pasta bolognese. consistently superior in every way! Decor at Enzo's is warm and inviting as was the host and waiter greeting us. Real crusty Italian bread and a different garden tapenade every time; delicious. My older son joined us last night and we shared a generous plate of clams Reganata done to perfection with plenty of sauce to mop up with the bread, followed by their version of a Caesar salad with the addition of Mozzarella balls and walnuts; very good and enough for the 3 of us .. our main course came out in unison and hot from the kitchen. My wife had grilled chicken with sauteed spinach that she requested lots of garlic and hot peppers, she was delighted. our son had his childhood favorite that was on the special board, Chicken Scarpielo, he too asked for more hot peppers . It was served with a spaghetti Brocolirape, excellent! I had as always the fat spaghetti with a hole through it, in a tomato sauce with Crispy Guanciale. I can't pronounce or spell the name for this dish, but I stopped ordering it anywhere else but here. Sheer perfection and a huge plate. My wife and I are having half the plate of our leftovers they boxed up for us tonight. The waiter was attentive to all our requests and needs. You will not have that problem at Enzo's. I have eaten there many times and will continue to do so, with friends and family. Since little down town Italian restaurant in Mamaroneck Village. Patty was very nice and made our drinks perfectly. The Chef Luciano is great and very accommodating to whatever you would like on the menu. We ordered pasta carbonara as an appetizer. It was delicious with tons of pancetta plenty for the table to share. When then ordered a veal chop with mushrooms and onions and chicken in a wine sauce with sausage peppers onions and potatoes. Both dishes were great. Veal was cooked perfectly medium well and the sausage was fantastic. Tiramisu was one of the best we've ever had it was so light and served extremely cold which was perfect. Fellow restaurant week 2023 diners, I am giving a 3 star review on the basis of overall experience. The food and service was great. But the end of the evening was not. Upon receiving the bill, the total included tip, which was calculated after the tax,..as an adjustment I withheld $5.00. It should be noted I paid in cash... soon after our server returned to our table and informed us the amount was short, and we owed him another 5.00 We tried to speak to the manager who informed us that's how it's done... it escalated to the point where we were told the police would be called, they got the 5.00 and lost any chance of me returning. My husband, son and I used a voucher here last evening. The prices for the entrees are quite high but since we had a discount, we went for it. They start you off with warm bread and butter as well as a complimentary small plate of well-seasoned bruschetta. We ordered our meals from the Blackboard Specials. My son and I both ordered the Shrimp and Sea Bass Franchese and my husband had the Chicken Michelangelo. We were also given a plate of Sauteed Green Beans and Carrots, for the table. I assumed that, because the entrees were over $22.00, they would have had their own sides, such as a pasta or individual vegetables. The Francese dish was okay. It was lightly breaded and fried Sea Bass and Shrimp in a Lemon White Wine Sauce. I am used to it also containing capers which were not present but it still tasted alright. I am just not sure if it was worth the $25.00 they were charging. On the other hand, my husband raved about the Chicken dish he had. It was chicken breast, topped with prosciutto, lightly breaded and fried and topped with asparagus and melted mozzarella. All in all, the meal was okay. I don't think I will be returning, though. The preparation of the meals, plating and pricing are a bit too old school for me. They would do well to modernize the menu. read more

Came here for Friday night diner with my partner and friends. The restaurant has an old school feeling much of what's expected from a family owned Italian restaurant. We stated with warm bread and a player of cheese and roasted veggies. Then as appetizers we shared the clams and burrata, both were very good but the clams were the best! So flavorful. I had the veal Vittelo Loreto and my boyfriend had the spay Luciano which was very meaty and saucy which he loved. My friends both had filet mignon which were cooked to perfection. One of them could not stop raving about how good it was even without the Gorgonzola sauce. For desert we had the coconut and mango gelato truffle and my friends shared the brown lava which we tasted and I can say it was good but I specially liked out coconut truffle. Not too sweet and topped with plenty of coconut . The service was spr did and everyone was very professional and attentive. The food portions were pretty big as well. I have been here many times in the last year and the food is really good! The Mussels Fra Diavolo is always excellent and spicy with tender, never sandy mussels. We order the mussels with Chorizo, fried zucchini and some fried calamari. Everything was delish. For entree we ordered some pasta to share. We had a large gathering of 30 people for lunch yesterday at Enzos. I grew up in Mamaroneck and even though there is a big selection of restaurants to choose from, Enzos has always been my go-to restaurant because of the food and the great service. I now live in NJ and will always stop in when I am in town. Everyone at the gathering raved about the food with many saying that they cannot wait to visit again. I had the best (no kidding) filet of sole that I ever had. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My wife and daughter had the gnocchi which was light as a cloud and the tomato sauce was awesome as usual. The service was fantastic which is a difficult feat with such a large crowd. Luciano, the owner, is very welcoming and treats you as you are part of the family. Give Enzos a try when you are in Mamaroneck. I promise that you will not be disappointed. read more

I only ended up here because I was given a Groupon. I dont think there is anything special about this place. Mediocrity comes to mind. At 6pm on a weeknight, my party were the only ones there other than a patron at the bar. I go to many quality and pricey restaurants but this place missed the mark big time. Just about every entree was over $20 but they were all typical and unexciting dishes.. they tasted good but werent memorable. The portions are large but Id 100% prefer half the quantity for a reduction in price. In terms of the decor, there was nothing unique in sight. I thought its decor was cliche and that of what a chain or franchised restautant would have. Maybe most noteworthy, the server was very polite and attentive. Our total bill, for 2, was about $70 but that did include 2 glasses of house wine. I have no reason to return here bc its not particularly convenient and is definitely not worth going out of my way for. A bonus was its close proximity to the indulgent desserts at "Milk n Cookies." read more

I've never had Chicken Scarpariello as good as Enzo's, even around Arthur Avenue in the Bronx or when I was lived in Italy. The kids were very happy with their pastas as were the other adults who had fish and veal. We spent a long time at the table just enjoying the meal and the atmosphere.
