My first time using Elim HVAC and I'm glad I gave them a call. I purchased this property and pre exciting A/C unit as is...However A/C unit wasn't working. My unit wouldn't turn on. It wasn't receiving electricity to the thermostat. I dreaded calling around different companies cause I wasn't sure of the exact problem and was expecting the worse possible outcome, like having to buy a entire A/C unit. I scheduled a tech to come out later the same day but there was a technician in the area and was able to arrive at my house just 15 mins of calling. The technicians were very professional and clean, they were able to fix my problem within 5 mins of inspecting my furnace. There was a blown fuse. My A/C unit was also low on freon and might have a possible leak...they explained the different option and I went with the quick cheapest option. They just added freon and a special sealant for any micro punctures..I hope that does the trick since I don't have the money as of yet to buy a new unit...my existing unit is over 18 yrs old. I manage a mixed use 4Plex in Venice and recently had a bad experience with another company regarding their breach of a Service Contract for the HVAC system serving the Pre-K School on the ground floor. Among other companies, I met with Marco and went over the options re: compatibility with our electrical capacity, Air Return placement, square footage, etc., I ended up replacing one of the 2 furnaces on the roof and entering into a new Service Contract with ELIM for 4 cleanings a year. The one HVAC unit replacement was a smooth operation, using a crane for removal and replacement, as was the work they did in modifying the school's interior Returns to optimize air flow.
