Update: I was contacted by the dealership, specifically by Tom A., and we had a good conversation about the experience I went through. I felt that Tom was interested to hear what I had to say. Next Monday my car will be picked up and looked at again to make sure that it 100% OK. I will follow up with result as soon as I get it back. Based on the above I am changing my rating of Elite Acura. I will do that again once I get my car back. Tank you Tom A. for stepping it up. In short... I am not really happy owner of 2018 Acura TLX, 3.6L AWD I bought the car at Elite Acura in October 2018. One month after the purchase, I started experiencing strong vibration in the steering wheel. It turned out to be unevenly surfaced rotors, which I had to resurface. Had it not been for a good will of the local Acura dealership (in PA) and Acura Customer refashions rep, I would have been stuck with $600.00 bill. So much for Elite Acura CPO program!!! It gets better... 2-3 month after the purchase, the first engine light came on when I was merging onto the speeding highway. The car suddenly lost acceleration and started violently shaking. I was almost ran over by the speeding 18-wheeler. I had no choice but to stop in the middle of the turnpike at great risk of causing an accident and turn off the engine. Two of my young children were inside the car!!! After that first episode, the engine check light appeared consistently. I contacted my local Acura dealer (in PA) and after scanning the computer for codes they determined that cause of the check engine light was constant engine misfire! They reset the codes and updated computer software. I was told that this should have fixed the problem. Once again, the car has passed all the stringent checks of Elite Acura CPO program!!! Result - engine misfire. Was the issue resolved? Of coarse not. The engine light came again, and again, and again... Twice I was ran over by speeding traffic with my family in the car!!! Long story short... After leaving the car for week and taking apart the engine at the local Acura dealer shop, it was finally determined that the lobes on both cam shafts were severely damaged. As a result, both cam shafts had to be replaced! So listen to this: engine misfire and damaged cam shaft in the Elite Acura CPO certified car!! Disgrace. At this point, I am convinced that either Elite Acura new about these problems and still sold me the car. Or, Elite Acura CPO program is a complete sham. I am not sure which one is worst. Interestingly enough, I have received a congratulatory email from Elite Acura for my 1 year anniversary of TLX ownership. I have replied to the email with description of the problems. My recent experience at your dealership was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Firstly, I was dismayed to discover that despite leaving my vehicle at your dealership for diagnostics, I received no updates on its status. When I arrived, Ryan informed me that diagnostics were not conducted on Saturdays. However, I later discovered that the diagnostic had indeed been performed, yet no solution was offered. This blatant dishonesty is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the integrity of your establishment. Furthermore, Ryan's lack of professionalism was evident when he chose to prioritize my personal phone conversation over assisting me with my car issue. His dismissive attitude and failure to provide adequate assistance left me feeling neglected and undervalued as a customer. Additionally, when I inquired about a recall, Ryan informed me that it couldn't be addressed until Monday, further adding to my frustration. It is evident that communication and transparency are severely lacking within your dealership, as I was left in the dark about the status of my vehicle until I took the initiative to follow up. Moreover, the lack of accountability and responsibility demonstrated by your team is deeply concerning. I entrusted my vehicle to your dealership in good faith, only to be met with incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at your dealership was marred by poor communication, dishonesty, and a lack of professionalism. I urge you to address these issues promptly and take measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Additionally, I implore Acura to conduct a thorough investigation into the practices of this location and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. We were in the market for a car for our son, who will be driving soon. We had been shopping and returned the dealer where we had purchased our last 3 cars. Unfortunately they didn't have the deal for us. We came across a car on Elite Acura's website that met the criteria for our search. Uneasy to shop from an unknown to us dealer, we were pleasantly surprised. We got in touch with the dealer to make sure the car was available as it was a rainy Saturday and we are some distance away. Our questions were answered quickly during our initial contact and we decided to make the trip. After our first test drive we felt as though there was something on the car that needed to be adjusted, our sales consultant, Joseph Inglima and the general sales manager, Mike Greco advised us they would have the service department look at the car on Monday and we could come back and drive it again after it was adjusted. Most dealers would have encouraged us to buy the car and then promised to fix it after the purchase but Joe and Mike realized the importance of a safe vehicle for our son. As promised the adjustment was made and we were notified. My husband and son returned to the dealer on Monday night to test drive the car again. All was well with the car and we were able to come to an agreement on the price. However it was getting late on a school night and Joe and Mike recognized this and instead of making my husband and son wait until late until all of the paperwork could be done and the car to be cleaned and ready they told us we could return the next day so that we could get home (we are about an hour away). We returned the next day and our purchase was promptly finalized. It was refreshing to us that Joe, Mike and really everyone at the dealership was more concerned with making sure we were happy, well cared for and safe than making a sale. Rarely in today's market can you shop at a dealer where you can find a good deal, NO PRESSURE, and a staff who genuinely care. With this in mind we would highly recommend Elite Acura to anyone in the market for a new car. We can say with confidence that we will be visiting again. read more

Firstly, I want to start off by saying that I am a long time customer of Elite Acura. I have been going there for about 10 years and I have purchased two cars from them, albeit used cars, both Hondas. I have bought each of my cars to them for service because they did good quality work, and I don't like too many hands on my car, even though I knew the prices are a bit more than if I had taken them to a Honda dealership. However, back in May my AC was not working correctly-the air that came out the vents wasn't cool. I paid for the repair, or so I thought, and I was told that I had a one-year warranty and could come back to get the AC recharged as needed. It wasn't before long that I had to come back for the same problem. That time I was told that a cap had melted somewhere and needed to be replaced and it was recharged again. Not even a week later, the cool air stopped working again so I had to take my car in for service, a third time. I really had no choice, being that I have a newborn premature baby and I cannot afford to travel with her in an unairconditioned car. The last time I requested a shuttle and a loaner vehicle, but I was immediately told that I couldn't have a loaner because I didn't have an Acura, and I also did not receive a shuttle ride back home while they checked my car again. So I had to wait about 3 hours at the dealership with my baby while they figured out the problem. Basically I was told that the issue was something else than I had paid for and that I should go to a Honda dealership for a complete diagnosis and the estimated cost would be $1,000. Long story short, I felt like I was being looked down upon because I didn't own an Acura, as if I shouldn't be there. The whole experience was very stressful and I don't have the time or money to keep going back and forth without results. I lost complete confidence in Elite Acura that day and I will not be going back. read more

Elita Acura is a HORRIBLE dealership!!! DO NOT Buy from Them!!!! After coming to terms with a deal and leaving a deposit of $500, we were told that they would be trucking in our car because we didn't want one with 200 miles already on it. The car was supposed to arrive at the dealership after 2 days but after calling numerous times with no response from our sales guy or any of the sales manager they finally said they had located the car. They then tried renegotiating the terms of the sale by saying they were going to charge us NJ sales tax when the registration and primary driver for the car was in FL, probably trying to pocket the difference in the sales tax for themselves. We emailed them back that the sales manager no longer wanted to do business with us after we did not agree to pay for the NJ sales tax as that was not what they told us from the start and that we wanted to get our deposit back but they were completely unresponsive with our phone calls. At first we noticed that the phone would ring a few times before going to voice mail and after figuring out it was us calling they would send us straight to voicemail after one ring. We had to drive down 40 minutes after being unable to contact anyone from Elite Acura to get the $500 deposit back. When we got there we spoke with a sales manager who was sitting at his desk even though we called him 5 times while we were on the road. He took us to the private documents room and shut us inside so that no one else could see we had an issue with them and started slamming the cabinets when he couldn't even find our sales folder. He lied about not having a copy of our deposit payment as it was made by credit card and then magically it appears from the same folder a few minutes later. These people are a bunch of liars and scam artists so if you like dealers with liars, be sure to come here. read more

I have never ever used YELP before to create a review, but this is a first for me. Usually if i'm dissatisfied, I make a mental note to never return and that's the end- however this time is different. I purchased a 2010 GMC Terrain in March 2015 after trading in my 2008 Audi a4 which was in mint condition. I researched online and saw this was a dealer with good reviews and the exact car I wanted. I traveled from the Eastern Shore of MD to come to YOUR dealership. On the WAY HOME the brakes started making an odd sound- I took it to my local GMC dealership and every single rotor was warped, new brake pads were needed etc, they informed me that I was completely ripped off. Almost 1,000 dollars in repairs. Go along a week - another problem, and so on. I'm up to about 5k now in issues with the car which have been non-stop since purchasing. Your website says "Honesty", that's BS. You sold me a malfunctioning car and you knew what kind of deal you were getting with this Audi that I traded in. Never again. Why am I writing you ask? Because I just received the bill for an ABS malfunction that was $900, about the same price as the other 5 or 6 bills since purchasing the car in Mar 2015. You also knew my situation, as I was a 20 year old nursing student with limited income. Thanks. I hate buying cars, matter of fact, I would rather go to the dentist, then buy a new or pre-owned car. But, Joe Inglima and the Elite Acura team, made the purchase quick,easy, and painless for our pre-owned RDX. They let me take the car to my mechanic to have it checked out. This was amazing to me, because that was in Delaware County Pa some 30 miles away from Elite Acura. Some dealerships try to deny you this most basic option, trust me I have walked out of dealerships due to this basic right. Besides, I was financing the purchase through my credit union, and they said that was not a problem. Again, this is amazing to me, some of the dealerships that I went into recently, tried to run my credit the minute I waked in the door, and would not even consider what I was telling them. Joe was very flexible with us through the entire purchase. Joe, you were wonderful!!! Keep up the great customer service, it will keep customers coming back again and again. I had purchased my certified pre-owned SH-AWD TL from Elite Acura. As always, there were a few lingering items that needed to be addressed, so I had consulted with the service team there. Both Chris and Lisa are by far the most attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, and straight-forward personnel I have ever dealt with at ANY dealership before. Every.Single.Time I would go into Elite Acura and speak with Chris and/or Lisa, it was if I literally had nothing to worry about. They always took care of everything from understanding my rendition of problems I am facing, to addressing it correctly the FIRST time, to putting me in a loaner....etc the list goes on and on. I live an hr away from the dealership, and would absolutely take that trip time and time and time again just to receive the exceptional service from Elite Acura. If for whatever reason anything needs to be completed with your Acura, take it straight to Chris or Lisa, you will be pleased with the level of respect and cooperation they present. I recently purchased a 2013 Acura ILX from Elite Acura and I have to say that this was far and away the most pleasant and pleasurable car buying experiences I have ever had. My salesman was Keith Kaufman. Treated me with respect from the moment I entered the showroom. He never tried to push me into something I didn't want, asked honest questions to qualify me and if I said no, he didn't try to change my mind. Every question was my choice, my answer to give and he followed by my directions. When I decided to purchase, (and I had some severe credit problems,) they took the challenge and got me approved. When it came time to receive my new car, the business manager, Balal Rauf, again treated me with respect and courtesy. At every step of the process I was made to know that it was their privilege to have me as a customer. I was never treated like I was at their mercy. Unable to come to an agreement, I decided to try Elite. I walked in and met with, I would say the most honest and upfront car salesman. Gary was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and most of all, gave me the best deal I found anywhere. There was very little negotiating, as he told me he would give me the best price he could. When he gave me his offer, it was far below any I received from the other dealerships I visited. He breaks the car salesman stereotype- He's honest and a man of his word who goes out of his way to be sure you are happy. On the day of my purchase I was in the final steps of signing paperwork when I got a call on my cell to find out my father had a stroke and was being rushed to the hospital. Joe and his team went out of their way to get me out the door within minutes (literally!). I'm not used to having good experiences at dealerships because the news is generally not good and very expensive. But I had two good experiences at Elite Acura in Maple Shade within two weeks of each other. First I took advantage of an oil change special (off of their web site-$40) which included a free muti-point inspection, car wash, and drive home/back. I was certain before I picked the car up that they would try and up-sell me something. They didn't! The next visit was due to a battery that sometimes needed a jump. They took the car back, discovered it was the fuse, but also replaced the battery - for free. Reason? They felt responsible for missing the problem the first time around. Had my brakes changed at a private shop where they placed after market brakes that were making a terrible squeaking noise whenever I can to a stop. Randomly looked up Acura dealerships near where I work and landed at Elite Acura. Nathan and Chris helped me service my 2012 Acura MDX. They were very professional and did their job well. I did not get the usual "you need to change everything in your car". They were honest and told me what is recommended but also told me of the things I didn't need to change despite being "due for it". My experience at Elite Acura was not a typical car dealer experience. Everyone was polite and courteous.My salesman, Sung Kim, was helpful, pleasant and did not pressure me. In fact, no games or back and forth hassle. After a short discussion, I had a new MDX that was within my financial criteria. Sung is knowledgeable, courteous and patient. He took the time to show me how the car and the computer systems worked and answered all my questions. Amazing service. I found myself stuck on the side of the road -- NJ Turnpike heading home to Maryland. I hobbled to this dealership where I was treated as though I purchased my car there. They took me right away without an appointment and I was not there long at all. While I waited I had access to a private office space where I could get work done and free snacks. I have been an Elite Acura customer for over 6 years. The service there is the best, and the standard of service is high. I own my second MDX, but unfortunately, it turned out to have a defect and, despite many attempts, it could not be repaired. I am still impressed by how dedicated the team was in trying to fix my car. They took the matter very seriously. I started a lawsuit (Lemon Law) and I will definitely buy another MDX and come back here for service. I highly recommend advisor Spencer he is the best!!! Will see you guys soon! read more

I just bought a car here. Great car. The salesman was great as was the finance guy. The problem was the used car manager I had to deal with on my trade. "Mike" was an unprofessional horses ass, right out the "old time", scumbag car dealer mode. How is a guy like this working for Acura????? I would have given them one star just for this guy except the salesman was so good. Mike was so bad the salesman just blushed and stared at his feet, then apologized when he left.
