I was assigned this company by my home warranty to fix my dishwasher. It took over a week for them to come to my house to start the claim process. They then had to comeback to make their approved repairs. Unfortunately, they did nothing but unplug my dishwasher and leave. Made no repairs and left my dishwasher unplugged and inoperable. They then closed out my claim as "complete" with my warranty company. After 10 days out of town, I returned to an inoperable dishwasher and Elite Appliance Repair had done nothing to advance my claim. I called (took many tries as this company hardly answers the phone and does not return calls) and restarted my claim. They claimed they had to get approval for backorder parts. Another 10 days later, no parts, no repair scheduled and the company has become unresponsive. Hands down, one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a contractor. Stay far, far away. read more

I waited the whole day for the repair man to come, called a few times for his arrival and the girl on the service line simply said "you cancelled this appointment, go and call whirlpool yourself" after I expressed my frustration. I never write bad reviews, but this company is deserving of one They don't even deserve a 1-star rating but -0- stars was not an option. Have a new Whirlpool fridge, delivered in April, out in July. Whirlpool sent Elite Appliance out to diagnose the problem. Two tech's said I needed a coil and a compressor. In diagnosing the problem, the "tech's" removed the top basket drawer from the freezer, then couldn't put it back properly. Figured it would be fixed when the parts came in, 3-4 days, couldn't use the freezer anyway. He'd let his boss know. Days went by and I had to call Elite to find out where are the parts. We're waiting for the coil, should be here in a few days. I wait. Called again. Can you please check with Whirlpool to find out where the part is? Turns out, a "miscommunication" between Elite and Whirlpool, but part will be shipped overnight. Did your tech tell you about the drawer? No. A few days later the coil arrived at my house, I let Elite know and they sent another tech to fix the freezer. He fixed the problem, didn't even need the coil, so waiting for more than two weeks could have been avoided. After he fixed the compressor, he tried to put the drawer back in but wasn't in as it should be. BUT, he said it works...see, it's in the slot, and rolls in and out. Are you serious? I said several times, I see it's in the slot but it moves sideways by at least 3-4 + inches both ways, and you say this is the way it should be? Didn't glide in and out smoothly. This is not how it was before the previous techs came out. He said, maybe you have to have some weight on the drawer, so when you put your food back in it should be ok. Come on! (I took videos of before and after but I don't see that I can post videos here. Too bad.) Anyway, the tech said "I'm not going to fix it, the other guys can come back and fix it. But I'll let my manager know. Waited a couple of days for a phone call from Elite, but once again, I had to call them. Did your tech tell you about the drawer? He did not. He checked with the tech, came back and said the technician says the drawer is working perfectly fine. You've got to be kidding, I'm not an idiot, the drawer was working perfect before your guys got here and you should fix it! He's lying! So, Jordan (Justin), whatever his name is, said the ticket was closed and would not send anyone out, I'd have to start the process all over again. He no longer wanted to talk to me so he abruptly put me on hold and never came back. I called Whirlpool explained my situation, asked for a different company to come out to fix the drawer. The next day, Hector arrived at my door from 1-800-Appliance. Super nice guy. Looked at the drawer and said, yep, there is definitely something wrong. Within 5 minutes and a few adjustments, the drawer was installed properly and working just as it did before Elite put their lying hands on it. Had issue with my Samsung fridge not cooling. Contacted Elite appliance repair and they dispatched a tech within a time frame that worked for me. Tech diagnosed the issue and got to ordering a new part for me. The part did take a while to arrive but the owner kept me in the loop the whole time and answered any questions I had. Once the part arrived they were able to dispatch techs the next day and have it installed in a timely manner. Within a couple hours my fridge was cooling like it was supposed to.
